I was looking for something to use for hiking. It was my understanding that this had internal material to keep me warm. The description should say "raincoat" because that's what it is :) I personally wouldn't have paid as much for a raincoat and don't care to go through the headache of returning. It is definitely stylish and not a common print/color which I do LOVE!

Excellent jacket for windy, rainy conditions. I received the jacket with a stain on the collar. I kept it because I didn't want the hassle of returning it.

I loved this rain jacket but was very disappointed when the inside fabric started peeling and shedding. Unfortunately, I cannot wear it anymore as flakes of the interior fabric shed onto my shirt and it gets messy.

Although it is a nice product, depending on how you are shaped (all females will understand my meaning) some areas will not fit true to size. I ordered a 3x and it fit nicely on everything except my mid section. I have a large chest and it was comfortable. The material is extremely thin and lightweight, so take that how you want +/-.

The heather gray jacket is very attractive. The problem is that you are suppose to be able to stow it in the side pocket, but the heathered versions of this jacket do not fit. I checked one out in the store, and the non-heathered jackets will stowaway in the side pocket. That was a deal breaker for me.

I bought this jacket for my wife who is a very active person (ex professional athlete). The jacket feels a bit big, as my wife generally wears an S and here the XS was a perfect fit. It's not a big deal, but I would definitely try it before in a shop.
My wife feels great in this jacket, it's comfortable, windproof and waterproof. It's very lightweight and not warming. I've seen people complaining about the fact it's not warm. Just read the description, it is supposed to be like this. Now the color, Kokomo green, is nothing less than spectacular. Just to give you an idea - my wife did not take it off for three days straight. Additionally, it's vivid enough to be spotted in poor visibility conditions.
This said, it does not fully serve its purpose. It is supposed to be designed for rainy weather, that's why we bought it. And at the beginning it felt like it is. However when the actual rain started and my wife needed to use the hood, the flaw in the design was obvious: the hood is unexpectedly small. My wife, as many active women do, tends to wear a ponytail. With her ponytail there is absolutely no way to put the hood on and not to keep your face sticking out of it, exposed to rain. There is a size regulation in the back of the hood... but it only goes smaller. Maybe the problem is the XS size, but then still, the hood is not proportional to the rest of the jacket. It could have been deeper and then you would just adjust it to your head size or hairstyle.
That's why 3 stars. If not because of the hood, I would opt for giving it 6 stars out of 5. But bottom line is, it does not really serve its purpose.

Medium was too snug around the hips. Sleves are too long

Fit was a little snug, returned and got a medium which ended up being a little too big

This seemed like a high-quality rain jacket, but it runs a bit large and the cut is rather boxy. It didn't look very cute.

I bought this coat to use as my lightweight, casual raincoat. I love how roomy it is and allows for layering underneath. The DryVent technology appealed to me because I wanted a coat that was windproof, where the rain would bead and roll right off. It worked great for the first six months. Then I noticing that rain water was starting to penetrate through the outer layer of fabric on the shoulders, then on the sleeves, and now the entire coat. I'll still wear it as a windproof layer but I'm disappointed in the performance.

I ordered a women's XXL for room at the hips. This felt like the size tag was changed from a men's XL. It was ridiculously wide in the shoulders and the sleeves were too long. I ended up returning it to the store and purchasing something else.

Feels more like plastic and now that I've had it for about 3 weeks, wish I could return it. Not what I was hoping for.

This jacket is more like a wind breaker and should be titled as this instead of jacket. It's rather thin and works great as an add on to a jacket but not meant for cold, wet weather on it's own. I do like that it's very light weight but I purchased this with the intention of it being used as a jacket. I love North Face products but unfortunately I can't rate this wind breaker higher than a 3.

The coat is cute looks warm but very tight even though ordered a size bigger. The sleeves are shorter than expected.

I was expecting a little more than flimsy plastic, a little something inside for warmth, especially for how much it cost.

I absolutely loved this jacket. It was perfect for my needs. However, I am short and needed a more petite fit. It was huge on me. The sleeves were way too long and the hood was so large it covered my eyes. I tried the smaller size but it was too small to zip over my hips. I wish it had worked.

I liked the fit of this jacket, but the plastic feeling of the lining against my skin was uncomfortable, so I found myself preferring the Resolve jacket's interior over this one.

I bought a size small based on the website recommendation for my proportions. I was replacing the same model jacket which had a lining that failed. It was covered under warranty and I otherwise liked the fit and function do thought I'd just replace it. The Ventura 2 has a new style and better lining but was too big, the sleeves came down to my knuckles and the hood lacks a bill to keep rain off the face. It didn't really cover the whole front of my head. I need it for hiking and backpacking and this won't work. I ordered a different style and hope it works out better.

The color was great and had a very comfortable feel. But the size was a bit loose so wind would come in from the bottom and it was a bit cold for 66ish degree weather. The good thing about this coat is that it's easily storable and very waterproof. I washed it and it dried in less than an hour.

The quality of the jacket is good and there are plenty of deep pockets. The jacket is extremely thin and, what I would use for a multipurpose rain jacket.
