I tried on a friends XL jacket before purchasing this on line. The extra large fit perfectly except around the belly so I ordered a 2XL. I couldn't wait to receive this jacket. I was sorely disappointed when I tried it on and it was smaller around the waist than the XL. I have not returned it because my friend purchased this one from me.

It works as a rain jacket (which is its point) but it doesn't look nice. I feel l am wearing a waterproof sack.

Inside has fish net lining....not crazy about that.

There should be a two way zipper. A little tight around the middle, the two way zipper might help. Also may put vents on the seems.

The size was not true 2x. Other than that, wish it was a 3x.

I bought this coat as a gift and the size (XXL women's) seems smaller than it should be. It seems more like an L or maybe an XL. I wrapped it and I'm hoping for the best. The circumstances (this is a gift for a kid I don't know, who specified make, color and size) have tied my hands. I hope it fits, but I honestly don't have a lot of confidence.

The quality of the jacket certainly lives up to the expectations of a North Face jacket. I did not like the Velcro closure along the front. I find it snags on my clothing, scarfs etc. This isn't a problem if the coat is completely closed, but I often open the jacket when inside a building or on warmer days. The other things I was not crazy about was the lay of the hood.

Really like this jacket except the colors are not as pictured. The grey is darker than pictured and the pink is more fluorescent than it appears. But the worst part is that the inside collar is not grey as pictured, but is the shocking pink color, too much pink for me. I called customer service and they confirmed that the photo is a web-site error. Will probably return it.

This jacket is great for the rain. It keeps the water out and it just slides right off. The only problem is that it doesn't keep you very warm so wear something warm underneath if you live somewhere cold. Other than that it's great and reasonable priced

I purchased this jacket for my daughter for her birthday. She loves it; I personally thought it was too much money for what it was. It is a lightweight windbreaker and should not be priced that high. Of course, like many other people, it's what my daughter wanted for her birthday so I got it.

I ordered this jacket in Pache Grey (Grey with fuschia accents and logo) but when I received it the logo was white. The picture clearly shows the fuschia logo, and the coloring is why I ordered it in the first place. This was my first time ordering from this site, and I'm not impressed. :(

I got this jacket as a replacement for a similar jacket I've had for many years. The quality of this new one is way below the quality of the one I submitted for repair and I'm saying that about a jacket whose lining shredded! I am super disappointed in this jacket because it is very cheaply made and not great fitting. It doesn't even compare to the old one. My husband purchased a north face within the last year or so, and he said the quality of that coat was substandard. What is happening? I won't purchase another north face.

The jacket itself is quite nice, but in small sizes is apparently designed to fit someone rail-thin and very tall. As someone a bit under 5' with a slight build, the arms on XS were way, WAY too long but it was uncomfortably tight under the arms and I had to return it. I get not having a jacket designed for very short people, but for XS to fit properly it seems like you'd have to be at least 5 '6" and look like a stick figure.

I have owned this jacket for roughly a month and the zipper is already broken. Any time I have the jacket zippered and I sit down, the zipper comes undone at the bottom.

First i tried the Medium, too tight, Large just fit then wanted some room XL, swimming on me. Just bad fit. Shame as i really liked the look and feel of it.

Bad Zipper

I loved my jacket until it delaminated after 3 years. It is not longer waterproof at all! I've gotten soaked on my last two hiked this month.

It's too tight.

I absolutely love the waterproof gear! I purchased a few same jackets from elsewhere. I loved them.

Sadly as others have stated the zipper split right out of the package. I’m not sure why the zippers are so cheap. Otherwise I would ave kept it.

Sending back. Wanted this for cold weather and will not fit over an average sweater. The material is stiff, good probably for wet weather, but not for cold.

Love color and style just doesn't fit

Great jacket, but the zipper split 2 days in to wearing it and now doesn't work well. Not happy!
