These offer fantastic support. I am a moderate over-pronator, and these seem to provide the most support I've received in a shoe.

During long runs, the narrow width of the forefoot causes discomfort. I tried the Clifton 4 for more width, but the upper fabric over the forefoot wrinkled enough to cause irritation on the top of my foot at the base of the toes, so returned them for a second pair of Arahis.

Coming from the infinites this was a great stability shoe that felt much lighter and faster without compromising the stability of the infinite. My only complaint is that the size feels small, I ordered using the same size as my old infintes. I went from having a quarter inch of leeway to being right up against the edge, specially on the sides of my foot, I attribute that to maybe a narrower toebox.
I also have a pair of Nike Pegasus 34 that I'll wear when my feet feel slightly swollen from the arahi. Although the pegs are lighter and have a wider toe box, the arahi still feel faster.
I definitely reccommend these shoes, just get a half size bigger than your normal hoka size and you'll be really happy!
For reference, I run every day and average about 70 mi/week on these shoes. Still happy with them 2.5 weeks in

I have been training for the Ironman here in Kona and these are my go to shoes!! My only complaint is that they wear out fast. Since last November I have gone through 5 pairs of Hoka shoes this will be my second purchase of the Ariha

This shoe replaced my tried and true....the Infinite. I always suffered from shin pain and I finally gave Hoka a try two years ago. The cushion of Hokas is second to none. No shin pain for me going forward! The Arahi is working out so far. I have a flat arch with average/slightly below average width. I did size up 1/2 a size for these. I can really feel the rocker system in them. No shoe will ever satisfy everyone, but reading and testing will solve any issues for the avid runner. Good job Hoka!

Toe box could be a bit wider. Will try the Clifton 4 model for better toe box width. Also I have to sling the laces to really tighten the top lace area to prevent heel movement. I feel the heel area should be narrower

The shoe is a solid material and I felt it didn't breath enough. Also the heel was very uncomfortable; it looked like it would be thick and plush but the heel sunk in and caused pain when I ran.

I got this shoe for the Sawtooth Relay. In training, it fit great. It does have a little rub spot on the forefoot. The material is pretty stiff and not super breathable. The cool looking colors on the side scuff off pretty easily. I wore them once casually playing pickleball and they got trashed. Definitely only for running type of shoe. While running they were comfy and smooth and warm.

The right shoe squeaks with every step. I put powder between insole and shoe but it does nothing.

It has a really eye-catching and delightful style. It is pretty comfortable and the cushioning has greatly reduced the pain I was feeling after long walks in my regular trainers.

Coming from a guy who needs to wear a "narrow" in some companies shoes...... I am ordering a 2E wide. The "normal" is just too narrow/tight. Stability is great, lightweight, responsive, cushy shoe.

I love this version of the Hoka's. Toe box is just right. Shoes are lightweight. Cushion, as always, is top of the line! Only interesting thing I noticed is how loud they are on the road. The foam or something in the cushioning makes a rebound type noise that sounds like someone is running behind me. I am a longtime avid runner and this doesn't detract from the awesomeness of these shoes!!!

I run about 5 miles a week. Not much. Then do a lot of cleaning and rearranging furniture. Feet feel great after all day being on them.

I run 10-15 miles a week in an effort to improve my 3 mile time. These shoes offer excellent support and they really corrected my running form. I was say the only down side is the cushioning be so soft that it almost affects impact time on the ground. I plan to train exclusively with these shoes and maybe try a harder sole when I'm trying for a personal best.

Have worn 9 pairs of Hokas the last 3 years, and the Arahi is a difference maker. Excellent offering from Hoka, will buy this model again no question when the current pair runs out. I have approx 150 miles on them and they are great, lightweight, performance oriented, can feel the road, yet plenty of cushion, and not as cushioned as the Conquest or Bondi. One negative with this model, at least for me. I have worn a size 12 on all Hoka shoes, and all running shoes, and the Arahi is a 1/4 size short, and snug/tight through the upper. I have to wear my thinnest sock, which is fine, and this shoe is definitely more snug than a similarly sized Conquest or Bondi. I haven't worn the Arahi on anything longer than 18 miles (Gaviota similar short and snug and with > 20 miles had blister problems I have never had with Conquest or Bondi). Inconsistency on sizes versus other Hokas misses out on the final star. Overall, well done Hoka on this model.

Overall I really like the shoes, they're a smidge tight right above the arch area of the shoe. They also seem to be wearing rather quickly but I'm wearing them on concrete/ pavement at work. Other than those cons I really like these shoes and they don't have quite the Frankenstein high cushioned soles that other hokas seem to look like.

I requested the size 10.5 wide. Received the D. I won't be wearing them very often too tight. They look great though.

I ordered this shoe and was very pleasantly surprised at how much I liked the look and initial feel of the shoe. VERY soft ride for me (I am a heavier runner - 6'1 240) - I do over pronate some but have been turned off by motion control shoes as they are less forgiving. I have worn Hoka's exclusively for the last 3 years and love the products. For my first short trot in the Arahi, I felt the shoe last was a bit narrow and that the support was typical of previous support shoes I've run in. By run 3, the right arch support began to rub uncomfortably creating a sizable hot spot. Also, on the interior of the left shoe above the arch - there is a fabric support strap that detached and bunched up (build quality issue). I worked with a fantastic rep who helped me to return the shoes for this defect and was able to hook me up with a wide. Hoping that this helps. I am and will continue to run in Hokas...one defect doesn't = abandon ship!
