The material feels a little stiffer on these then in the suede version. I am thinking of ordering a pair of the suede in a different color. They are also a bit more masculine than the classic Toms. I felt mixed about returning them, but was being conservative with my shopping. :)

Fit true to size for me. There was a bit of a break in period. Had some rubbing on my heal at the very top of the shoe as well as in the of my foot. But this only happened on one foot so maybe just me. Footbed is very cushy and comfortable. Bought them to do a lot of walking but I'm afraid there may not be enough support for that. Although my daughter wore Toms (not this particular shoe) on a 10 day holiday-- tons of walking and they were just fine for her-- but her feet are 28 years younger than mine:)

Great Toms shoe! Right out of box felt comfortable and true to size. I like the additional cushioning in this shoe compared to my old canvas slip-ons. Would love if Toms could add just a bit of arch support then I would give an overall 5 stars!

I normally wear a size 9, ordered them, slightly too roomy, love the style and comfort, will order 8 1/2 and hope they fit better.

These are comfortable. The sole feels a little slick on hard floors. Maybe it will scuff with wear. I didn't care for the style though. Can't tell if they would be better a half size smaller too.

My size 8 was too long (though the width seemed right): I'm going to try the 7 1/2 and hope for the best. My daughter found the 9 to be too small for her, so I don't know whether the larger sizing runs smaller or her feet have grown. The taupe suede is a bit shaggy looking but there is a generous amount of padding in the bottom.

Shoes fit well and are comfortable. Nice, quick slip on option. Unfortunately, within 3 weeks the fabric started pulling away from the rubber. I wasn't wearing them "hard", either, just around the house and outside for normal shopping, walking, etc.

These are so cute but I'm confused about sizing. I used to wear a 6.5 in TOMS and now I can't even fit my foot in a 7. I think their sizes have changed.

this is a very cute shoe; I wanted to keep it but every time I tried it on I couldn't accept the fact that it has absolutely NO support. For anyone who needs a cushy shoe, this won't make it. Thank heavens for Zappos and the easy returns after holding on to a purchase for awhile.

I wanted to like one of the Toms slip ons/espadrilles but tried three without success. Deconstructed Alpargata in Chambray Blue Slub: nice light denim, can remove the insole and put your own in but with Toms insole and mine, couldn't keep heal from slipping. Someone mentioned the sole being slippery and I can see how that could be a problem (weird but true!). I liked the jute on the side of the sole but nice that it's not the actual bottom (like some espadrilles). I could see potentially the shoe rubbing on the top too. Returned. Also tried and returned Sunset in Shade Heritage Canvas (too small) and Mist Slub Chambray (almost kept, using my insole, but heal kept slipping).

These in black are not as comfortable as other toms. No arch support.

Really wish they made 11.5! 12 is too big and 11 is too small. Was very comfortable and soft. Just wish they'd fit me!

It was good just the only problem not even a month in they started to unstick from the sole

really cute shoes, but the canvas is so stiff and shoes so tight, I had to return them. I wear a medium width, but these shoes are very tight on my feet - both length and width. When I tried 1/2 size bigger, they were too large The same Toms were purchased by me at an earlier date, they fit fine so I'm disappointed.

Super cute shoe. Unfortunately, I’ve only worn them a handful of times and the trim is already separating from the shoe. The trim is also beginning to fray in a couple different areas. At this rate, I'm not sure if this pair will even last till the end of the summer—and it's only mid-July. Not nearly as durable as the other TOMS I've owned. In regards to the fit, the deconstructed alpargata has a piece of tight elastic hiding underneath the tongue of the shoe. In comparison to the classic fit where you can basically slip them on, the elastic band makes it a little more tedious to get the shoe on. The comfort is what you'd expect from TOMS, however, I've noticed that same elastic band can begin to aggravate the top of the foot after a few hours of wearing.

I love TOMS and wanted to love these but they just were not an attractive shoe.

Very pretty shoes but very uncomfortable, the stitching over the top rubs on my toes and gives be blisters. The sole is very comfortable but the stitching kills it for me :(

I’ve had this exact pair of shoes last year from Nordstrom and they were way softer suede. These weren’t bad for the price they were 52 versus 78 so maybe that’s why the suite is a little rough. Lesson learned.

I love these shoes and they are extremely comfortable- but the description is misleading. It says that the name of the color will tell you the material the shoe is made of. The ones I selected and purchased are "saffron hemp" ... leading me to believe the shoe is made of hemp. And while the bulk of it is, the pull tab on the back of the shoe is clearly leather. I don't wear leather, and was very disappointed to have to send these back. I usually have no complaints about Zappos, but in this case they need to be a little more specific in their description! I sent them back and ordered a different color that doesn't contain any leather.

I listened to the reviewer who said that these shoes ran smaller than regular Toms and ordered up 1/2 size. Maybe I got a weird pair but these were too big and not as comfortable as my other Toms. I practically walked out of them. Bummer. They have to go back.

Cute shoes but run big. I'm a size 11 and these run big and unfortunately there is no 10 1/2 in Toms.

First of all, I loved the slub chambray color and was excited to wear them. But after only a couple of hours of mostly indoor walking the shoes gave me blisters on the sides and heel on both feet. The material is stiff and the elastic band over the top of the foot is very tight. This pair is going back. I have this style in both black suede and birch New buck, they are very comfortable and have no issues at all!!!

Toe is too pointy, more green than I thought they would be. Also a little wide.

Cute shoes. They are narrow and very hard to impossible to get on. Even though you can remove the insole and replace it with your own still makes them very difficult to get on.
