It takes getting used to wearing them. My heels feel sore when just standing. Good shoes for being active.

I liked these shoes initially. Because I'd never worn this brand before, and I wanted to make sure the shoes were broken in, I started with a few short runs (1-2 miles) and they felt good. As soon as I did a run longer than 3 miles, I started getting numbness in my left foot during the run. Based on the reviews, it looks like I might not be the only one who had this problem. I tried them on 2 separate occasions for 4-5 mile runs and had the same problem. I even tried loosening the laces to the point where I was getting way too much movement in the shoe. For reference, I have a narrow foot (can sometimes buy narrow width in non-athletic shoes) and I believe the sizing of the shoe was correct. Otherwise the shoes were very light and comfortable, although they seemed to have more of a heel drop than other brands. But since I can't use them for runs longer than 1-2 miles, I'll have to return them.

I loved this shoe, but when I walked with it around the house, my toes felt like it was clutching to the shoe tightly, so it was returned. Further walking would cause problems, I'm thinking it was too big of a shoe at the toe space.

Having tired of New Balance, I so wanted to like these but they were painful. Had I worn them more than an hour and a half, I'd have ended up with blisters on my pinky toe or worse. I bought them in wide because I have a somewhat wide toe spread and take a 9 wide in NB. I am not a runner, but doctors have repeatedly told me to buy running shoes because I have bad knees and feet. The top of the sneaker rubbed my pinky toe badly on my left foot but not on my right, which is odd because my right foot is slightly bigger. I always take a 9 wide in sneakers and although 9 did fit, they were not wide enough and the fabric across the toe box area hits way too low. The middle part of the shoe is tight and uncomfortable--another surprise for a supposedly wide sneaker. My feet are not all that wide. Needless to say, I'm disappointed and should have paid attention to the handful of reviews that mentioned some of these issues. I'm returning them.

Every time I run in my HOKA I get a blister on the metatarsal area. I have started running with inserts in my shoes which helps. Disappointed that these shoes are not more comfortable for me.

Ordered the hot pink Arahi. Loved the design and got tons of compliments on them. First that's ever happened on a Hoka! Super comfortable to wear. That being said, I ended up returning them. First, the hot pink color on sides of soles started all flaking off. That's inexcusable in shoes less than a month old in this price range. Second, I needed a more plush shoe after all. It was heartbreaking and I tried. But I needed more cushioning.

I bought these in a size 8 when I am normally a size 7.5 based on the reviews of having a narrow toe area. The reviews were right the toes are narrow on these shoes however, they worked just fine sizing up half a size.

I bought these shoes for road running, and needed something built for 8+ mile runs. As someone with narrow feet and an arch, these for some reason gave me the worst blisters on my archesnot just once, but three times. I kept letting myself heal and tried to give them another go. It started with my right foot only, then both feet were experiencing the worst pressure points on my inside arch. These were otherwise, true to size and responsive.

I tried on a friend's Hokas in a size 8.5 and they felt amazing. Her pair were the Cliftons. When I saw this pair of Hupanas on sale, I jumped at the chance. Sadly, when they arrived they were WAY too tight. Silly me for assuming a size 8.5 would be the same across all Hoka shoes. These have to go back. And now I am unsure about trying Hokas again. They were pretty though

Heels slip, shoe rubs on the top of my foot, despite shoving a tennis ball in it to stretch it out.

These shoes fit long and narrow. I would need to go down a 1/2 size to get the proper length, but up at least a 1/2 size to get the right width. The material is very stiff feeling. This is not a shoe I would run in, but would've worn for casual wear if it had fit. I don't understand why Hoka is getting away from the roomy toebox they were known for.

I loved the look of this shoe and REALLY wanted it to work on my foot, but it was too soft under my orthotic and my feet started hurting within an hour or so. My 2 star rating is not meant as a criticism, the shoe is nice and well done. It just has a limit for who can wear it.

Too narrow and no cushion at all. I wanted to keep it but it was just too uncomfortable. i will exchange it with either Bondi or Elevon.

The black with the blue bottom does not look like the picture. The blue bottom is sky blue but the picture makes it look brighter and more like turquoise. Also, it was way too narrow in middle and towards the foot. It hurt so bad I had to go to another store and buy a pair to wear for the day just to get them off my feet.

I was disappointed with the fit of these shoes. I wanted to like them, because they are so much nicer looking than the other Hokas, but the eyelets in the top of the shoes poked into my feet and the uppers were stiff and uncomfortable.
