Great build and lightweight hiking shoe for toddlers and kids.

My daughter thinks these are not as comfortable as her previous, different style, pair of hiking shoes.

As a parent of five children, it's hard to find gear of high quality across the age spectrum that everyone likes. We are either hiking or outside daily. These shoes have over 10 miles on them since we received them a couple of weeks ago. The fit, functionality and sturdiness is the same across the range of sizes I purchased from a toddler's through my own. We have hiked flat land to Rocky Mountain peaks without a single complaint about feet or soreness... without any additional breaking in. They have traversed streams and played in lakes. I wish I could only take away a half star, as my only complaint was the lack of color options in stock. I know, it's picky. Short of that, the only other thing I've had to do is tuck in lace ends for the smallest as they go past her toes when tightened. I look forward to passing these down among the children next season.

Sturdy shoe for lots of outdoor play, especially in the fall/winter when it's wet and cold outside. However, the laces began to unravel in less than a month of wear. Overall we are happy with it, and it provides good ankle support.

After two weeks the front peeled off

Unfortunately with my feet size I have to purchase children shoes. These shoes are definitely functional but have poor cushioning and comfort for an adult. I can definitely feel the pain on my feet and stress on my knees at the end of my hike. They however are quite waterproof and durable. I will definitely use them for future hikes but purchase additional cushion to aid in the comfort for my feet and stress on my knees.

It is too tight and hard and no strip my kid don't like it

Columbia needs to start making half sizes in the kids shoes.
