For the shot time I wore these shoes (one time) they felt really comfortable to wear. Unfortunately my dog ate (yes she literally ate the shoe starting with the tongue and laces. Unfortunately after dropping almost $300 on shoes and with this pandemic not sure when I will be able to buy them again. I planned on alternating between shoes, but now that won't happen. New Balance makes great shoes, and they are the best for people like me with foot and ankle problems. I just wish somehow I could reverse my dog eating them. Obviously she thought they tasted good.

I have neuropathy and New Balance shoes are the most comfortable by far.

Have used new balance shoes for a long time because they fit my wide feet. These are better ones so we'll see if they are worth the price difference. Only a couple weeks old .

Fine comfy shoe with lots of stiffness. Using the 857v2 as a substitute for the 990, which costs $75 more (at my prices anyway; YMMV). Very similar to the 990, 857 has a lower rise, looks a little bit sportier and less convalescent. It's clearly not as good a build quality as 990, but it will be fine for 6 months of heavy wear (the only other shoe I wear is slippers at home). My podiatrist told me that a good (not great) shoe with the needed stiffness and support should last me 6 months. Highly recommended.

I wear these shoes daily as they allow my orthopedics to correct my arch problems and are very comfortable.

I use this product on a daily basis, especially for walking. This model seems to wear very well. I did notice however that the laces are much shorter than the previous ones I still have. I find that they are very stable for walking and or working. The older ones I use do have the problem of portions of the soles do become unattached, I can however repair them so they last a little bit longer. Bill

I love wearing my 857 cross trainers everyday for everything, every chore plus working-out, running and dog walking. They are comfortable and sturdy. Thank goodness NB has brought back a regular shoe design to the cross trainers that looks normal w/ long pants/ blue jeans. I don't like the running shoe look so I'm happy with my new 857 X-trainers...although I like the 806 court shoe toe style best. The court shoe heel, though, doesn't seem to wear as well as a cross trainer that I use everyday. So, I'm glad to be back in X-trainers since NB seems to have realized their error making X-trainers styled like a running shoe.

easy to get into when it fits! comfort is the only point here. great buy, highly recommend.

So comfortable!!! One of the golf shoes I use fell apart during my round and did not get a chance to purchase another pair. I tired the 857v2 and was pleasantly surprised at the comfort. The traction was excellent and no buyer remorse there. Amazing! Bought the slightly wider width and absolutely Perfect!

I use these shoes for all of my activities....power walking, weight training, golf, and casual wear.

Primarily wear to work out. Treadmill ., gym etc..

Product was comfortable and able to use w orthotic insoles.

Good fit and excellent support. I think shoes will work well.
