Bought first day they came out! Have been wearing them ever since. I am a huge fan of the Nimbus but for some reason the 18s did not fair well for my distance running, simply put they bothered my feet. But not these!!!!! Definitely worth the wait!

One of the best Nimbus(es?) ever. Ultra cushioned: best cushioning ever. NOT narrow--in fact, they were on the wide side. If you find them narrow, go up a half size (as everyone should in running shoes) or get a wide pair and face the fact that you have wide feet! Only complaint is that they wore out way too fast and the upper knit layer was fragile and wore through prematurely (after less than a year, not excessive mileage). Want another pair though!

I have bought Nimbus 19 and Nimbus 20 at the same time on-line. After reading so many complains I was going to return the 19 one. They have arrived today, after I tried one definitely like 19. Nimbus 19 has better support and cushion than 20. Nimbus 20 is lack of the cushion and weird support. I don't see the tightness issue, if you are between sizes just get half size up or one size up will be fine. I started to buy Nimbus since the 13version, I think Nimbus 19 is a good one! The color looks lighter than the picture, so it does look better in real.

I have gone though 7 pairs of nimbus 19. I bought a pair of the Nimbus 20 and found that Asics had cut down the amount of padding in the forefront of the shoe , causing a less then desirable effect then what I had experienced in the 19. Really disappointed in the 20. I have sense bought two more pairs of the 19 and can only hope that the padding comes back in the 21.

Read a lot of reviews about size too small and tight toe box. I just retired a pair of Sendai size 10 for these Nimbus size 10's. No prob with the size. However the fit was "glove fit" just as advertised, so the toe box feels tighter compared to other ASICS models without Fluid Fit. If you've never worn FluidFit, you may confuse tight toe box with size. I've worn 10s in about 5 different models of ASICS, I put these size 10s on and ran a 5k on pavement right out of the box, no prob with size. I rated as a 4 total because the green color around the ankle as advertised in the picture is actually blue.

As a college student, I try to maintain a somewhat healthy lifestyle. I run anywhere from 15-20 miles per week on a treadmill. I have ran in the Brooks Ghost 11, Saucony Freedom Iso, New Balance Fresh Foam Zante and Boracay, Asics Gt-2000, etc. It has been a struggle to find an ideal shoe to run in that offers cushioning, stability, and durability. While I am a neutral runner, I slightly overpronate on my left foot (not enough for the Kayano Series). Before I purchase my next running shoe, I conduct an extensive amount of research. I researched heavily on the Nimbus 19. Needless to say, I believe that I have found THE shoe. The Nimbus 19 offers an excellent amount of cushioning and support. I have no problem running 6 miles in these shoes. Out of the box, they are a bit snug. I would recommend going a half size up, or just keeping running in them (like I did). Eventually they stretched out and conformed to my foot. I look forward to continuing to log miles onto my Nimbus 19 and cannot wait to get the 20s or 21s. Take it from a broke college student, these were well worth the $90 I spent on Amazon.

This shoe is fairly comfortable and offers decent support but the toe box is a lot narrower than the gel nimbus 16, which was perfect. This version also has less outer support than the 16.

Favorite and only shoe I will buy and have worn for the last 10 years. However, the new style has the shoe running a half size smaller than the last 10 years.

Affordable shoe that offers support and cushioning to a guy 6'3, 250lbs. I still wholeheartedly endorse the nimbus, but be aware it seems to be running smaller. You probably want to go a tad bigger in size or width than asics a few years ago.

I have been running for 43 years and have only worn Asics Gel Nimbus for most of those years. The shoe gives me the support and cushioning I need. I know it will fit and won't need to be "broken in". Best shoe for me out there!

I bought these a couple of weeks ago. I needed to have a loose fit so I bought them a bit bigger but the had just my normal fit. Go even higher in sizes

I recently bought the Nimbus 19 because I heard they were very comfortable and cushiony and I have to agree that they really are! However, they are also more narrow than previous ASICS purchased. Therefore rendering them uncomfortable. Would I purchase this particular type of ASICS again? Probably not.

I bought these in an 11.5D to train for the upcoming Marine Corps. Marathon. I've bought 11.5s in the Nimbus 12, 14, and 16. All of those had fit really well. The 11.5 in the 19 seems to fit about a 1/2 size too small. I've done a few short distance runs in them, in the hope's of them loosening up, but no luck so far.

I bought these after seeing many recommendations for the shoes being good for I plantar fasciitis. I had first tried using insole inserts and it wasn't enough. These shoes are taking the pain away. My only irritation is these are "serious" shoes, not something you just slide on. They have very structured heels, and just feel a little clunky. To be fair, I usually only wear flip flops (can't imagine why I have plantar fasciitis!) so take that feedback with a grain of salt. Overall I would say these are a good value and are meeting my needs.

I only gave the shoe 4 stars because I had to change sizes twice, you have to go one full size up to get the correct fit, other than that super happy with it.

I got these two weeks ago. I've probably already put 30 or so miles jogging on them. Very comfortable. Took me a while to get use to the high cushion but I am really enjoying these so far. No foot pain.

I love the nimbus BUT the 19 has been running on the small side and 1/2size up the shoes too big in other areas. The 18 was perfect. I hope the 20's are more loke the 18's

I first fell in love with Gel Nimbus-16 and have since bought these models as my go-to work and running shoe. The Nimbus 19 is great, but I do like the previous Nimbus 17 arch better. Either way Asics continue to provide quality shoes that my feet love.

This is my fourth pair of Gel Nimbus.I am mainly a walker and do about 15-20 miles a week of walking including about 6-8 miles of trail walking. This time, I had to order 7.5 D to get the same fit as I previously had in 7 b. So the change in sizing I read about in other reviews is real. I have somewhat more room in the toes, but this pair is not too big. Weird. I feel that the cushioning is not quite as "cushy" as previous in previous years. The soles seem a bit more shallow as to tread. Also, after just 2 months of use the left big toe fabric is fraying. I fixed it for now with Elmer's glue. That is perennial problem in all of my pair of Gel Nimbus. Measurably, the sole is not as wide as previously. I still like the shoe but not as in love as with my first pair of 16's.
