Love these shoes. Have always worn the jungle Mocs, and these new ice soles put them over the top. I am a mail carrier in Michigan and usually I live in my yak track in the winter. These new soles give me the added traction. My feet don't slip and slide like they usually do. And they don't break like cleats do after a few uses. Thumbs up!!!!

Warm, comfortable, easy to slip on and off. I walk my dogs early in the morning and need something that has some traction on the slick morning streets. These shoes fit the bill. They provide great arch support, also.

Not exactly fashion forward, but they are comfortable and grip well on the ice.

Goal is walking in parking lots in Northern Michigan without falling. Well met, so far! Wishing for same soles on taller boots for the warmth factor

Found them to be very comfortable and well constructed. Waterproofing keeps feet dry. This is my second pair of Merrell jungle boots. The first pair lasted real well. Found I feel secure on snow and ice. Feet were warm. Love the convenience of just slipping in and out of the boot and not having to untie it. I highly recommend this product. Well worth the money.

They were too small but am sure I would have liked them. Out in my size. Bought fleece lined waterproof snow boots. Going well.

It was easy to order, quick to be delivered and free, and accurate; however, this high quality shoe was supposedly the colour called "smoke" which suggests grey and it is certainly brown of which I'm not fond.

First of all, I have been wearing Merrell Jungle Mocs for many years and am a very big fan. I was so pleased to see a new model - one made for icy conditions, so this year, I purchased a pair of Jungle Moc Ice +. As I am sure you know, we get brutal winters in Montreal and this year we had an extraordinary amount of icy sidewalks. I was disappointed in the traction that I got from the shoe. It was comfortable and warm - but it did not prevent slipping on ice. I have worn crampons but find them awkward to put on and remove and do not like how they feel on pavement. When I go walking, I walk mostly on pavement and sometimes there are icy patches.. The Merrells sole felt good to walk on - could not tell that it was made for ice (like crampons) and I did enjoy wearing them. However, i was disappointed on how they performed on icy patches. I did not feel that they prevented sliding much more than my regular Jungle Mocs. I remember that there was a small tag on the shoes when I purchased them - stating that the soles do not take the place of crampons and perhaps nothing really works on ice. In any case, I just wanted to report this to you. It would be wonderful to have a shoe that had a sole that really worked and prevented slipping but not sure if that is possible. In conclusion, I do love Jungle Mocs but am disappointed in this shoe's traction. Thanks. Sharon

Very comfortable and warm. Had to take out the insole as the arch was extremely uncomfortable and put in a felt insole. Otherwise, great shoe.

It is a little early yet but so far not too bad. I found when I first tried the boot on it is extremely stiff and hoping it will "loosen up". The other point of disappointment is the part of the boot that is covering the top of your foot. It is the spot where the "tongue" would be on a runner. It digs into the top of your foot, which is very uncomfortable. Again, I am hoping over time this too will loosen up. I would not want to walk for very long distances right now. I had the boot on most of the day on the weekend because we were running errands. If you are in the sitting position, this alleviates the top part digging into your foot. Other than this, the boot appears to be warm enough and again, they appear to have very good traction; especially important in icy conditions. I really am hoping all goes well as I bought a pair of Merrells in 2002. They were a Polartec pull on boot with thinsulate on the inside. I still have them. The only reason I wanted a new pair is because the colour on the outside of the boot is worn which makes them look the age that they are - 16 years old! I can only hope I have these new boots for as long.

This shoe has a really good grip on the bottom for walking in slippery conditions. These shoes are a wee bit snugger than my other regular jungle mocs (non ice). But they still fit well. Only I don't know if there will be room for socks. I'm still very happy with them.

So far so good. They are very comfortable but not as slip resistant as I was hoping. These fare well on loose and packed snow but on ice I find them a little slippery. All in all a great shoe though!

Bought these to try the new vibram soles to reduce slipping on ice. Like that feature. The are supposed to have waterproof uppers. Although not terrible I could never call these waterproof. Resistant maybe but not waterproof.

These are comfortable and truly non-slip. After an icy morning walking on an incline to my car I was able to walk normally and safely. I highly recommend these to all seniors.

The sole is great for winter. But in a small size, the shoe comes up very high on the foot. My feet are narrow, and my ankles are tiny, but the top of the shoe is hard and uncomfortable. Maybe it will stretch.

One still must place the foot flat on the icy surface so the arctic grip coated lugs make contact. They provide added confidence on icy surfaces and little to no snow sticks to the bottom of the shoe. They are warm in 20 degree temps, have substantial arch support, and are instantly comfortable. Would like to see the arctic grip on the very tip of the underside of the sole - the point of ground contact if one bends their foot in a natural stride. That is where some slippage occurs on icy surfaces.
