I have never tried Columbia boots or shoes before, but now I am sold on this hiking boot. Perfect fit, well made and a great value compared to other big brands. I am buying another pair! I actually bought these for garden and yard work with good ankle support. I like the lacing system so I can get just the right fit for my one leg with issues--nearly 3 years ago and still recovering from a freak fall when broke/shattered both bones in lower leg, 6 inpatient surgeries in 9 months and a very tender foot which is learning to wear shoes again. Throughout it all, Zappos has been a HUGE part of my Care Team as I have ordered and tried and then bought a variety of comfort shoes as well as loose style pants. I bought these boots for a weekend of camping and moderate hiking. They were super comfortable and did not need to be broken in. I wear a size 5.5 and they fit perfectly with thick wool socks. Definitely recommend.

I ordered a half size up after reading the reviews and it was the perfect fit! It left a little room in case I need a thicker sock.

I love these boots! I would def. recommend going up a full size if your feet tend to swell when you hike around. I am always a true 10 and I got a size 10.5 and I still felt like I needed just a little more room so I got size 11. The style is so cute, they are comfy right out of the box!

Nice boots, but they run small! I normally wear size 9-10 wide, and I ordered a 10 wide but my toes are at the end. Need to size up at least a half size, if not a whole size. Wide width was good though.

These arrived yesterday and I’m wearing them around the house to break them in a little. They’re super comfy and I think they’ll be great for hiking (as well as a glacier adventure I have coming up). posting a 4 overall, only because I’ve barely worn them and I don’t truly know. I do have wide feet (and purchased a wide width boot); happy to say that these are very cute and do not make my feet look like potatoes. :)

I wanted to love these so bad. They did have a bed that felt comfy. I ordered half a size larger (and in wide because I need wide) and reviews were right about it being half a size smaller than your normal shoe size. The left shoe actually felt ok, but the right really hurt because the width was NOT a usual wide size shoe. I can't know if it was just the pair I got sent...that one shoe was more narrow than the other, but these just didn't work for me.

I wear a Size 8 in shoes but bought 8.5 and they fit well. All I can say is that after my first hike in a long time (4.5 miles, 1,100 feet elevation) the only part of my body that did not ache were my FEET.

This was a good fit, gave my foot a little more space to feel like I can spread my toes. Like all hiking boots, this one is quite tight and rigid. However, I did just stride comfortably through the fresh snow and my feet were 100% dry. Good grip on the soles too.

This is my 4th or 5th pair of this boot. Perfect fit, waterproof, sturdy boot. I work outdoors and these boots hold up to rain, mud and keep my feet dry and warm. I’ve tried other boots but always go back to these for the fit and protection. Please note the pic was taken after a few days of wear. They clean up easily with a dry brush.

Excellent hiking boots! I went for a 6 mile hike in Summer. It got a little sweaty in there but still felt great. The boots have great cushioning but still sturdy, and the curve on the back fit my ankles perfectly. Didn’t even have to break them in, they were comfy from the get go. Haven’t tested the waterproof abilities yet but I’m sure they would be great. I would recommend these to anybody! It’s awesome for the price too.

These feel pretty good, and I've been wearing them ahead of a hiking trip to wear in a bit. That said, I'm typically between a 7.5 and 8. I got an 8 wide and they feel a little too roomy. I would return but I wore them out and about too much to send back now. They'll work, but if you're in between sizes and have a slightly wider foot, consider sticking with a 7.5.

Love the red laces and accent color. Very comfortable and the stylish hiking boot I could find in my size 12.

These shoes were very cute. I ordered them in the blue color. These shoes are relatively wide. I usually wear a 6W but I ordered these in 6.5M and I thought they were wide enough. I ended up returning them, but only because I decided that hiking shoes were a better fit more my needs than hiking boots. My biggest complaint about the shoes is that they don't have much arch support, so if I had decided to keep them (I thought about it because they look really nice and a good price) then I would have put orthotic insoles in them.

I wanted to love these boots. They are beautiful, but they were narrower in the toe box than expected and loose in the heel, as if the wide size was applied to the heal. Also, along with a wide toe box I have a high instep. These were not designed for anyone with high insteps. So sad to return them.

I wear a true size 5, but often need to get a 5.5 or 6 because of a high instep and a wide forefoot (my heels are narrow). I usually get boots in a 6 to accommodate socks. I ordered these in a 5.5 wide. They looked great (and I was delighted that they were waterproof), but they were _way_ too large for me (at least a full size too long). Large as they were, the top put uncomfortable pressure on the base of my toes, so I didn't bother trying to exchange them for a 5.
