Really love these shoes. They fit a little wide.

I have super overpronated feet, so it’s difficult to find shoes that work for me. I’m also a nurse and many days I don’t sit down for 13 hours and can walk 18,000 steps. Finding a pair of shoes that is supportive and stable, and also lightweight is hard. I’d never seen the Hoka brand, and holy cow do I love Zappos for the ability to try on and purchase or return shoes so easily! These shoes felt very comfortable when on. They’re quite substantial (as in the sole of the shoe is enormous!) but very lightweight. They feel super cushy inside as well and it seems that as long as the material holds up, these shoes would be great for standing for long periods. I’m sending them back, sadly. For a few reasons. First off, they’re super squeaky. I’m not sure the material, but they squeak so loudly on my tile floor here at home!!!! I would hope this fades with time, but 18,000 steps worth of squeak is too much. Secondly, the lacing system doesn’t allow for a super tight lace-up either. My feet are super flat, but when I’m not stepping on them they’re narrow. So I need a shoe I can really lace well. And lastly, while I’m sure it’s fine for “regular” feet, I could really feel the edge of the insole on the inside of my foot. I know that it would get super irritating after wearing. Probably ok for the mild to moderate pronator though. Overall, seems like a good shoe, just not right for me.

i ordered this shoe for indoor gymnasium use (aerobic/cardio). The shoe is fabulous and I love it, except the sole has zero grip. It was literally like I was ice skating and the floor was so slippery. I wish they made this same shoe, but with even a bit of sole traction, even the slightest would be nice. Instead, the sole reminds me of when rubber gets old, it's just hard, dense and smooth.

I like the sneaker and actually wear it for work. I would like to try a style with more cushioning, however. This is my first purchase of a HOKA sneaker.

Definitely had a lot of cushion but not enough arch support for my foot. Also, my toes felt numb even after loosening the laces. I think they would be a good value but just did not work for me. I really liked the look of them and they are very light despite how much cushion they have.

Kind of "clunky" the bottom of the shoe is HUGE.

When they changed the Cliftons I switched over to these. A very light shoe with a responsive feel to it. I like these a lot and would buy another pair. Only con is that the shoelaces are pretty short and make it difficult to lace how I normally like.

I like the Arahi. I was last a Challenger customer though & do like the medial to heel support better. I knew the shoes had different qualities, but chose not to get the Challenger this year after reports of the sole peeling away from the shoe after minimal usage. I had heard this from on-line reviews, as well as store salespeople whom I had checked with - not good. There needs to be more rigid QA testing.

These were well worth it for my arthritis pain. The traction is wonderful, as i am a swim coach and on a pool deck all the time. I was worried about using these for cross training at the gym, but so far I am thoroughly impressed!! I also get compliments on them wherever I go!

Am returning these as I don't think I can get used to the rolling sensation. Also they were a bit tight with socks.

It felt like my feet had to work way to hard. Couldn't find contact with the ground. Exchanging them for a different style.

This is my second pair of Hoka One One. I have the Clifton that I use for the treadmill and elliptical and the Arahi for weight training. I am new to Hoka One One and absolutely love the cushioning that these shoes provide. The colors are fun and it makes me want one in every shade. I work out daily in a home gym complete with everything and find great support and comfort especially while on the elliptical for an hour. I have never worn a workout shoe with such great support and have every step feel as if you were walking on feathers. I heard about this brand from my podiatrist. He has it on his list of shoes that he recommends for sports, working out and daily comfort. I highly recommend these shoes and encourage any person who works out to give them a try. Will not be disappointed. Also great for everyday wear.

These shoes are very comfortable but incredibly squeaky! They are fine when I'm running (and wearing headphones) but walking they are embarrassing!

Nice cush, good detectable arch support. Seemed narrow for a woman's 11 wide. Returned because too narrow.

This sneaker fits in every area of my foot. I have a high instep and this wraps around with comfort. It takes a bit to get used to the bounce. I can get pain from neuromas and DO NOT feel any of it wearing these! GREAT BRAND!

I have a torn plantar plate. My doctor said they would stabilize my foot. Because I am an A width, they don't stabilize as much as I would like. Even with my custom made orthotic my shoes are too wide.

I run marathons, and I decided to give these a try, mostly because my legs were needing more and more recovery time after each race or long distance run. But my legs feel fresher every run. The only thing I had to get use to was the height of the shoe and how it slightly changed the way I run/use my legs-not in a bad way-but more efficient I suppose?

To start, I bought the wrong shoe for my needs. I am a distance runner, with a bad overpronation. There is so much cushion I felt like I was 'sinking' into the pavement, and couldn't take my next stride quick enough. The Arahi is a great shoe, but I had to return it and go back to the Bondi 5.
