I discovered these shoes many years ago, initially when I was having a problem with one of my feet. I work out consistently 5-6 days per week in a cardio-strength-dance format and I cannot believe the difference they make! The rollbar provides the lateral support in moving side to side, and not only my feet, but my knees, hips and entire posture are well-supported. I am so grateful that New Balance continues to make this specific shoe, as I cannot imagine working out with any other - I have probably purchased 10 pairs through the years!

This is the third pair I have bought. They are sturdy and offer great support for my weak ankles and injured foot. I have a custom orthotic insole which I use instead of the standard one that comes with the shoes. I wear these shoes all day, everyday and they are built to last. Highly recommended!

This shoe is wonderful support with its roller bar as I have rheumatoid arthritis. I wear it around the house and whenever I can outside. Great walking shoe and good support at the gym.

As an orthotic user, I am baffled as to why this shoe does not appear in the search when you choose "orthotic" type shoes. It is one of the very few shoes that has an internal shank which is essential when you wear orthotics. If the shoe doesn't offer solid support, then the orthotic that you use is useless, either that or it will bend with the shoe and eventually break because there is no support. It would be nice to see shoes that have the TPU post and rollbar tech but that seems to be disappearing also. I'm hoping that this syle number does not get discontinued. It will be a very sad day for people who use orthotics because there aren't that many choices out there, especially in N widths.

I feel the support in the "rollbar technology" described for this shoe. Use it for walking 10K everyday and now getting a pair for 4x/week aerobics. Just a really good supportive shoe. I always go back to NB-others just don't feel as comfortable and definitely not as supportive. . (The tongue is a little sloppy, small- but can deal with it -support outweighs that issue) I can get about 4 months out of these with above activities (one pair for each activity) Take care of your feet!!

Since I am older and suffer with rheumatoid arthritis this shoe helps. It has a nice size toe box, stability in it's construction and great cushioning. It's my favorite shoe and will continue to purchase it

The fit was perfect, I bought these to help support my foot after a broken metatarsal. This helped keep my foot stable so I can resume walking and being active. Please know these shoes are not flexible in the sole. These are to help you stay straight and support your foot. Great shoe! I only wish there were more color options.

This is an excellent work shoe. Don't have to work in food service to love it. I use it gardening and just rinse the mud off.
Only problem I put in softer insoles, like a doubled up Dr. Scholls. I know MB makes some great inner soles but time was of the essence.

I wear these sneakers all day long. I have tried many different pairs but these are the most supportive and comfortable. When I start getting pains in my knees or hips I get a new pair and they go away. I only wish they made this exact sneaker in solid white and or other designs.
