My sister said the Nimbus was the best model of Asics so I tried it. I usually wear an 8 but ordered a size 9. It was so short I didn't even stand up and my toe was touching the end.

These seem to run small and narrow. I have to reorder in a bigger size. The cushion inside felt great though.

Have loved asics gel nimbus for a long time. I wear a regular shoe size 9 but have always bought these in a 10. Ordered the 19s in a 10 and they were too small. Order a half size up!

I have owned many pairs of the gel nimbus. I usually order an 8 wide. The 8 wide was too small in the toe area. Also the shoe felt tight for a wide. Ordered the 8.5 wide. It too felt tight for a wide, the toe was slightly better. Returned both pairs, hopefully the gel-nimbus 20 will fix this problem.

This shoe runs narrow. I tend to wear an 8 N and the 9 M was still a little narrow in the toe box. Asics has shortened their shoes in the last year so order a full size up from your typical size.

BEWARE! The Nimbus 19 is made different than the older Nimbus shoes. They are much smaller in the toe area. Not sure if a bigger size would solve the issue or not because it's smaller more from top to bottom, pressure on top of the toe then from front to back. I heard from Asics direct that they have had complaints about the 19's.

This is extremely narrow. I have nothing but narrow shoes in my closet and even have to put heel inserts in some of my narrow pumps since my heel is a 4A. However, the 9 2A in this Nimbus would barely even fit on my foot! I will look elsewhere until Asics listens to customers and brings back the old fit from 13-16 series.

I wanted to love this shoe because it's very gentle on my knees. However they caused intense bunion pain like I've never had before. I never even thought I had a bunion until i wore these shoes. I can't explain what it is about the shoe as the toe box seems roomy.

Disappointed. I have been an 8.5 in athletic shoes for as long as I can remember. The 8.5 in the Nimbus 19 was like a 7.5, the 9 was like an 8 and the 9.5 was like a 10. Too bad - I really like the shoe and almost prefer it to the Gel Kayano which I have worn since style 20.

The Gel-Nimbus 19s are only one of what seems like a gazillion pairs of shoes I bought to replace my old, worn out Nimbus 16s. I'd seen the so-so reviews of the Nimbus 19, but the Gel-Nimbus has been go-to shoe since my first pair (Nimbus 13) so I had to give them a chance. While I prefer the narrower toe box of the Nimbus 19, they do not seem to have as much cushion as the Nimbus 16. I'm a walker not a runner, and try to do about 1.5-2 miles a day, but my feet are so sore after wearing these that I limp around for the rest of the day. I've tried extra cushion-y socks to try to help, and the socks do help some, but the last time my feet hurt this bad I'd walked the Freedom Trail in Boston wearing sandals. I'm keeping them (obviously I can't return them since I wore them outside) and think they'll be fine for everyday wear, but my search continues for shoes to wear for walking.

I have been buying Nimbus for several years for walking either outdoors or on a treadmill and have always found them to provide more than enough cushioning underfoot to feel comfortable. After several weeks of wearing this pair, I don't think they have as much cushioning as my previous pairs of shoes did :(. When the time comes to replace these, I hope the next model of Nimbus will feel more cushion-y, otherwise I'll be searching for something else. Yes, I know I can buy inner soles to try to achieve the comfort I want but having to do that for a brand new pair of shoes is disappointing.

The sizing on these is incredibly off. I wear a size 11 street shoe and in the past, have worn 11.5 or 12 in Asics running shoes. I had to purchase a size 13 for them to fit. Also, while these are better than recent Asics models but the heel counter is still too stiff.

You guys I'm so sad that asics toe boxes are shrinking. This would be a great shoe if it were a little wider.

I absolutely loved the look of these shoes. However, the toe box was SO narrow that it hurt my toes terribly (and I have really narrow feet!) I am sad to say that I had to return them.

The 19's are not great - I liked earlier models much better. I want to know why other companies keep popular models around for decades but Asics forces us to get new shoes every year? Why cant they let us vote on the most popular model of Asic Nimbus, label it a classic and keep it around for an extended period of time? At this point Im having to use insoles when I didnt have to before and they are on the verge of losing me. What makes me stay is the fact that I can do 3 months/almost 450 miles before the soles are run through... but I'm sure I can find something else that does that.

These feel very different from the 15's and 16's, which were awesome for me. I'm very disappointed I had to return. The toe box is very small. I usually wear a 7.5 and always go up to an 8.5 in asics. Due to the small toe box I would have needed a nine had I kept these.

Had to return the shoe, because even though I owned a Gel Nimbus 18 of the same size, I couldn't fit my foot in the 19.

Order a size bigger... they run small. Other than that they are fine.

I only wear Asics and wear mine for running, gym and standing for long hours. I wear a 9.5 and have narrow feet. The last pair of Asics I owned were the women's nimbus 16. Unfortunately, the 19 doesn't measure up. It looks and feels poorer quality and the cushioning is stiffer. The sizing also seems shorter and narrower than previous models. With previous Asics' I've owned I put the trainers on and right away I felt the cushion and comfort. Not so with the 19. It's my second day wearing them and I still feel they need "breaking in."

I have owned many GEL-Nimbus shoes (15-19) although had to switch to Brooks during the 18 debacle due to poor fit - especially the heel. The 19 has a much better feel and heel-fit than the 18, however the toe box is crazy narrow. While okay for short runs (i.e., < 4 mi), this can be a problem for longer runs. I had to break off a 15 mile run at 9 miles to avoid torching my feet. I knew they ran narrow and went up a size, but this hasn't worked out as planned. Buyers - Consider the 4E. Asics - please bring back the bigger toe box, but keep the rest of the design.

Not since Nimbus 16 have I been happy. I always am hopeful but feel like Charley Brown when Lucy promises she will hold the football for him to kick and she pulls it away to his dismay.
These shoes out of the box again like the last three preceding run too small in length and the toe box is cramped. Even with foot gel and runners thin sock I developed three blisters after running only three miles. The old Nimbus never did that.

I have worn the Asics Gel Nimbus for years, but the new Gel Nimbus 19 (even in the D width) is tighter and narrower than earlier models, particularly through the toe box and across the top of the foot. So disappointed, but these have to go back.

I am a long time fan of the Gel-Nimbus over the past 10 years. Some year models have been better than others. This is the first time that I feel that the shoe runs narrow across the top around the ball of my foot. Also, this section seam stitching is uncomfortable. The cushioning is the same as the Nimbus 18 which I own now. Overall the fit is not the same or as comfortable as the 18. I am a mild supinator and I have a high arch.
