Thrilled that shoe has stood up to my gym intense workouts from burpees to plate push to box jumps to 100 yd sprint burners, rope weaves and kettle bells to TRX and weighted up downs, core and everything else So happy to have my Hupana

Love these shoes! I decided to try these after getting terrible shin pain in my old running shoes and wow! What a difference. They are super light weight which is unexpected from a shoe with so much cushion! They don't feel as bulky as other Hokas I have tried on in stores. I'm so glad I took a leap and decided to try these!

I LOVE these shoes. Because of my pronation and stability needs, I've always worn Asics or Brooks. The last few years, both companies shoes never feel like "new, cushy, comfy" when I buy them. They feel like prisons for my feet. I finally went for the gusto and tried on a pair of Hokas. They were amazing in the store. They felt like a cushy cloud of bliss on my feet, but how would they actually perform? I was very nervous to invest, but I'm happy to say that they are the BEST RUNNING SHOES I've ever owned. Hands down. I'm a convert. I'm a heavy-footed runner. I'm a recreational runner--training for half-marathons mostly. I've been running for 15+ years and I've never had such a comfortable and stable shoe that makes running longer distances a pleasure. I actually bought another pair of shoes, to ease myself into the Hokas, or for main use if the Hokas were not stable enough. I'm taking those back to exchange for another pair of Hokas. I can't say enough good things.

I tried Hoka's for the first time and the Arahi is a great shoe. It provides enough stability without being stiff. It is also a very light shoe, the lightest I have. It is really a great shoe and I will be training a lot in it. The colours are nice and the pink is really a good looking shoe! Just one thing: please ship to Canada! ;)

Thank you for finally making a shoe that is comparable to your discontinued Stinson Tarmac. You lost me as a customer for quite a while as none of your other styles were roomy enough, especially when my feet swell after busy 12 hour shifts as a nurse or when my plantar fasciitis flares up. These are so comfortable, plenty of room, my feet did not hurt at all, even after two 12 hour shifts in a row. That hasn't happened since you stopped making the Tarmac. I highly recommend the Arahi Wide Width.

I purchased the Bondi 5 first because of the plush insoles but they were a little too plush and I needed more support. So I purchased the Arias and have fallen in love. I'm a big fan of the support and upper breathable parts of the shoes. I'm ordering another pair so I don't wear these out. Just did a 94 floor hike in these babies the first day I got them and didn't need to break them in. I'm a happy camper!

I'll admit it, I didn't want to love Hokas. I've been dealing with some type of injury for the past two years- shin splints, calf cramps, arch pain, hamstring issues, IT band... Just when I think I'd overcome one issue, something new would pop up. I took six months off from running, and slowly started working up my mileage, went from the Asics GT-2000 to the Kayano because the latest version was too narrow and I wanted more cushioning. My calf/shin pain would only flare up occasionally, but developed pain in the joint of my big toe. Switched to the Saucony Hurricanes and it subsided a bit, but not completely (though the shin/calf problems subsided). I finally brought it up to one of my running coaches, who is also the owner of my LRS. She recommended the Arahi--even after I screamed, "please no Hokas!" I took one look at it and didn't hate it. I tried on a size too big and they seemed promising so I agreed to let her order a pair in my size to try. They arrived the day I had a scheduled 4 mile run with my training group, leaving from the store. I wear a six in most running shoes (normally a size 5 in non-athletic shoes) and they fit well. Maybe a tad bit long, but it gives me the option to wear a more cushioned sock when it is colder and a thin sock when it is warm and my feet swell a little more. So I went on the run... With each step, I kept expecting my toe joint to hurt. I'd get to that point in my stride when the pain should have hit and it just didn't! No pain! I couldn't believe it. Two days later, I saw a podiatrist. As I shared my woes, I started share my recent experience with my new running shoes and pulled my Hokas out of my bag. He interrupted and told me that he was about to recommend that I get Hokas! He recommended that I continue to run in them before considering a custom orthotic. After a few weeks, I'm still running pain free. I'm definitely a Hoka convert. In fact, I just received my second pair in another color so I can rotate my shoes.

If I use these on 10+miles, I get blisters on my left foot. I think it's not so much the design as how the design works with my foot that I had bunion surgery on. I wear them for my daily 3-5 mile run and they are perfect.

Wore these today for the first time! Loved them. A couple blisters but that happens whenever I change shoes. These are great!!! True to size, comfortable, supportive!

Would love to see these available in more solid colors, such as a blue to go with blue jeans, and would love to see them in teal also

This is my 2nd pair of Hokas. Last year I tried the Bondi model after suffering from plantar fasciitis. Bought this pair 3 days ago, took them out of the box, and ran a half marathon with no problems! These shoes are much lighter than I expected, and were incredibly comfortable. There were no sore spots, blisters, or any other areas of discomfort with these shoes! I plan to buy another pair to save as a spare. Well done, Hoka!

I stand most of the day and I walk 3 miles a day. I have tendon and arch issues in my right foot and was constantly fighting foot pain. I wore these shoes one day and my foot pain decreased by 75% at the end of the day when I took my shoes off. I don't think I'll ever switch to a different shoe.

I call these shoes my Magic Shoes because without them I couldn't have run my races! I was wearing a shoe that was not appropriate for me (thanks alot Dicks Sporting). Four days before I was to run a 10k (Saturday) and a Half (Sunday), I couldn't run more than 4 miles without my shins and the outside of my calf hurting so bad I cried. After walking home the last mile I made the call to speak with a company to be analyzed. I wore my current running shoes in (limping because of the pain) and after chatting for a bit and analyzing my walk and run he immediately brought me these shoes. I'm not going to lie, at first I was not happy because they looked so... chunky. However, the moment I stood up in them I was AMAZED! There was no pain! NONE! I walked around and he had me run and I had the hugest smile because the comfort was like nothing I have had in a running shoe before. These shoes are FANTASTIC! I immediately did a short run in them when I went home and was so excited!!! I ran my races and had THE shortest recovery time for my shins/calves than ever before! These will forever be my running shoe! (I have the Hoka Arahi)

I run in Stinsons, they are perfectly cushiony but cause achilles pain when I run up hills. But these Hapuna's are perfect in they provide the cushion but are light-weight and allow better/freer ankle motion. I also just got them the day before a trip to Mexico and used them for the first time walking around the Mayan ruins and running up the Ek Balam pyramid. They felt amazing from the moment I wore them. They are still covered in a bit of Mayan dust but the black and white are super good looking shoes and my husband just bought a pair because he liked the way mine looked. They are my go to shoes now for everything.

This is my 5th pair of Hokas. All of my other pairs (Stintsons and Cliftons) I've used for running. I tore my ACL and MCL and post surgery/rehab caused me to re-evaluate my exercise routine. Now I walk and do yoga, but continue to love my Hokas. I was thrilled to see this Hupana, a lightweight option perfect for around town and atheleisure. I wanted something less "thick" to wear with cute ankle jeans, skorts, etc. These are PERFECT! I love the black. Cute, versatile-They're the exactly what I was looking for. I would be thrilled to see a white/cream/light gray version. I would buy it in a heartbeat. The only thing to note before buying is that for me this show ran slightly short. All of my other Hokas are straight up 10s. I had to return this for a 10.5 because it was just a smidge short on my toes. The 10.5 are a dream; I wore them all day and felt like I was walking on air the entire day. I really hope to see more colors soon.

I am a runner/triathlete ( marathoner and Ironman). I have run in almost every shoe out there, always looking for the golden one. This is my favorite shoe by far. The Bondi was my favorite, but three weeks ago I got these and have been using them ever since. From the moment I put them on I knew I would love them. I need a stability shoe and most stability shoes are heavy and lack cushioning. Many Hoka's ( like the Clayton) offer cushioning but my feet move around in them- too much wiggle room. But these are a gem. They hold my ankle in place, and they offer just the right amount of cushioning. I wear a size 7.5- and I bought these in an 8. Happy feet, happy running.

This is a very comfortable shoe - it is a shoe for people who need a stability shoe (for people with flat feet who overpronate) so it would never work for the first reviewer, I don't think it's really fair that she gave it a bad review. It's one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I only gave 4 stars for style because I would have preferred a more neutral color, but I love my shoes!
