Stop trying to sell me shoe laces the shoes come with them.

Perfect running shoes

Feel good. Only issue is the there was a white spot on the outside of the right shoe.

I have been wearing NB shoes size 12 2E for years but these ones run a tad small. However, I decided to keep them and have worn them in. Nice shoes but it seems lately several NB models are smaller than usual.

Great quality material. Warm and dry. However the left shoes was narrow and tight compared to the right shoe. Confirmed they were the same size....

Nice looking solid build but narrow fit. Normally wear regular D size but too narrow a fit up front.

Labeled "wide" but really are not. I can wear them but they are snug. Wides should be wider.

For the price I expected a comfortable shoe. They were adequate but not overly comfortable. I wanted them to be my favorite shoes. I am still wearing my old New Balances.

I am a lifelong NB wearer. I tried the 990 V3 because no more 993. Alas this is not nearly as good -- for me. Just enough narrower and just enough lighter to be a bad move for me. If this is your first 990, try one of the designs NB offers that you can return. Don't start with a custom design unless you are sure it is a good move. I am sure it is a great shoe for many but just not for me.

I purchased a pair of 574 outdoor activists. The shoes fit well and are very comfortable. However immediately after putting them on and trying to lace them up the metal lace loops at the top of the shoe pulled out of the left shoe. They're supposed to be held in place by a rivet. These were missing the back part of the rivet. I called new balance customer service and they wanted me ship the shoes back which is fine but they wouldn't ship me a new pair of shoes unless I made another order. Then they would process the return and refund my money for the first order at some point. This is unacceptable New Balance expects their customers to finance their mistakes. Most online retailers would immediately ship a replacement for a defective item without generating a new order and charging the customer twice. I didn't bother shipping the shoes back I just laced them through the holes where the rivets should have been. This will be my last Order with Newbalance.com. Poor customer service, terrible return / exchange policy and god awful quality control. You'd think being a new customer receiving a defective product they'd want to make it right. No effort was made on their part.

I was sad when i got these and the 2e were still narrow, unlike previous shoes i have bought from New Balance.

I am writing this to warn others from making a mistake. Be very watchful of the tongue on this shoe. I have had to pull the tongue back into being straight after it slides and droops off to the side after 5 steps (literally). This shoe is great, but the tongue issue on the shoe has ruined it for me. This has unfortunately been a grievance since I don't have tons of money to spend on shoes and have been using these for 5-6 years now. BE WATCHFUL OF THE SHOES YOU BUY, AND USE YOUR RETURN POLICY BEFORE EXPIRED!!!

I have had these shoes for 3 weeks and the rubber on the bottom of the shoe is already starting to separate from the shoe. I only use these shoes to walk, not to run.
