Not sure why this style has changed but this shoe is not comfortable! Very tight across the toe box and I have a narrow foot. Disappointed

They do not support my ankles. Weaker support then original Gel Resolution 7
I have worn those for 10 Yrs. Went back to original. Love the new ones for clay. Amazing. Why can't u do more blue, gray and black colors for Women? Thanks

I love ASICS shoes and will continue to buy them forever more. They are usually comfortable and stylish. I have a high arch and ASICS are the only brand that I've found that consistently take it into account. I am a big walker so go through up to two pairs per year.
This is only the second pair I haven't liked in over 15 years of buying this brand. The material is a weird sort of plastic that wasn't comfortable on my feet. It felt heavy and awkward. Additionally, the shoe itself was designed in a way that made my foot look really long and wide, very unattractive for a woman. I asked my 21 year old son what he thought. He said, "OH NO, MA! You can't wear that!" His response solidified my thoughts.
I returned this pair and immediately ordered a different style (again through Zappos) that I love.

WOW these are uncomfortable. Hurt my feet the second I tried them on. Decided to go ahead and try to break them in by playing tennis a few times in them. Awful. There's absolutely NO "give." Stiff as a board. Gotta buy a different pair.

With all the plastic material Asics Uses to build a shoe, is required a new sizing pattern as shoes do not fit the same way and the plastic cause awful sweaty feet

Loved, loved loved Asics Revolution Tennis shoes until the 7s. There is no wide version and the tor box is just too narrow.
First time I am in search of another brand tennis shoe.... I wear Asics for my running shoes as well.

I have a small foot with bunions that requires a wider toe box. Bingo. The Asics i have purchased for running/walking could not be more perfect! NO SO with the tennis shoes. I have worn them half dozen times thinking they needed to stretch. Very narrow toebox and very painful even when i loosen laces.

I ordered my usual size in Asics but the width of these shoes was narrow and tight. My feet are average, not wide and not narrow. I had to return them because it was rather difficult squeezing my feet in these shoes.

I bought these to replace my Gel Challenger 12s. After wearing them four times to play tennis, I order a new pair of 12s. The Resolutions rubbed on the inside of the foot, below the ankle. They really restricted my lateral movements and impacted my play. Very disappointed. I ended up getti g th Challengers from another website for a better deal.

I bought these shoes in the hopes of making my pickleball game the best it could be. When I started wearing them I felt they were kind of heavy. I continued playing with them but had to stop as they were weighing me down in my movements. It felt like I was wearing cement shoes. These are the only pair of shoes that I have worn where I took a tumble on the court 2 different times. I was very disappointed in these shoes that were picked as number 1 on the "best pickleball shoes" site. Wish I could get a refund.

The 6 was fantastic. The 7 is sooo different! My feet are in agony and I haven't even played yet. The changes are for the worse. Not comfortable at all. Very tight and stiff. Also narrow and short. Very disappointing. Returning them.

OK. I'm sure I'm reiterating what everyone else is saying. I have a narrow foot, womens size 12, but as I have gotten older, some medium width shoes fit b/c narrow is sometimes too narrow. Now Asics has been my go-to tennis shoe for the past 6 years or more. It is much more comfortable/cushioned than New Balance. I have loved Womens 12 in Gel Resolution and in Gel Speed. However, when I excitedly bought my new shoes for this season--Gel Resolution 12 womens AND Gel Resolution 10.5 mens--the shoes are causing me pain (played 4 times so far). It's the outside of my pinkie toes. OUCH! I wore the mens hoping for more width, but I think they are identical to womens size and half up. Now I have two new pairs of shoes that I don't want to wear that rub on my pinkie toes, and about 6 old pair that have no cushioning left in them (hurt balls of my forefeet). I am trying silicone toe covers, but it's not helping at all. There are no other brands of which I am aware that fit my size 12 narrow feet. I'm kinda stuck. Please go back to whatever you did before. I love tennis too much to play in pain, but that's what I am left with. VERY SAD!

I have been wearing Resolutions since the 5's. I play about 15 hours per week, replacing my shoes every few months. The 7's are HORRIBLE.....super tight toe-bed and no ventilation. I have been searching the internet high and low for old style 6's and have had luck thus far, but running out of luck now. :( Asics, we are begging you.....PLEASE fix the toe-bed!!

I am a huge Asics fan and, in fact, only wear Asics athletic shoes. These shoes were the next generation from my last pair. The lack of flexibility in the front of the shoe with the new design is horrible. They do not fit well and if I could return them after wearing during one match would have. They are far too expensive to be disposable shoes. I am currently searching the internet for the shoe I used to have that was retired.

The shoes are beautifully styled, but like others have said, my heels slipped out even with the top hole laced. I have a narrow foot, and Asics usually work perfectly for me for tennis. I have several earlier models. This version fits differently than the Gel-Resolution 6. I am going to return them.
