I recently bought a new pair of Moab 2s to replace a well-worn pair of Moabs that have been in service for years. The Moab 2s were well-rated by some reputable sources, so this was an easy decision for me. My new boots are so comfortable . . . I am happily wearing them daily! Thanks, Merrell!

My wide Moabs are awesome for my work on the horse farm. Very comfortable and keep my feet warm and sry.

Great hiking boot, very comfortable from the beginning. First pair I've owned, super impressed! Great traction and rock protection on challenging terrain. Slip proof laces would be nice, other than that, these are remarkable! Had to return a medium for a wide due to my extra wide feet, customer service was a joy to work with, you can actually talk to someone without holding forever, very nice and professional people. I would recommend the boots and the company behind them to all my friends!

Excellent boot. Very comfortable. To ensure use in the wet I used a spray waterproofing and the boot worked great. I walk 15000 to 20000 steps a day mainly on pavement and I got about 6 months of good life. For me I am happy how long the soles and heel lasted.

This hiking boot is perfect. Very firm sole that creates a nice platform for your foot when hiking uneven terrain. Super comfortable inside! I actually wore them around the house when I first got them and they were more comfy than my slippers! So far they have been waterproof but I haven't had any really wet days yet. Just a solid hiking boot - can't go wrong!

I have had the Moab boots for over a year and I am very please with the comfort of these shoes. They are as comfortable or more than my tennis shoes. They have held up very well. There is hardly any wear on them a year in, so I am sure i will enjoy them for many years to come.

I have not worn these yet but since I've had so many pairs of Moabs that won't matter. What really stands out is the fit is different from the goretex version. The forefoot is a bit wider with a more boxy toe box as opposed to the pointier toe box of the goretex model. I don't know if it's just a different last shape the models are built on or if Merrell has changed both versions but it is an improvement in my opinion. All my Merrells have been well made and lasted about as long as I wanted to wear them. Never had a pair with any defects or premature failure and I've had at least 10 pairs worn for work and hunting.

I have been wearing Merrill Moab's for years, both mid and low. I virtually wear them out. I have yet to find a more durable, comfortable all around footwear. I even carry a pair in my "ready bag" just in case.

Have had several pairs of these shoes and keep coming back for more. Great customer service also.

Love this pair. Am taking to and leaving in Ireland (for subsequent visits). Will buy another pair for home upon return. Comfortable right out of the box. Love that there is a wide option.

Went for a hike as soon as I took them out of the box. Walked 4 Miles with my dog had no issues with my feet they felt great.

Good styling, very comfortable, and durable. Very supportive for my bad ankles. This is my third pair. I use them for work and play.

Merrell makes the absolute best shoes in my opinion. Within hours of receiving the shoes I got to test them out and I could not be happier. The hot coffee may have got my legs but my feet were dry and happy. The hike that followed was the best hike my feet have ever experienced. Thank you Merrell and the folks whom make these wonderful shoes! I will be a life long customer.

I've been wearing Merrell products for years. These boots are comfortable and stylish. My first hike was six hours long and my feet felt great afterward.

This is my 2nd pair of the same shoe and I love them. They fit great and last a long time.

These boots are far and away the most comfortable and long lasting shoes I have ever purchased. I will not be looking any further for my next pair.

Very comfy/sturdy fit right out of the box. Don't feel like they even need to be broken in. Less ankle slip than shoe version.

Wanted to wait til I actually put these to the test before giving a review (Always wonder why products are reviewed right out of the box). I have been a Merrell Chameleon fan but needed some better ankle support The Merrell Labor Day sale on the waterproof Moab was great timing for my Hiking vacation in Hendersonville and DuPont Recreational Site at the end of September. I wore them regularly in to " beak them in" before our vacation. Honestly I really didn't need to. They fit to size and were comfortable and gave good support. I enjoy the hook tie at the top of the shoe to give better ankle support. Glad I gave the Moab line a try. Very pleased.

I buy these in the wide size and they are my favorite boot. Comfortable, supportive and reasonably long lasting.
