The codetta coat is great!
I'm a tall woman so I appreciate the long sleeves. There is just enough room to add a payer underneat, but not so much that the coat looks baggy and unflattering. The only tricky part might be under the armpits, where there is not so much room, but it hasn't cause me problem so far.
The design and quality is very good. I haven't had problem with the zipper like many people seemed to have.
I'm also happy that for once, the color options don't include pink. It seems like outdoor clothing brands think that if you are a woman, you systematically want to wear pink. Thank you for replacing the pink color by something else in the fall 2018 options!

I wore this coat hiking in the Lake District last March. It was very waterproof during the cold torrential rains but the cuffs are very tight and do not have Velcro. I could not put my waterproof mitts on properly nor my gloves. My hands got very cold and wet which is not good on an 7 hour hike with a 3 degree temperature.

I absolutely love this coat. What surprised and impressed me the most was its flattering cut. I get compliments on it often. It looks and works great for work and for weekend hikes. I love that you can count on it to keep you dry. If you live in a rainy climate, this is the shell for you. I use my Atom LT under it for cold days and it's all I need. Highly recommended!

This is a great looking coat, but it runs small and the fabric is noisy. I'm not familiar with Gortex, but for its weather protecting qualities, I'm not sure that the crunchy nice is worth it for me!

I have long arms and the large fit perfectly and the color is stunning, the fit is very feminine with a bit of tuck at the waist and flair at the back

Versatile jacket. The cut is flattering and I love the color of mine - Shorepine (green.) I wear it hiking as well as in the city. I find it is a great length (nice to have the longer length) and often am asked where I bought my jacket as it is rare to see a stylish waterproof trench coat. It really is a stylish way to be completely dry.
I wore this jacket visiting Edmonton, Alberta and my best friend fell in love with it and ordered one for herself. My friend visited Vancouver in April found us both grateful for the fitted hood and water tight zippers. Our jackets took us from hiking to dinner and everything in between. We felt stylish and dry the entire time.
I would recommend the Serium LT Vest to layer underneath for some added warmth as the jacket is a shell only with no insulation. I bought a Medium so that I could layer underneath for some insulation (I am 5'2" and 140lbs)

I live in a city that rains over 50% of the year. This jacket makes my daily walks with my dog more enjoyable because I'm comfortably dry walking in the rain. Love this jacket!! Worth the money.

This is by far the most expensive jacket I've ever purchased and I came back a few times before I officially purchaed it, and I'm really happy that I did! With Vancouver rainy winters, my wool coat was getting drenched, so I needed something that would keep me dry, look stylish, but could still fit winter sweaters underneath.
I liked the shape of the xs but went with the size small (fits best with a few layers underneath for me). I was worried that it may not fit me post partum, but it does! (5'8", 130lbs).
I get stopped ok the street at least once a week with women asking me where I purchased it. Most assume it's Lululemon at first glance, but I didn't like their cut/style and the quality is night and day with this jacket. I send them straight to the Robson St store ;).

I love the Codetta. I'm using it mostly for walking in rainy areas; hikes, taking kids to school, etc.

I bought this in Marianas in a medium a little over a year ago, so it's seen many rainy days. I'm 5'5/135 athletic build; the medium fits perfectly. I live in southern CA where we haven't had a lot of rain in a couple of years, but I certainly made good use of it this year. This jacket is light weight, non-insulated, and perfect for warmer climates, as you can always layer underneath for warmth. On several occasions, I've walked 3 miles in rainy, humid weather in this coat, and I stayed perfectly dry, and appreciated that the jacket material breathes so well, that I didn't break a sweat. The hood is a perfect fit if you zip the jacket all the way up; based on other reviews about the hood being too large, I thought I'd mention it. When I drape this jacket over the back of my chair, it's dry in under 10 min. The water tight seams look as though they'll withstand many years of use. The liner shows no signs that it will ever peel. I've washed the jacket several times (per Arc'teryx instructions), and it is still just as waterproof as it was brand new. The only feature I would add to this coat is a large inside pocket. It would be nice to have a dry place to put my cell phone so that I can put my hands and keys in my outside pockets during downpours. The coat's material is a bit noisy, but it doesn't bother me at all. If you need a longer waterproof shell, I think you'll be more than happy with this coat. I like it so much, I may even invest in a black one.

This is a great jacket and it fits and looks great too, but I do get my boyfriend to zip it up for me every time, because it's just not doable by the person wearing it!

I've had this jacket since they first came out; it's still in amazing shape. I use it all year, either for a rain jacket or over a down layer in the winter. This jacket looks great and give you good shape, it's nicely fitted so it good. I would buy a new one, but mine still looks brand new after all these years!

I love the construction and fit of this coat, extremely well made and will last my lifetime - well worth the price. It is gortex so it makes a slight crinkle noise, but it’s a rain coat and to me not an issue that I also think may lessen with wear. As some have noted, the sleeves are also a bit long (on me too), but because I’m on the shorter side, I’ve always had that problem and just won’t worry about it. I am 5’ and 125lbs with a 36” bust. It runs small so order a size (or two) up. I initially ordered a small (my usual size) but returned it for the medium so I could layer a light sweater over a shirt and still be comfortable. It has a very flattering cut and I feel it makes me look trim not bulky. The darker blue version I purchased works great for any occasion and blends well with other colors. I’d bought this coat for travel to Ireland but have used it more often as an everywhere-anytime coat. I am really happy with this coat and very glad I got it.

I absolutely love this jacket! It fits beautifully and is a little longer than some of my other jackets... more of a car coat... and I wear it all the time, not just in wet weather.
Although... I did get caught in a heavy storm one day and I was positive there was no way I was getting out of it unscathed. When I got home and removed my coat I was perfectly dry. In fact, there was a sharp line on my jeans where the coat ended. Everything below was soaked to the bone; everything above was bone dry.
I have many Arc'teryx jackets for various activities but this one is a little more fitted and stylish so it's more of my go-to for work. Packs easily on my tote when I don't need it.
