Many of the reviews claimed said that the toe box was deep, but I did not find that as so. I have a slight hammer toe so this shoe will not work for me too bad. Maybe the wider width will work

This is my second pair of the Hoka brand. The shoes do have a stiff platform which may or may not appeal to some. I use them for walking/jogging and like the support they provide.

This shoe got rid of 95% of my foot pain. I have bought 4 pair now, and 3 pair for my husband. The only trouble is that the last pair, black, came apart in the tongue. The rubber section came unglued from the tongue. When I tried to get a replacement, all the size 11s were sold out. I wrote to Hoka and they said to mail the shoe to them for replacement, but not sure they have any more of the black ones, either. It's not clear what happened to the dark blue ones, either. Those were my favorites but they seem to not be making them anymore. They were the most low-key in color, except for the black. And these are so comfortable, you'll want to wear them all the time, so you need some that are more subdued in color also.

I have VERY flat feet, severe bunions, and a (hibernating for now) morton's neuroma on my left foot. I purchased these because a friend recommended them. He said Hokas are like "walking on a cloud." I agree, they are awesome, but... I need more arch support. That said, I wore my shoes for 4 days at Disneyland with one prior day of break-in. It was the first time I did not need to swap for my cushy flip flops on day 2/3/4. I had zero pain during my trip. I love mine so much I purchased a pair for my 12yo daughter. I will definitely purchase another pair. I will probably add an orthotic for arch support, over-pronation correction, but other than that, I am very satisfied!!!

I originally complained about the shoe but the longer I keep it on the better it is starting to feel. I do think it needs a deeper foot bed but I'm getting used to it. I have the insole in on my right foot and out of the left. Tomorrow I will try adding the left insole back in. They really are becoming as comfortable to me as being barefoot. I have put on a thicker sock then I ever wore with shoes so that might be helping to break it in. The length still seems a tad too long but that is fine. I have changed my mind and decided that Yes, I will recommend to a friend.

I have purchased several styles of Hoka OneOne, which was recommended for plantar fasciitis. I have had my Bondi 5 shoes for 3-4 months. The are super comfortable, and I walk home from work 3.6 miles 3-5 times per week. This style hasn't lasted as long as other styles unfortunately. The blue rubber on the bottom of the shoe is separating from the rest of the sole. It also feels a little clumsy due to the thickness on this inside of the sole near the big toe joint. For comfort, they cannot be beat, but I wouldn't buy them again. They should last longer than they are despite the fact that I wear them constantly. I hope the Bondi 6 will be a better designed and more durable shoe. I have recommended Hokas to friends, and we love them, but we don't 100% love the Bondi 5.

Kudos to Zappoes. They are the best online company to work with. I purchased Hoka Bondi 4 a year ago for running. I do Sprint Triathlons and it was time to get a new pair of running shoes. At first i ordered the Gaviota. They fit very different from the Bondi. As a previous reviewer wrote my toes did go numb after about 2 miles in to a run. They were so mush more narrow than the Bondi 4. So I ordered the Gaviota in a wide and my toes went numb as well. Ugh. Because i so loved the Bondi i decided to try the Bondi 5 and ordered a medium width and a wide width. I tried to medium first and my run went great. Zappoes is so fantastic to work with and so helpful with my returns of 3 pair of Hoka's until I found the pair that worked best for me. I originally was referred to the Hoka brand through my Physical Therapist for right left knee pain post runs. I can say that my knee's and hip's do not ache post runs. That is amazing, who knew Hoka's brand shoes could do that. No need to take any Tylenol post run. I'm 64 5' and 130 lbs. So if one pair or style of Hoka's don't work just keep trying and I'm sure you will find the one that best fits your needs. Again, thank you Zappoes!

This shoe is amazing! Great comfort for after my heel surgery. I cant walk around without them! There is some wear on the side already where the color has flaked off, which is a bummer. Ive only had them for a month. But that is cosmetic and to me, doesnt matter as much as comfort. I work in PT and recommend these shoes to all my patients that struggle with foot problems. Great shoe!

This shoe has great support. Doesn't seem like it would wear out quickly, I purchased it to see if it would help with my capsulitis ~ it did not. Still searching for the right shoe...

I was very impressed with the cushion inside while I was running on my treadmill. I purchased a wide but it's not quiet wide enough for me especially after running for an hour. I can feel hot feet or sometimes burning sensation so I have to take it off immediately. Other than that, it's a good design, it's well made, very stable and I will certainly recommend it.

I have been having a lot of problems with my hips and these shoes came highly recommended to me. The left shoe felt great but the right shoe felt like something was jabbing the top of my foot so I am returning them. They are super expensive so I was expecting more. May try again to see if it was a defect in the shoe

I wear my Hoka's to work. I'm in the medical field and they are great because I'm on my feet 12hrs a day but on the Hoka website where I purchased the shoes, the shoelaces where green and I received blue shoelaces, that was the only thing that I didn't like about the shoes.

Bought these because pregnancy rendered my old pair too small and narrow. I ordered a half size up in wide, but this shoe still feels like a regular width shoe. I'm hoping that they stretch out some and it gives me a little more room - I've learned the hard way that wearing shoes that are too narrow doesn't do well by the nerves in the feet. Aside from the width, the shoes are definitely comfortable, and the cushion is nice.

The shoes are great. In the picture it shows bright green laces. However they come with blue laces with a green stripe. When I notified Hoka Customer Service they were totally unaware. Gave me a another company where I could buy a pair of laces. Wasn't a deal breaker but the bright laces would be better

I love the plush feel of this shoe and the great colors. The only thing I would say needs improving is the tongue. It's rather stiff, so it rubs on the top of my foot where you tie the shoe. I've tried to loosen the tie but then the tongue slides left or right. I can say it's getting better with each wear (or my foot is just getting used to it)

Arg! I wanted these shoes to work so badly. There are so few cushioned shoes that don’t look like they’re meant for old ladies. The cushion, width, and flex was all exhilarating. The lack of larger sizes was the problem. I am sometimes a size 11 but clearly needed a size 11.5 or 12 which Hoka doesn’t make. What a disappointment. Hoka One One, Please make a size 12!
