I bought 2 pair of GEL-Nimbus 19, which are the same as my old pair, because ASICS apparently changed the footbed in the GEL-Nimbus 20. The arch of the 20 feels completely different and doesn't provide the same support for my foot. So I purchased a pair and a spare of 19s to last a little while.

Really great for long runs, mainly on the road. Order a shoe size or half size bigger than you normally do, because the toe box is tight otherwise. I added the superfeet green insoles, which make these shoes perfect for me.

This is a very comfortable shoe if you get the right size. I tried a half size bigger but ultimately had to go up a full size to get enough toe room.

I've always loved the Nimbus model and purchased 10 different editions (plus multiples of some years). I have wide feet and sometimes have to opt for the Wide option when too many changes are made to the toe box on the regular width shoes. I'd prefer more color options available in wide (since the toe box seems to be narrower than the past) or widen the regulars back to normal.
Always my fav shoe!

Nimbus 19 is perfect for me. I plan on doing some light jogging this Spring and this shoe will work just fine. Great for taking daily walks too!

This shoe runs very small. I wear a 15 and was looking forward to it as it didn't have the usual terrible color combos that Asics has. 15 is is as big as they go so I will need to find something else.

I wear Asics for exercising and walking ... the new Nimbus 19 feels a bit snug in the toe area, but hopefully they'll loosen up a bit with wear. General construction of the shoe looks very good!

Love these shoes but you definitely need to size up if not a half size maybe even a whole size. I typically wear a 7.5 in most other shoes and knew to order an 8 in these but they were so tight across my toes my feet were numb. I had plenty of room length wise so I was hesitant to order a whole size larger but all the cushioning in the back provides enough support that the shoe does not slip. I have a very narrow foot and would say this may not be the right shoe for you if your foot is on the wider side. Great shoe overall, just be patient and get the right fit!

I had the Nimbus 18 Lite-Show last year, and these feel similar. Plenty of cushion, and not too heavy. These shoes definitely aren't lightweight, but they are good for high-mileage training cycles such as "winter base building." The reflective elements aid a bit with peace of mind on dark evening runs. The laces are slightly elastic which feels luxurious in a way and the insole/inner portions are very smooth. I am about 50 miles into this pair and I foresee putting 500+ miles on them easily.

Guess I should've listened to the other reviews. Been wearing this style and size 9 for years. Size 9.5 is still too small in both length and in toe box. Will have to return these again.

Beautiful color and design on the Peacoat Red Clay, very smooth ride, but as many here I do find them narrow in the toe area. I am returning it for a 1/2 size bigger to see if that solves the issue. Let me stress that I have very narrow feet and usually D (medium) seems roomy for me. Unfortunate they don't come in wide because that could possibly help. I absolutely love the traditional design, attention to detail and craftsmanship. Bit costly though.

Sole hasn't worn as well as I'd hoped and the insole silk screening came off on my sock after my first run. The upper still looks great even after 5 months

I wore the gel nimbus 18 at the recommendation of my PT. However, I thought that my feet were swimming in the shoes and that the shoes did not provide enough support. I saw the reviews of the 19, and people said they were narrower. I did purchase a pair, and they are narrower, which is to my benefit, and they have a much more stable base 1,000 times. I like this pair and will probably buy extras, since asics tends to mess with each generation of shoes. I WISH ASICS WOULD LEARN THAT WE ADULTS DO NOT LIKE BRIGHT CARTOONish COLORS IN OUR SHOES. SWITCH TO BLACK, BLACK & GREY, or WHITE PLEASE. I am wearing my asics shoes just to run, I wear them around and the neon oranges and greens and turquoises are unattractive.

Finally, a wide shoe in a normal person style. I'm so used to being relegated to ugly colors because my feet are wide. Anyway, yes Asia's has changed their sizing. In the Gel Kahana I was a 11.5 EE. In these I am a 12 EEEE. They fit well, breathe well, and look sharp. I'm pleased. Did a quick 2 miles in them and feel pretty good.

I'm surprised to read some of the negative reviews that mention how wide these shoes are. The 19s are more narrow and fit me WAY better than the 18s. I have a narrow foot and the 18s bunched-up on the sides. The 19s don't bunch up at all.
I've worn Asics for 15+ years and always need a size larger than my dress shoes.

I've bought several pairs of Gel Nimbus over the past 7 years, and although they're still as cushiony as a cloud, I don't like how they feel much tighter now and shorter!! I went to a shoe store thinking my feet grew, but I'm still a 7.5-8.0. So I always run races in 8.5 for toe room, and these recent models feel like a size or two smaller???

For once wide sizes are being offered in various colors per model. Unfortunately as in other reviews these shoes are narrow so I had to go from 2E to 4E.

I've had 3pairs of the nimbus's in the past and all lasted and all were true to size. This time around asics has seemed to changed their sizing. I had to go with a half size bigger. If you're in market for running shoes asic nimbus are great but go up half size or even full size with the 19s

It's the lightest Nimbus as yet. You'll feel as if you are floating. However, take one size up as the show feels bit tight.

After trying these on and testing them as compared to my previous ASIC Nimbus shoes they definitely are an improvement. They feel light and breathable. Good support and feel.

This is the 5th pair of Nimbus I have purchased. I was so sure I would love them I threw away the box before I wore them. I would have returned them otherwise. They have changed! It appears the toe box is smaller, narrower to the point of pinching. The tread appears to be thinner. The tread is how I determine I need a new pair as it wears out and becomes slippery. I walk 3-6 miles everyday. I have loosened the laces and can wear them as a casual shoe but not a walker. They are great looking!

Asics is a great product. But they consistently wear out on the TOP. Where the mesh meets my big toe springs a hole every time. (And, yes, I do keep my toenails short)
I keep replacing them because they are super comfortable, but goodness, it's time to fix the lousy mesh top
