I have been on the Clifton bandwagon since the 3. I definitely like the knit upper better than any previous Clifton model since it gives more of a sock like fit. It doesn't feel quite as softly cushioned as my 4's do though. Maybe it is just a break in issue.

I use them for inside the house
as slippers, replacing Crocs, which I wear outdoors. My wife, several
friends and I are pleasantly surprised by our Gaviotas!

I use the sandals around my house. I have a nagging toe injury. The sandals provide support around the house so I don't have to wear shoes with orthotic inserts. My toe feels like it is finally getting better.

The pads in the balls of my foot have worn thin. My podiatrist recommended Hokas for walking and Crocs for inside the house (hardwood floors). I don't run anymore due to the pain. I've been an 8 1/2 to 9 wide my whole adult life. When I first went in for the Hokas, they used some electronic foot measurer and said I was a 9 1/2 regular. Those Hokas fit fine. The next time I went in, I'm told I'm 9 1/2 wide. I decide to try the Ora Recovery Slide in a 9 wide to replace my old Crocs. I should have gone for the 10 wide. They have a high arch and my foot barely fits in with socks on. Otherwise, very comfortable.

Wow, the arch and toe width are great. I want to have an outside heel support. Right now the pressure from the strap and walking with a slight bow leg- pushes the heel off the foot pad. Just want a better outside support

Feels like walking on clouds! In hot/humid conditions these feel hot, sweaty and a little slippery. After a long day on your feet switching into these is awesome! I only had them a couple of weeks so I cannot speak about durability but I definitely recommend these in general.

Planned on mostly using them as recovery sandals after races or long runs but now that I've worn them around they may also become my every day bumming around sandals too. Amazingly comfortable given how light they are. Would definitely recommend trying them out.

soft and comfortable, easy on the back. Received many compliments when wear out. Many want to know how to get a pair.

Most comfortable pair of sandals I have ever owned. However, after leaving them on the beach in Hawaii to go swimming - they shrunk in the heat to the point that they no longer fit. I will still buy them again but will have to keep that in mind on my next trip to the beach!

I will pick up a second pair at my local running store to wear outside. The first pair I got a few weeks ago, became my new "house shoes". My knees had been bothering me on my hardwood floors lately and they felt so good upon first wearing them at home.....I tossed my slippers into the bowels of the closet.

My husband loves the cushion but has worn the sandals several times to see if they would stretch out a little and they have not. Not wide enough for him.

Saw these advertised online and figured I'd try out for wearing after long runs. They're very comfortable but run a little small. I wear a 11.5 sneaker. Despite the website indicating I should wear a 12 (they don't come in half sizes), the 11 fits much better.

So, they are very comfortable my feet fellalrigjt my back is better when I wear them. The bad they need to be a little wider they are tight but maybe I have to wear them more to stretch them some other than that I am looking at the shoes now

Got them for my husband for Christmas. He wears a 9.5 in Hoka Shoes. I read that they run small, so I ordered him a 10. They were too small and so am now ordering an 11 and crossing my fingers!

Very comfortable, just to expensive. Other brands are just as good for a much more affordable price!

Overall good. Only complaint is it chafes top and sides of feet if you wear for long periods.

I just got them today. They are so soft and cushy! I have had three foot surgeries and it's painful to walk around the house with bare feet. These are perfect to wear around the house and pool. I ordered the navy blue ones and they look nice with denim. I read the reviews and ordered one size smaller than I usually get and the fit is great with no sliding .

Recovery slides are great for just that-- Recovery! Very comfortable with the well known Hoka cushioning, although one small nit-- The shoe/flipflop itself is slightly narrow and not itself designed for folks with wide feet. I usually wear an 11EE in Hoka's line, and got the Recovery Slide in 11, and while it does feel a tad-bit narrow, it's still passable to wear. That aside, it's a great, and comfortable flipflop that is great for wearing around the house, in the locker room, or after a long run.
