You can feel every seam in the ruching - very uncomfortable - I could not wear these.

I ride a bike to work and hike every weekend. Was looking to get a pair of pants that would work well for both that are lightweight for summer. I wore these pants 2-3 times hiking so far (not in dense brush etc) and found that they are VERY PRONE to catching. The pocket where my shoulder pack sat over is also showing pilling after the one time I used the pack. I haven't worn them biking yet, but I don't expect them to hold up. They are very comfortable and breathe really well, but at the price I expect more from the North Face brand. They are great for casual wear but not recreational. Because of this the cost should be much less to make them a good buy.

They were satisfactory in every way except that they were way, way too long. I'm almost 5' 8" and there is no way I could make these pants work. Returned them hoping to exchange them for the same in "short." Unfortunately there is no exchange by mail, and by the time I found that out the short version was not available. In short (ha ha) I wish I hadn't wasted my time. It's a pity, because I could see that I would've really liked these.

I want to rate these pants higher because they are super comfortable, breathable, and dry fast (I wore them behind a waterfall, got soaked, and they dried as I was walking!)... but if these are hiking pants, they need to be more durable!! I want to wear them as casual wear because they are so comfy (and make my butt look great), but they look too worn already. I just got my pair in August and when I wear them on the trail they snag on everything-- branches, shrubs, thistles, etc. resulting in pills and pulled threads. Also pills between the thighs making me think these won't last long. Wish there was some sort of warning about this in the description... would not have invested in them! Would I recommend them? Yes, but only if you're not going to wear them on the trail.... which is what they're advertised for!

I love the style and look of these pants, But the material quality is very poor. After only two wearings and two hand washings with line drying, there is already pilling where my purse was touching the pants.

Wore once, washed one. Falling apart at the waistband. Called NF and have to go thru warranty process to address the issue (told me it's due to improper washing LOL). Cute fit, horrible quality.

These are the CHEAPEST made pants. You are better off going to goodwill. I will never buy a pair. Lululemon quality and customer service is top tier

I bought a pair of these and the they were really comfortable but the fabric was coming loose within days. I really liked them though so I ordered some other pairs online because they were on sale but they sent me the wrong products, they sent me a men's puffer jacket size small and the one pair of pants I did get I've only worn once and there are a ton of loose threads on the stitching. Super disappointed, maybe would have left a better review if I'd received the product I payed for.

Weird smell in the fabric like a chemical type smell. Very wrinkly material. Did not care for it.

For some reason these pants have attracted white lint that does not come off with a lint brush. I really can't wear them anywhere but around the house

I ordered the pants short. They were way too long. I gave them to my niece who is 5 ft 9 in tall. I'm 5'2'". Didn't work for me.

I was trying to return a pair of pants that's too big and they literally made it impossible. This is so unprofessional. Never ordering from their website again!

I have six pair of these pants and five pair of the capris. I love the fit, but EVERY SINGLE PAIR THAT I OWN SNAG. I WAS THEM BY THEMSELVES AND IN A GENTLE CYCLE AND BY THRMSELVES, and still snags. I am gentle on my clothing as well. For all of the money that I have into these paints and capris and the good care that they're given, I want buyers to know this. But if you want snags in your pants .

Returned these pant. Didn't like the way the fabric was bunched and not smooth along the leg. Also way too long. Need to make a shorter length especially in petite sizes

I bought these pants for casual wear. Loved the fit, the look, everything, until...wore twice, washed once. The fabric was pilling ever so slightly after the first wear, and has continued to appear. Nothing I have been near could have caused this to occur, unless the fabric was simply low quality to start. Sorry, North Face, will not be purchasing these again. Please reconsider the fabrication on these pants, they could be much better, and more to your standards.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I have a pair of these pants from years ago and they are amazing. I ordered a 2nd and the 2nd pair got all these pills as soon as I went outside in them (I sat down on the ground, or leg brushed against a tree) so I wonder if the fabric changed. I ended up returning them and they accepted the return. Otherwise I love them and they are such great pants but a shame the quality dropped!

Something has changed with these. There is inconsistent sizing. I have a pair that are size small that fit perfect, I love them. So I ordered another pair and they are too little. Exchanged for mediums and they are too big. How is that even possible.... Such a disappointment. Guess I will move on to another brand that has better quality control.

Material is extremely thin and the rise is so short that it cause a wedge butt in the hot weather. Not attractive at all!

These pants used to be perfect. The Aphrodite 1.0 that I bought in 2016 had the best cut!! I loved the little snap pocket down the leg too. Between the long pant and the capris, I have nearly 20 pair of Aphrodite. I just bought the dark green and the cut is horrible. Why would the change the pattern when there's so many rave reviews?? If it ain't broke. I will be returning the latest pair and I will be looking for a different brand to buy. I'm so sad right now. These were my favorite pants to wear in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. I would wear them hiking, kayaking, to a concert, and even dress them up a bit. Farewell Aphrodite.
