These are great hikers. Ready to wear the moment I took them out of the box. I work outside at a golf course, I spend all of my Shifts on my feet. I'm comfortable and my feet stay Dry. I also wear them for landscaping and just Casual wear.

Merrill is one of the best wide shoe I have found that stands up to the elements. I'm happy with the comfort this shoe provides. It's good on slick rock and on sharp granite. Just returned from Moab and the hikes I took wearing this shoe were without any issue. I'm satisfied.

I've tried many different brands, but found that Merrell's fit my feet the best of all, never a break in period, always comfortable, easy to clean, and looks great!

If you are looking for a shoe that performs well while hiking, walking, or light jogging AND doubles as a classy casual footware when out on the town, this is it. Here is a tip though: Younger studs can order medium width. Older studs should consider a 1/2 size larger and wide width to compensate for the arch's that begin to sag after 50.

What else could you ask for; the shoe is true to size, has a comfortable insole and is waterproof. I just got those and they were comfortable enough to wear on a 10 mile hike after only two days of wearing them. These are considerably more comfortable than the Solomon's I returned because they were biting my toes.

Just got my Moab 2 Waterproof Wide Width shoes and they're great. Very happy with them so far. If they're anything like my older ones, I'm sure I'll get many years of use from them. They fit well and were comfortable right out of the box. Will you be including a quick lace variant in the future? I had that on my older Merrell's and I loved it.

This is my fourth pair of Merrell's and I really like this style. This shoe is comfortable and last longer than any of my other shoes. A must have!

I love my Merrell Moab's in wide width. Finally found a shoe that reliably fits my wide (EEE) foot great. These hold up to wear and tear like a dream, last really well with rough usage. Once I tried to save money, and got the non-waterproof ones, but am back to spending a llittle more and keeping dry here in our wet Oregon weather. The latest pics on the website seem to show the dark brown in the color they always were, but my latest pair came and they are more gray than brown. I called Merrell and got a human quickly (thanks!) and they confirmed I got the brown, using a number inside the shoe; and they said they'd check with the web folks to update the photo as needed. I wear these doing maintenance, climbing on roofs, hiking in all conditions, going out to eat, and I highly recommend them. Have bought at least 5 pairs over the last several years.

After 60 my feet tend to swell a bit when I exercise or travel. Great walking shoe for travel. MAOB best shoe for me by far. I have the higher boot as well.

Great shoe been wearing them for years, waterproof, comfortable, no break in needed

the Moab 2 hiking shoe was comfortable from the start, no break in time. I wore it on long walks with my dog up and down hills and doing yard work. I am looking forward to going up Crabtree Falls trail here in Virginia on May 6th.

Received my pair of these about a month ago... The fit, right out of the box was / is great.. I like that the toe doesn't come to more of a point like a lot of shoes... The Moab is a little broader and more blunt at the toes. Considering another pair in a different color....

I purchased these shoes so i would have a better shoe for all around activities with the kiddos. Athletic shoes were simply not cutting it anymore. These shoes are great! They fit and are really comfortable. Also, they have excellent traction on all surfaces including wet as well. Hands down the best shoe for all out door activities!

Stable, comfortable and functional

Just a great shoe. I beat my old one to death in two years (same model.) Walked in water, got soaked, dirty, stuck in mud, just kept going. Support and treads finally gave out so I bought a new pair and they are just as great. Comfortable, cool, water-proof (when you don't submerge them!) Just a great product. If I had one comment, I wish they'd throw in some flash on the trim. A little bright orange would be good!!

For me there was absolute comfort right from the start. I vacationed in Ireland and wear them at work everyday. Such a great product.
