I got these two weeks ago. I've probably already put 30 or so miles jogging on them. Very comfortable. Took me a while to get use to the high cushion but I am really enjoying these so far. No foot pain.

I love the nimbus BUT the 19 has been running on the small side and 1/2size up the shoes too big in other areas. The 18 was perfect. I hope the 20's are more loke the 18's

I first fell in love with Gel Nimbus-16 and have since bought these models as my go-to work and running shoe. The Nimbus 19 is great, but I do like the previous Nimbus 17 arch better. Either way Asics continue to provide quality shoes that my feet love.

This is my fourth pair of Gel Nimbus.I am mainly a walker and do about 15-20 miles a week of walking including about 6-8 miles of trail walking. This time, I had to order 7.5 D to get the same fit as I previously had in 7 b. So the change in sizing I read about in other reviews is real. I have somewhat more room in the toes, but this pair is not too big. Weird. I feel that the cushioning is not quite as "cushy" as previous in previous years. The soles seem a bit more shallow as to tread. Also, after just 2 months of use the left big toe fabric is fraying. I fixed it for now with Elmer's glue. That is perennial problem in all of my pair of Gel Nimbus. Measurably, the sole is not as wide as previously. I still like the shoe but not as in love as with my first pair of 16's.

It's a great pair of shoe. Fits perfectly. Runs a little too wide.

I bought 2 pair of GEL-Nimbus 19, which are the same as my old pair, because ASICS apparently changed the footbed in the GEL-Nimbus 20. The arch of the 20 feels completely different and doesn't provide the same support for my foot. So I purchased a pair and a spare of 19s to last a little while.

Really great for long runs, mainly on the road. Order a shoe size or half size bigger than you normally do, because the toe box is tight otherwise. I added the superfeet green insoles, which make these shoes perfect for me.

The mold for this shoe is great in the arch, but the 8.5 was too small in the toe. The 9, too long in the arch to fit right. It’s worth a try if you aren’t between sizes on this one, as in my case regretfully.

I’m returning it because just a few minutes with only right one on killed my foot. Didn’t dare try both of them.

I've always loved the Nimbus model and purchased 10 different editions (plus multiples of some years). I have wide feet and sometimes have to opt for the Wide option when too many changes are made to the toe box on the regular width shoes. I'd prefer more color options available in wide (since the toe box seems to be narrower than the past) or widen the regulars back to normal.
Always my fav shoe!

Nimbus 19 is perfect for me. I plan on doing some light jogging this Spring and this shoe will work just fine. Great for taking daily walks too!

These are very padded shoes, with a soft tongue. Unfortunately they do run a more narrow toe box and cause too much restriction. I ordered 1/2 and 1 sizes up and am keeping the 1 size up, however the toe box is still narrow.

The shoe runs very narrow. I tried a 11 wide and it was still tight.

She was short and narrow. Did not feel like a size 9. Nor was it wide as stated.

I wear Asics for exercising and walking ... the new Nimbus 19 feels a bit snug in the toe area, but hopefully they'll loosen up a bit with wear. General construction of the shoe looks very good!

Love these shoes but you definitely need to size up if not a half size maybe even a whole size. I typically wear a 7.5 in most other shoes and knew to order an 8 in these but they were so tight across my toes my feet were numb. I had plenty of room length wise so I was hesitant to order a whole size larger but all the cushioning in the back provides enough support that the shoe does not slip. I have a very narrow foot and would say this may not be the right shoe for you if your foot is on the wider side. Great shoe overall, just be patient and get the right fit!

I had the Nimbus 18 Lite-Show last year, and these feel similar. Plenty of cushion, and not too heavy. These shoes definitely aren't lightweight, but they are good for high-mileage training cycles such as "winter base building." The reflective elements aid a bit with peace of mind on dark evening runs. The laces are slightly elastic which feels luxurious in a way and the insole/inner portions are very smooth. I am about 50 miles into this pair and I foresee putting 500+ miles on them easily.

Comfortable right out of the box. Definitely order up a half size. I've been a loyal nimbus fan for a while. I'm a runner and these are the only sneakers that don't cause plantar fasciitis for me.

Overall a good fit. I got a D because reviewers said it was narrow, but the D makes it move around. I have square toes but medium width. The toe box works in D but the heel lifts up. If I return and reorder, I’ll order a half size up and go medium. So, maybe order a half size up if you’re not sure.

I agree with other reviews that the Nimbus 19 has a changed fit and feel in the toe box. It is narrower and I cannot wear a thick sock. The length feels compromised because of the narrower toe box. But when I stand in the shoe and compare where my big toe hits in the 19 vs. a pair if 18’s I have, my toe hits at the same spot in each shoe. After walking around my house in my 19’s I’ve concluded the toe box has a very secure feel for me, and my toes aren’t crunched. Instead my feet feel snug in the toe box and the heel still fits perfect. I wear a size 8 medium always in Asics and this still works for me in the 19’s. I would not want to go to an 8.5 or especially 9 because I can already tell they would get sloppy, and the arch wouldn’t hit at the right spot either. I guess my conclusion is I have better support in the toe box.

I've had MANY pairs of GEL-Nimbus shoes. I've been buying the same size for years. This shoe however is sized very differently. I have a fairly narrow foot and had to go with the wide shoe (I've never purchased a wide shoe in my life) to get what used to be the standard toe box on the Nimbus. In addition to getting the wide, I had to size up a 1/2 size from my normal Ascis size (which means a full size over your normal shoe size since Asics tend to run small anyway). Once I made these modifications the shoe fits like the older models, although I think it is a little lower cut at the ankles which I don't really like.

Get a half size larger! Asics are the only running shoes I wear. This is the first pair ever that were to small. My toes touched the front of the shoe at a size 11.
