I'm sad. This sounds like a great shoe. But not for my feet. The reviews I read that said the toe box is narrow compared to other Keen styles were absolutely correct. Much too narrow in the toe for my duck feet.

I ordered 4 pair of waterproof trail runners and this Keen offered the best fit and best features. I've averaged 4-8 miles on the trail each week from Sept - Feb. While I've really enjoyed the shoe, I'm a bit disappointed that they are both completely worn out after 5 months. The bottom soles are fine, but the uppers are completely torn and shredded (and no longer waterproof). I would have expected more durability from Keens.

I have been looking for shoes like this for a long time (hiking boot that looks like a sneaker) - so glad I found them! I consider myself to have rather wide feet but didn't feel like these were too narrow - I just loosened the laces (they came laced up very tight out of the box) and they fit fine, even with thick socks. I normally go between 8 and 7.5 - tried both in these - and the 7.5 fits best.

Ages ago, I used to spend my summer weekends day hiking various parts of the Tahoe Rim Trail- where were these shoes back then? Very light in weight, trim in design, good grit grip underneath- and super cute to boot! Purchased a pair in the Bungee Cord/Malachite teal color for a trip to New Zealand. We didn’t rent a car, so we were on foot most of the time. Auckland is quite hilly like San Francisco, and after a week of hitting the pavement, whether we trekked up or down, my toes and heels never blistered, and my ankles and knees never tired. However, after reading another review for the original Terradora, I did order one half-size up to a 10.5 from my usual size 10 for Keen. Good call- perfect fit, especially in the toe box. P.S. We enjoyed spectacularly sunny weather, so I can’t fairly report on the waterproof aspect of this style, but the high quality of the materials used seem like they would quickly dry out if ever truly soaked. Happy Trails!

Once broken in, very comfortable. Liked the look. Returning because of the fabric wearing holes within two months of wear.

Good to go right out of the box! I ordered my regular size, 8.5, and they fit perfectly! I wore them with a light weight sock for three days straight and no fatigue. Not as stiff as other "M" brand shoes, yet very supportive. They fit a tiny bit narrower than most Keens and still have the roomy toe box. Cushion sole to prevent feeling rocks. Breathable waterproof mesh, yet not "cold" feeling outside in 30 degrees. (no sweaty feet at the end of the day!) Raven/Rose Dawn is great looking with blacks and grays. Slim appearance; not clunky. Looking forward to only one pair of shoes for city sidewalks and scenic trails on an over seas trip :)

I purchased these Keens to replace several pairs of low profile Merrells that disappointed. I am active and walk a lot with our dog thru forests, grass etc. and across all kinds of terrain. Needed something REALLY waterproof. (Merrell’s house ‘waterproofing’ treatment left first my toes then my whole foot wet after going thru damp grass). These shoes were a great surprise! Lightweight, colorful, offerered support & waterproof! They did seem a little narrow when I put on my regular weight hiking socks, but the laces were long enough to accommodate this. A true disadvantage is that my feet sweat after only a short time wearing them—even in colder weather. I may try another innersole to solve this issue. Also, because the fabric in the front of the shoe where the foot bends when walking is not reinforced, I have started to get holes at these spots on both shoes. Ok, I’ve worn them a lot but something to note. In addition, the seam on the inside of the shoe where the stretchy fabric meets the heel cup has started wearing out allowing the plastic to peak through. This has started rubbing on my heel and gives me a blister now. A little duct tape has helped for now. But after saying all this, I recommend the shoes for their overall comfort and waterproof-ness. Maybe mine have just been worn too much!

These are insanely comfy and good-looking for a waterproof hiking shoe! I want to love these shoes 100%, but they make a kind of distracting "crinkling" noise when they bend. I'm almost certain that this is because of the waterproof lining in between the layers if fabric, so it's kind of the price of having a cute but waterproof shoe. Also, this may be strange to say, but the topography of the insole has some ridges etc. that feel kind of irritating on the bottoms of my feet. Maybe I just have "sensitive" feet?

These shoes were so comfortable and I love there look. Unfortunately they started getting holes in them after 4 months and now it has been 6 months and I am ready to throw them away. I walk my dog in the mornings and get in some wet grass. It has a rubber toe and above this there is a clear thin plastic, so I thought they would be perfect. The fabric at the edge of the thin plastic just is not holding up. My right shoe now has 2 good size holes and my left has 1.

Liked the look of the shoe, but the end of the tongue of it was too bulky for my foot and cut into the top of my foot.

I love Keen shoes because of their wide toe box. I was expecting the same from these, but unfortunately they are not the usual wide, rounded toe that most Keen shoes have but rather a shape common to other athletic shoes, wide at the start of the toe box, tapering in toward the front. Uncomfortable fit even tho I ordered half size larger than usual.

I bought the Raven/Rose Dawn. It is definitely a black color. Some pictures looked almost brownish. I think they would be a good looking casual shoe with good grips for light hiking and walking. The waterproof component is good for inclemate weather but may be too warm for hot days.

Excellent shoe for hiking/walking through wet grass and damp terrain. They are very comfortable and fit my somewhat flat, wide foot perfectly with plenty of room in the toe area.

Not for me. Too high and tight around the ankle. I have a "thin & narrow" foot and these rubbed my ankle bone. I normally wear a 9, but in athletic shoes I need a 9.5 or 10. These were just a smidge short, my big toe touched occasionally, but I knew the 10 would be too much. My husband loves his - truly waterproof and comfortable. Alas - not for me.

Great shoes! After disappointments with several pairs of Merrell shoes I gave these a try. Very pleased! Lightweight, not clunky, very important: WATERPROOF (Merrell’s Merrell Dry left my feet wet going thru damp grass!), right amount of arch support. For me these are a great solution for walking the dog in most weather. Two thumbs up!

Love these shoes so far! Will be replacing my Merrell Moabs this winter, after I wear them in Europe for a vacation. They look more tennis-shoe like and are not as bulky.

Purchased for travel and walking the dog on dewy mornings. Attractive and fits true to size, but after trying a short walk the rubber-like material creased inward and rubbed both great toes right at the cuticle. I couldn't wait to take them off, and hope I don't loose my toenails.

The usual Keen advantage for people with wide feet is missing in this shoe. It is very attractive. Perhaps the Terradora that is not "waterproof" will offer more width.

I paid over $100 for these shoes and each shoe has a hole in it already. The holes started a couple of months after I received them. I didn't even wear them every day and I don't wear my shoes that hard. I didn't run in them or do heavy labor or anything like that. Now that I've had these shoes for less than a year, there is a big hole in each shoe in the exact same spot. The holes are located where I would have a bunion, if I had bunions (I don't).
Otherwise, they are comfortable and about as waterproof (minus the hole) as one could hope for in a sneaker. But, they really, really aren't worth the money. Shoes that cost this much shouldn't get holes so easy.

They are not waterproof. I liked the shoes they are very comfortable, but they are not waterproof. I wore them to my son's soccer game today and my socks were soaking. I have only worn them a couple of times in moderate rain, but as soon as you step into wet grass, your feet will get wet just like a regular sneaker. I have had these too long to return, so I am very disappointed as I only wanted them because they are waterproof.

Very Happy with this shoe. Going to do a lot of walking in Vietnam and wanted a very comfortable shoe that was waterproof. Have been wearing them the past few days to break them in before leaving. Discovering they were perfect right out of the box and ready to pack them for the trip. Like that they are lightweight and I also like the look. Would definitely buy again.

I have plantar fasciitis and suffer from foot pain every night just from my sit down job. I was worried about what shoes I was going to wear on my recent trip to Ireland. Someone suggested these Keens and, despite not being the most fashionable shoes, my feet did not hurt any day! They were perfect on the slushy cold weather day too! I would highly recommend them!
