I have been dealing with achilles tendonitis in both legs for over 7 months. The only shoes I could wear that made my ankles and calves feel better had a two inch heel. My athletic shoes seemed to make everything feel worse. A friend told me about Hoka One One and said the shoes were the most comfortable that she has worn and she was suffering from achilles issues as well. Since I have tried EVERYTHING to relieve my issues, I thought I would give them a try. I LOVE these shoes. I have worn them with my orthotics for hours in my house and don't have the aching, stinging, and shooting pain I would get with my other athletic shoes. A miracle! The jury is out on how they will perform with long walks, pickleball, and ultimately a run...it's winter in Michigan! But I am encouraged that this shoe design works better for me than anything else I've tried!

I am a school teacher by day and a fitness instructor in the evenings. I LOVE the Bondi 5. This is the third pair I have bought. I have one pair that I wear to school, I can stand for hours and walk the halls with no pain in my feet, my knees, or my back. I can't say that about all my other shoes. I have another two pairs that I rotate at the gym. I teach Bodypump, kickboxing, and a cardio class, my Bondis do everything I need them to do comfortably. I had a lot of trouble with my right knee a few years back and my doctor recommended Hokas. They are expensive, but in his words, they cost a lot less than a knee replacement. Only brand I will buy now.

The Hoka One One Bondi 5 is heaven for me! I tried many brands pf sneaker and also many types of Hoka One One as well! (Thank you, Zappos, for your Easy Return policy!) I have alot of hardware in one of my legs and ankle. This has caused various types of pain, including arthritis and supination. My physical therapist recommended trying different types of work out sneakers and also no more slippers in the house, but good supportive shoes! Especially when cooking my special pasta sauce in the kitchen on the ceramic floor! And these Hoka Bondi 5 are the BEST! So MUCH padding! So great! So you people out there with hardware in your legs, give these a try! Hoka, please keep making these! They are pricey, but I'm planning on buying two more pairs!

I wouldn't buy anything but Hoka's for athletics. LOVE THESE. I have older Bondi's, and this new style is cooler looking in addition to extraordinary construction.

My girlfriend LOVES her new Bondi 5 shoes. They are the most padded and comfortable athletic shoe she has ever owned. I have bought her ASICS & Nike high end running shoes in the past. However, these new Hoka Bondi 5 shoes are her favorite.

I love these sneakers! I have mucho hardware in one leg and ankle. This has caused arthritis and other ouchies to happen. I go to the gym, trail walk and stand cooking on my hardwood and ceramic tile floors so I needed a shoe that would help me out with my pain! And yes, these shoes do help alot. Of course, I still have challenges, but these help alot! My physical therapist guided me along! I also bought a pair of Altra, but mu feet hurt in them more so back they went!

I have problems with my feet hurting all the time, and these shoes are amazing. By far the best shoes I've ever bought, and well worth the price.

These were a gift for my wife who enjoys running after work. She fell in love with them on her first run. She said they are the most comfortable running shoe she has ever run in.

These are the only shoes that I can wear to walk my dogs!! I suffer from PF and wouldn't be able to do,it without these shoes. I have relatively high arches, so I do wear a good insert; its a must for me. I recently bought 2 new pairs as I heard they're discontinuing Bondi 5s to bring in the B6 :( They're expensive but this particular style works so perfects for me!! Good toe space, comfortable, great cushion.

I like them so much that I have not yet decided whether I am wearing these or Cliftons for my marathon so I brought both with me! Great cushioning for my long runs and still light!

I needed a bit of extra room in the toe box to accommodate some toe protectors to heal a bunion and keep my small toes straight. This shoe initially felt a bit wide in the heel, but I soon became comfortable with it. Now it's one of my most favorite shoes! I rotate these with another pair of Bondi 5s and a pair of Stinson ATR4s. I probably would choose one of my more snug fits for a hike, but I've put a lot of easy pavement and light trails on these shoes and really love them. Also, they seem to clean up a little easier than my fabric Hokas.
