I choose these because the fit is just right for my miserable feet. The sole forms to my foot, gives me needed toe width and they wear on our little farm very well. I never have problems with topside wearing out and the bottom is AWSOME for our rocky terrain. I do not wear any other shoe only my Merrill's!

These are the most comfortable hiking shoes I've ever owned. I've been hiking over a year in them and just bought a second pair. Highly recommend.

If you have wide feet, these are so comfy. I love them. They aren't heavy like they look. Lightweight and look amazing plus waterproof!

Took 3 pairs of shoes with me to all 5 national parks in utah, jackaon hole and yellow stone, and glacier national park this past summer. Sandals, trail runners and the moab 2 waterproof hiking boots. Boots were key footware on most hikes but especially on trails at glacier. In retrospect, i should have arranged to do commercial for merrell :-). My husband needed new hikers so i bought a men's pair for him as a Christmas present.

No break in period needed! These shows took me through the trails of Sedona, AZ. Through mud, snow, ice and everything in between. Keep me dry and my feet felt great.
Highly recommend!

Great shoes. Traveled to Europe on cruise, exploring cobble-stoned cities and many tourist attractions. Keeps feet warm and dry with a firm grip, preventing any slipping or sliding.

Super comfortable, not heavy or bulky. I'm super happy with them. I ordered wide to accommodate thick socks for winter hikes.

I wore these boots during a hiking trip at Zion National Park in December. They were very comfortable right from the start, no breaking in time needed.

This is the second pair of Moab 2 Mid Waterproof boots. I Wore my first pair for many, many years, the quality is outstanding. The first time I slipped my foot into this boot it felt like a slipper. Never had to break them in or anything like that, they were comfortable from the start. I have tried on many other brands but keep coming back to Merrell due to the comfort. I have recommended this boot to my friends and 4 of them are now wearing the same ones.

I live in the mountains, in the woods. I have trails that i use daily. My Moab 2s are really comfortable, warm, and the grip is great on every surface. They are just as good on the streets of Manhattan. I have another pair that are 6 years old, and they are still great when mucking around in the garden or after long rainy stretches. Well worth the money.

These are very nice boots. I live in CO where it is cold and snowy during the winter months. The boots have a great tread on them and do well on ice also! They are very warm and comfortable to wear for hours! So happy that I purchased them!

3 weeks before a scheduled hiking trip in CO and UT, I broke a bone in my ankle. Had a big boot for a week, then started physical therapy and switched to a smaller, very stiff brace. It was rough going at first, and hiking in Colorado was extremely limited, but by the time we were in UT a month after my accident, with my Merrills (which accommodated my brace) and a pair of trekking poles I was able to slowly hike a number of (relatively easy) trails, including Queen's Garden and Navaho Loop in Bryce Canyon. The boots were comfy and very supportive, and I felt confident and comfortable!

I have had several pairs of these shoes and the don't disappoint. Lightweight, waterproof, warm, but not hot. What more could you want?

I tried the Merell Moab 3 in an 8W and the Merrell Moab 2 in a 7.5W. I kept the Moab 2 because it fit better, and I inserted my own arch support.

Best hiking shoes for wet. Slippery steep rocks. They grab and hold for no slip

Great deep tread. Built high enough for good ankle
support, and waterproof. Just what I need for half my year in the mountains.

I love these boots! My only complaint is the shortness of the laces as zi like to tie my bows in knots but so far they havent come loose.
