These shorts are very comfortable and have a flattering fit . The drawstring lets you get a good fit through the waste. The color is very pretty and matches a lot of tops. I bought them for hiking, but I also plan to wear them other places. I like the zip pocket . I bought two pairs. I am 5'6 and about 138. I bought the medium size and they fit great!

Bought these to take on vacation in Hawaii. Perfect shorts for hiking and other outdoor activities. Comfortable and more stylish than other hiking shorts.

My daughter is 5' 4" 100 lbs, and the xs fits perfectly. Not too short. She can wear them to school if she keeps the waist band lower on her hips.

I feel like a goddess in these shorts. With a hard-to-shop-for figure and my not-so-easy-to-please standards, it is almost impossible to find a comfortable yet stylish pair of shorts for warmer weather. North Face has come through yet again with these bad boys. I love how thin and airy the fabric feels. The length is perfect for my height and the length looks modest but so age appropriate. I went back and ordered all the other colors.

These shorts have pockets which is great. Very comfortable pull on style, quick dry fabric. My favorite for everyday adventure.

Cute shorts!! Comfortable and plenty of pockets. There is even a small zipper pocket for extra security for some cash and a credit card or two. I wore them the first time pool side at a festival and they did get a little wet in the seat but dried quickly and stayed comfortable all day. I am going to enjoy these gems.

I own 3 pairs of these shorts and i love them! We visit Costa Rica a few times a year and they are perfect for hiking in the humidity, jumping into a waterfall, swimming or kayaking

I have several pairs of these shorts that I've bought over the last couple of years and I love them. They are really comfortable and my husband always compliments my booty when I'm wearing these (or the Aphrodite pants). The material is stretchy and very soft, great for hiking on hot days. I hate wearing a belt and like that these are elastic and stay up well without a belt. I do feel like the drawstring is unnecessary and adds to my middle where I really don't need anything added, but that's my only complaint. I'm between a size 12 and 14 and the large fits me perfectly. I'm 5'3" and the length is great - about mid-thigh.

I have a pair of these in the light blue that I purchased last spring, and recently took them (along with three other pairs of shorts) to Maui for a two week vacation. I wore my North Face Aphrodite shorts about 90% of the time (I only wore the others when these were in the wash). So before I even left Maui I got online and ordered a pair in a different color (the graphite). I am 5'4", about 115#(ish) and the small fits perfectly. I may even order the black ones as well, I love them so much.

I wear these shorts every day; running, walking, height king, gardening, biking- everything. They're comfortable and they fit, which is great because I have a hard time finding shorts that do.

Great shorts for everyday wear, love the small zipped pocket plus normal pockets. First pair of larges were a bit too big (5'10", 170lbs), but my mom loved them so much, she got those and I got a pair of mediums that fit perfectly.
