Love Hoka. I just wish they would make them more accommodating to wide feet. Even the Wide was still narrow.

The shoe fits well. The insole is slowly forming to the shape of my foot. I do not agree with some of the reviews that led me to purchase this product. The fit is most definitely not wider than expected. I had to reorder a size above my normal size to feel like my toes were not being smashed together.

I wear women's 12.5 to 13. Hoka women's only go to size 11. I used the standard men to women's conversion charts that are readily available which told me to get a men's 10.5. After 30 minutes of wear my feet were burning and rubbing at which point I got on Hoka's website and downloaded their men to women's conversion chart. It is totally different than others by an entire size or more. Here is the Hoka conversion chart. I am sending mine back to order one full size larger in men's. http://www.hokaoneone.com/sizing-information.html

I had knee replacement surgery last year and had looked for a heavily cushioned shoe to replace my Vomero 12s. I can definitely feel a difference with this shoe when running on softer surfaces--grass, rubberized track, wood chip trails, etc.--but if you're running on cement or even road pavement, lower your expectations. It's a good shoe and is better than most that I've tried, but it has limitations.

Enjoying running in the Bondi. Good for my slower runs / base miles.

I like the shoes. The fit is true to size and they are durable. What you see in the picture is what you get.

Excellent cloud like cushioning but the toe box was too narrow for me in an 11EE.

I had these recommended to me by another runner whom is a big guy, he told me that these shoes had an extra thick sole; better suited to absorb the shock of around 250 lbs runners. The first pair of shoes I ordered were too narrow and I got horrible blisters from the first pair I ordered. I sent those back and ordered a size larger. These still seem a bit narrow, but they fit fine, and my run time has improved. So far, so good.

There are what I feel are areas that could improve, but the shoe is clearly well regarded and rightly so. This is by far the plushest maxy I've used, and possibly a winning recovery shoe for many.

Just got the Bondi 5 today as I can't wait for the Stinson 4 to come out. I switched for Bondi to Stinson after I felt uncomfortable with the Bondi 4 and wanted the cushioning. Despite the negative reviews on Stinson 3, I loved them. Went to my running store, they didn't have my size, so they brought out a little bigger shoe....one size bigger than what I usually wear. Incredible! My feet can breathe and they are comfortable! Can't wait for more runs!

The week after I bought these the wide version comes out. The shoe would be perfect in the wide size and if there was an option for high arch people. Some shoes have an orthotic insert made directly for them and customized to the wearer. As long as the wide version stays available, I will be looking to buy these again.

Bondi are my day to day training shoe. As with the Bondi 4 they did take 50 or so miles to break in the arches to my feet. I've only put about 125 miles on them so far so the jury's still out on if the tread life is longer than the Bondi 4.

Just bought these couple days ago and have already run 20 miles in them..fell in love with them already...great padding...can't even feel the hard ground hardly...recommend this shoe to marathoners or ultra runners.

I have developed arch problems. And running on treadmills and paved running and bike paths didn't help .
I read a review in a running magazine and researched the Bondi , and decided to give it a try. The fit was great and I actually increased my stride without any extra effort . The shoe also relieved back complications.
I balked at the price but figured with the return policies what the heck. Best running shoe I have ever purchased .

Pros: Very comfortable, break-in period was 1-2 hours. Room in toe box is generous.
Cons: Flimsy laces. Too many Hoka logos. Treads have too many crevices that trap debris. Dislike the reflective material.

Very comfortable. Like running on a pillow. A little tight in the toe area, however.

I have owned the Bondi 5 for about three months and purchased it while recovering from a severe plantar strain. The shoe felt great while recovering from the plantar strain, but it is too cushioned and with too loose a support for regular walking or hiking.
The good news is that the all black pair is perfect for wearing with casual and even dress wear for the office and an evening out. The Bondi 5 is a great all day shoe, and my feet are never tired at the end of the day. I have two other pair of Hokas (Conquest 3 and Stenson ATR) I wear to the gym and for my daily long walking routine and hiking.

I liked Hokas back in the day for a well-cushioned long run shoe. Unfortunately in recent years Hoka has only built shoes that can work for people with very narrow feet. I am very happy that Hoka now offers the Bondi in a wide version! I've run in these a few times and find them very comfortable and very nicely plush, just like I remember Hokas being. NOW, please build a wide-size trail shoe.
