Fit was fine, but not as much cushioning as some other Ascics - (such as Contender 5) Did not like the thin tongue. I did not keep these.

Asics almost always fit perfectly. These looked loose and bulky on top. Awkward. I returned.

I used to love Asics because the toe box had room and it was a nice fit. Plus they had great color options. The past year or so, the shoes seem to be smaller and narrower, and the colors lacking. Sure enough, when I put my old ones against the new ones, the soles of the new ones are shorter. Will for different brands.

Asics Gel Craze have been my exercise shoe for years. These felt too short in the length and when compared with my current Gel Crazes they were visibly shorter. Had to return.

While they look good, these are not shoes you want if you do any sort of workout more than walking. These have no support and gave me horrible shin pain within a few uses.

So I read reviews before purchasing, but somehow managed to miss the reviews informing me to order half a size up. My toes are pretty crammed in these shoes. I work on a concrete floor all day and stand for majority of my breaks, so it's quite inconvenient that these shoes don't fit properly. Also, the GEL label was very misleading. I have a pair of shoes that are asics with gel insoles and thought that these would be similar, but to my disappointment, they aren't. I love asics and their brand, but these shoes really let me down. I do give them three stars for their breathability and for their flexibility, but aside from that, I truly regret this purchase.

limited arch support and a short toe box. I have to return them.

This is a pretty lightweight shoe -- even with adding my own insole I wanted more support and structure. I did like the design so if you prefer something lightweight it would be a good option. Someone asked a question about whether this is a good shoe for someone who pronates and, although Zappos said yes, I would disagree with that for the aforementioned reasons.

These run really small! Buyer beware. The size runs more like a NIKE.

These shoes were ugly and completely flat, without any type of cushioning or support inside. I guess they could be comfortable for some people and they may be a good gym/crossfit style of shoe, but they were not at all what I was looking for.

The size was perfect but I required more support and a better fit so I bought a pair at a local retailer. I returned the Zappos shoes and thank Zappos for their easy return policy.

Something is amiss with the sizing of these shoes! I’ve been wearing this model for years in an 8.5. In April, I purchased a size 9 on the recommendation of a shoe fitting expert. They were way too big for my cross training needs. After one day of Jazzercise, they were relegated to my closet— a waste of $85. Last month, I purchased the same shoe in an 8.5 and they look and feel at least a half size smaller. They’re going back. I like ASICS (I have narrow feet) and it’s hard to find shoes for my workout. But if neither an 8.5 or a 9 work, I’m going to have to investigate other brands. Any suggestions?

Ordered this shoe because it's a "training" shoe, which, normally, I can wear for dance fitness. Not so in this case. My last pair was an earlier version of Gel-Craze and they were perfect for dance fitness. These are too grippy on the floor, and I have trouble moving side-to-side and turning. Not solid enough on the ball of my foot - I feel discomfort after dancing in them for an hour.
Sadly, I've worn them too much to return, so they will be a good shoe for running errands.

I have foot injuries on both feet (fell down the stairs & tendinitis - yay) and my doctor explained I needed new sneakers with great support as I make my way clumsily through life. He gave me a list of items to look for including a shoe with great arch support, something not flimsy, and for the bottom to have multiple foam structures - sounds easy enough. As I read through the reviews this sneak' seamed to be the 'shoe that fit'. Now after purchasing, I'm realizing that the shoe my doctor described is about as common as a Big Foot sighting (all puns intended).
PROS: Looks great, matches most outfits, has better support than my old sneakers - especially around the heel, very comfortable.
CONS: Hardly fits any of the criteria from my doctor (add face palm here). The shoe is flimsy and I would not recommend to someone looking for a sneaker that has great support. Doc said it's basically a flip flop with a mesh top.
In the end I'm happy with my purchase, and would recommend to someone who just needs comfy shoes to get through their day.

If you’re between regular width and wides, forget it. Very tight. PLEASE MAKE MORE WIDE SIZES!

Wide; arch support seemed practically non-existant; very wide at heel. Seems more like a men's shoe or a shoe than a woman's

The shoe is not as comfortable as the previous model. No tongue strap for laces to secure. I really feel like every new update reduces comfort and detail. Asics, you guys need to beef it up. It gets more disappointing with each model update.

I wear Asics regularly, mostly for running. Tried this for cross-training instead. For me, the arch support was insufficient (high arches) and the toe bed was a bit tight, lacked support right in the middle. Just not the right shoe for me.

I would give it higher marks if it had better arch support. I have been looking specifically for a cross training shoe for classes and weight training days, and I have good luck with Asics running shoes. There is really not much arch support in this shoe. I like the fit, but I did go a 1/2 size up after reading other reviews. It's snug around the heel, and has a roomy toe box. It's very light, and I can see why it gets good reviews. I just need more arch support, which seems to be hard to find in a cross trainer.
I'd also recommend:

Cute shoe but narrow toe box. I like how the tongue is small but too narrow for me.

These run small. I've always worn a 5.5 in Asics running shoes, and the other cross-trainers I ordered also fit me, but these were too small in a 5.5. They also didn't feel as stable as I want from a cross-trainer.

I wish these had more gel and support. No where near enough cushion for even trail walking. Great colors and nice breathable mesh though.
