I have enjoyed running more than I have in the past with these shoes. They are true to form and have great support and cushion!

I have been wearing Asics GT wearer but was looking for a change and more cushion. Very happy with the Gaviota and had no issue adjusting from my old Asics.

These shoes are perfect for me. I am no longer a runner, however I have many old ankle and foot injuries that continue to bother me and have prevented me from doing many activities. After wearing these shoes for 5 days, I noticed I was able to spend far more time on my feet and move freely. I work my dog in agility and have noticed a huge change in my handling skills while running a coarse. I have already ordered a 2nd pair so that I have a backup.

I bought this product because I was told that they would help my aching feet, that the arch would help my flat feet and my heals. I was very disappointed. Even with putting my inserts in the shoe my feet hurt so bad that I could not wait to get home to take them off. I was really looking forward to my feet not hurting as much anyway. I would recommend them to someone who's feet are not as bad off as mine.

Use these for walking outside, very stabilizing and confirmable, lots of cushion to protect from walking on cement. Also wearing orthotics in them, great fit.

I bought these after a friend of mine recommended the Clifton's., she's had knee and back issues. I read the reviews and based on my foot type bought these. I have been a runner and have taught fitness classes for 17 years. I currently teach high impact aerobics classes and some floors aren't as forgiving as others. I've also had issues with plantar fasciitis. These shoes have been amazing! I ordered a half size smaller as suggested by the Hoka sizing guidelines, they also were a little tight at first but I narrowed the laces and as my shoes adjusted to my foot type started tighthening them up. They have saved my feet and joints! I will be buying these again! Loved the memory foam and responsive insole. I've recommended Hoka shoes to my fellow fitness instructors and they are now wearing them as well to save their feet and joints.

I was very skeptical about purchasing Hoka shoes at first. I live my life on the fringe group of the ultra trail running community and those crazy people swore by them, so I figured I would give Hoka a try. I have arthritis in my right knee, but either walk/Run/trail run almost every single day. These shoes are everything they promise to be- lightweight, cushioned, and supportive. I purchased the Gaviota shoes based upon another review that was written, and I would absolutely recommend them. Even with my wide-ish foot, they fit perfectly.

I have hallux rigidus in my toes from osteoperosis and arthritis in my knees, in addition to recurring hip bursitis. These shoes do a wonderful job aligning my hips/knees/feet and take pressure off my toes. They are extremely comfortable and I'm very happy I found them.

I'm a nurse on a very busy out-patient unit and after a 10-12 hour shift, my feet still feel comfortable!

Like most that buy Hoka, I have issues with my forefoot. I purchased Speed Instinct trail runners and they are so cushy and comfortable (although I don't love the style). I workout in them and have no pain (bunion, arthritis, neuroma)! I purchased the Gaviota in hopes of the same but was disappointed. Don't get me wrong, these are very comfortable with lots of cushion and an open toe box BUT the difference is the cushioning is much firmer. The cushion at the ball of the foot is too firm and slightly aggravates the neuroma and makes my little toes go a bit numb. I wanted to suck it up and keep them but that would be dumb. Sending these back to try again...

I walk 3-5 miles per day. I find these shoes very comfortable and supportive. I am now recovering from micro tears in my Achilles' tendon, these shoes have helped me to begin my walking program again.

I use this for walking right now. I have an injury and it is like walking on a cloud. My daughter has bad feet and is a nurse in the ER. I bought her a pair.

I use these shoes for cross fit like classes. Love them!! I have arch issues and the support had been amazing! My knees are also not in the best shape, so the impact cushioning has been a huge help with our box jumps.

These shoes are fabulous! Bought my size and they're a perfect fit, even for my skinny heel. Also very easy on my bunion. Wish I'd known about them before this.

I purchased this shoe after reading another review. I am trying to get back into exercise by starting to walk/jog. I have plantar fasciitis and sometimes have difficulty finding a good shoe. My second day wearing them I had walked 4 miles before I realized it! Super comfortable offer great support and cushion. I purchased a second pair to have a pair for work.

The shoes felt great for the first couple of days, however my legs started hurting on about the fourth day. I almost fell because of the heel being so high. I am hoping to try some of your shoes where the heel is not quit so high. The price is a little high so that's it not appealing.

Hoka One One is one of the few shoe brands that I can wear, as I have to wear straight last, supportive shoes due to multiple foot fusions and custom orthotics. This is one of a few models that comes in wide, which I also need. They shoes look sharp (I think this color combination is the only one that comes in a wide width), provide good stability, and are very comfortable. I don't run, because I can't, so these are my everyday shoe. I used to wear the Hoka Constant, which was discontinued some years ago, and this model seems to be the closest thing to a replacement. I am very happy with this brand. I also wear the low and mid hiker made by Hoka and am equally thrilled with them as well.
I'd also recommend:

Even though I loved the product I couldn't buy it-in men or women size- and I tried them both. There are some of us out there with not just the need for a wider shoe, but also a need for a shoe that has enough height inside the shoe to add a custom orthotic insert to a cushion that offers no arch support as the orthodic is our arch support. There's plenty of us out there and our feet are screaming for someone to make a perfect shoe-the Hero! And except for the inability to add that extra layer in the shoe, your shoes would have been true winners!
