Do a lot of walking with my job and merrell is my 1st choice of footwear! Whether it comes to work or all outdoor activities there's no better shoe!

Have worn this boot ( Moab 2 ) many years for work and every day use and have been pretty happy with it-- I will say though using it for work( Marine Diesel Repair) i wear them out in 6/months but they are very comfortable right out of the box and worth it to me. Hope they never try and cut corners on this boot and keep it the same and if they have to just better it and not raise the price.

Second pair. I had no hesitation getting these after the fit, comfort and usability of the first pair. And this decision was only a few weeks before taking off for a Trek to Nepal.

This is my second pair of Moab's. The first pair lasted eight years and were put to the test hiking in mountainous, rocky terrain. Nice ventilation. Very comfortable and durable. They finally wore out. I'll assume my new ones will perform the same.

I had a pair of these previously and was replacing them with another pair. I have a wide foot and ordered the Wide as I thought that was what my last pair were. They proved to be too wide. I ordered the standard Medium width and got a good fit. I alternate between thin and medium weight socks and find the Medium the best answer. I did not try the Wide with a heavy sock. Great boots all the same. Definitely will consider them again.

This is my second pair of Merrell boots and I intend to only ever purchase Merrell's after getting these. They fit perfectly, the shoe is durable but lightweight, and it looks great. Very satisfied.

I had to check again to make sure I was wearing a hiking boot, it was so light and comfortable. I thought I was wearing an athletic shoe at first. Stylish enough for casual wear, obviously good for hiking, but also good for running around like a maniac on mixed surfaces while playing airsoft.

I have had a pair of Merrell Moab Vent low before and after several years of hard use they are finally about ready to be retired. I have enjoyed them and they have been very comfortable so I decided to order a new pair. I ordered one pair of the new Moab 2 Vent low and also a pair of the Moab 2 Vent Mid. The shoes arrived and from the first moment I tried them on they already feel like a comfortable, already broke in pair of shoes. I ordered the Wide width due to my high instep and there is plenty of room without feeling loose and no heel slippage. I also noticed the new arch support that these new shoes have and it seems to be just right without being over arched. I love these new shoes and I am considering ordering a couple more pair just to hold onto until these two new pair wear out. I would like to try a pair in the Earth color but unfortunately they are out of stock in my size. I may have to order a pair in Charcoal/Grey or just get another pair in the Walnut color.
I'd also recommend:
I work outdoors so I am very hard on shoes. I have had some luck with Columbia shoes.

I am on my fourth pair! I buy a new pair every 12-15 months. I live in the foothills in Albuquerque and hike mostly decomposed granite trails, so the soles do wear throughout the year. I just save the old pair for knocking around the yard. No need for the waterproof version here in the desert, so the ventilator version is just perfect for our dry, dusty hiking climlte. Highly recommend this mid boot for your hiking activities. p.s...I do not backpack, so I'm not sure how these boots would stand up under a load.

Good Boot, as expected. Comfortable and Durable. What was a pleasant surprise is that one could feel the cooler air flowing through the boot while riding a motorcycle. Nice advantage on hot days.

For over two and a half years working over 40 hour weeks I walked 4-5 miles daily on the hard surfaces of a major university in Minnesota. Year round to include snow. These shoes breathe well helping with the sweating foot issues I have. I finally purchased a new pair, still using the old for mowing two acres by hand. The longevity of these shoes speaks for themselves. I'm both picky and hard on my footwear. Extremely pleased.

I have been wearing the MOABs for many years both for hiking on vacations and for everyday use. The vibram sole is great for my feet. I was thrilled to find them in black to make them officially part of my work uniform.

Wow! What a great buy. These shoes fit perfect right out of the box and were incredibly comfortable. They were actually lighter than I expected and have performed well in the short time I have owned them. I can see why they are the MOABs.

I wear an 8D street shoe. I ordered an 8 1/2 M. They fit but I wanted a little more room in the toe. Zappo’s return policy allowed me to print return label, and order 9M size. They fit perfect. Had I bought these boots else where, I probably would have just kept them vs paying return shipping and or restocking fee. Zappos is the best.
