Took a little getting used too but now that i am used to them, I love them. I was very sceptical about buying these after reading the reviews so I went to local store and tried them on.....loved the amount of comfort and stability. Like with any new sneaker....you will have to break them in a bit.

I am a loyal Asics customer. I always buy the Gel Resolution Tennis sneakers. This time, I thought I would try another style, and bought a pair of Challengers by Asics. They didn't work for me at all, so I bought the Gel Resolution 7s. They are just great! Fit fine, large toe box, and a lot of support on the tennis court. I'm sticking with the Gel Resolutions from now on. (I should have known better.)

The GEL-Resolution shoe has been my exclusive go-to for tennis for several years. I rely on the support - arch, sole, and ankle - it provides, and a good fit for a medium (bordering on narrow) width foot. My only issue is that some versions, until worn a few times, are stiff at the ankle - so be sure to wear socks to cushion that area.

I've worn this style show for several years now and it always performs, supports and lasts.

I love these shoes! They look good and are very comfortable! My foot is a little narrow, so I didn't have issues with the width like I saw that other customers had.

I have worn this shoes 3 times to play tennis so far and they are very comfortable. I have been wearing a different brand and my feet would hurt after playing. I find these shoes to be well cushioned and true to size.

So comfortable, full support and very cute. I wear ASICS running shoes. Will not trust my feet to anyone else

This is my second pair of these. I've had my first pair for at least 4 years and they fit well and held up well. My only complaint is the laces aren't long enough if you use all of the eyelets. I need to because I have a narrow heel. So, I had to purchase 54" laces.

Good and pretty. Kind of stiff like all ASICS shoes but great for tennis and very pretty.

Love these shoes. They did rub on my inner ankle until they were broken in. Like my last Asics, they do run a bit long but overall, I really like them.

These were too large for me and larger than the same size in New Balance.

I’ve worn the Gel Res for years. I have a narrow foot so I love that this shoe feels “tight” by most users standard. My complaint is that the lace is way too short! I use the upper holes to keep the shoe tight around the opening. This barely gave me enough lace to tie the shoe. I called ASICS customer service who said they would send a longer replacement. The only problem is that I won’t get the same color. Great shoe that needs to remain that way for we serious tennis players!

I ordered 3 pair of Asics hoping one would sufficiently replace my old tennis shoes. This was the most expensive one and I secretly didn't want to like it, but this shoe won. My foot is narrow and I suffer from plantar fasciitis, so even with custom orthotics and taping my feet, I still need good arch support. I believe these shoes offer that. I think Asics improved the narrow toe box issue (which by the way, for me, was more an issue of insufficient vertical space/height, rather than too narrow a width). I also picked these shoes for small details like having a light gray tongue and laces instead of bright white which tend to get dirty with frequent wear and clay court play. The outer surface of the shoe appears to be "wipe-able" which I appreciate.

This shoe is pretty and has good support but every Asics "tennis" shoe I've brought is too narrow in the toe box. Fits perfect on my heel. I ordered a medium but toe box is narrow. Ended up going to a local tennis shop to try other brands.

The toe box was still too narrow for me even tho I went 1/2 size up. I liked the cushioning and style but I’m afraid if I go a full size up the rest of the shoe will be too big. I’m exchanging them for a different style

I ended up getting this shoe in the blue/white combo. I did not like this as the photo shoes a white fading into pink which is what the outside looks but the inside of the shoe does not fade into pink but is all bright neon pink.

Fit and size was good. The sole of these shoes feels much stiffer than previous versions I have had.

These shoes are a full size smaller than the my last pair. I am replacing an older gel resolution size 7.5 and these new size 8 shoes are too small. I also don’t like the vinyl on the toe box. It doesn’t have enough flexibility. I returned these shoes and bought the ASICS Gel Court Speed.

I've worn the Gel Solution Speeds for five years. Prior to that I wore Resolutions. Since I've been having issues with Asics toe box size, I thought I would try the Resolutions again. It's a stiffer shoe than I'm used to, and slightly heavier than the Solution Speeds. I'm going to go with the Solution FF's. It's not a bad shoe, I'm just not used to so much solid material as I prefer some mesh on my shoes so toes don't pinch so much.

Had to send these back. they would slip up and down on my heel, and had just a ugly toe area. If they had stayed on my feet better I would have kept them they aren't as attractive as in the pictures.

This is not the old Gel Res 7. Totally revamped. Stiffer, tighter,(esp in the toe box) , and doesn't breathe at all, covered all over with hard plastic-like upper. Ugh. So sad. Had to return.
