high quality sneaker, made in the USA. I have noticed some red color fading onto the white laces. It appears to be rubbing off from the logo on the tongue.

This is the best athletic shoe I have ever worn. This is my second pair.

I have plantar fasciitis and thes shoes, along with inserts, have saved my feet. I do not have to limit my activities at all. I also own 3 other pairs and bought these because my other shoes in this color have been relegated to dirt hiking. I love the way NB fits and the high heel and ankle support is an added bonus.

New Balance must realize that some of the neediest customers require this shoe. Glitz is nice, but secondary to providing real service.

These have been the best pair of shoes that I have ever bought. It's like walking on clouds. I used them on our last trip to Disneyland, at the end of the day I was exhausted, but my feet felt great and no blisters. Without a doubt my next shoes will be another pair of these.

I own several pairs of sneakers from many different manufacturers and I can honestly say these are the best of the best. Just an overall great, well balanced shoe. The fact that they are made in the USA only makes them more attractive. If you're looking for a solid, well built, comfortable sneaker than look no further.

this is the second time/pair of sneakers I received within 30 days that were too narrow for my feet. it has been approx. 3 years since I have worn a pair of sneakers and trying to figure out what size fits online is not an easy task. The Freeze2.0 was the first pair and it was too small so I went up a half size with these pairs( Escape). I think the problem is that I need to go with a wider size, not the standard fit. In the meantime, I will be giving these away as I did with the first pair, to someone nearby, so I can have the chance to see them being sported because they look so classy, so comfortable, so "cush."

got this shoe last week worn it a couple times. its been raining here alot in my area recently so i can say with certainty that this shoe is water resistant. a little narrow a bit past the ball of your feet section. but loosening up the laces in that area resolves that minor issue. i have somewhat wide feet and the regular width size 9s worked for my usual 9 wide purchases. gives me that durable easy to clean feel as well. happy with my purchase. will update if anything changes.

Good and comfortable. I usually just set the shoelaces and slip sneakers on and off. It's a bit hard to get these on sometimes. But once they are on, they are super comfortable. Be careful on wet stairs/floors. The bottom is not slip resistant.

It's good, I'd like to be more color. Lighter and comfortable. 574 is my favorite model.

I had my eyes on these shoes for a while and once my size became available again i had to get them.

Love the shoes, made in America. Worth the money. Fit well, look good, just need more options in smaller sizes, wider widths!

I have had the 990 V3 for about 2 years with no quality issues (perhaps because they don't get running usage), though I can see some degradation in the insert in the middle of the sole. And I do have the tongue drift... VERY comfortable, and I like that they are made in the USA. I did, however, just buy a second pair because I like the fit so much, but bought the new V4. The sole is clearly redesigned which I assume addressed the failures some have noted. They have also dramatically improved the tongue centering loop. Much wider and lined up with specific eyelets - the movement is significantly limited. Very pleased so far.

I won't give this shoe a bad review because it is very well built and has great support however they don't work for my feet when running. I've become accustomed to a much stiffer shoe (Brooks Beast) made for heavy runners. Anything else is just too soft for me.
