I had a very hard time trying to get my feet to fit inside these shoes. The opening and elasticity are not wide enough to allow your feet to slide comfortably inside. Canvas is very stiff and has almost no give. When I was finally able to put them on, they were the right size and width, but way to tight in the top and all around the opening of the canvas. I don’t have a problem like this with the slip on Sperry’s. So I’m assuming this shoe is just made for narrower and very thin feet.

Love them!! Very comfy and light.

I love these! Took a few wears to break them in, but the pain was worth it.

Great shoes! I've ordered them before and wore them out. Happy to have another pair.

Avalon’s are my favorite Tom’s. These are very comfortable out of the box. This is my 4th pair. These are almost a dark grey and not black. Very neutral.

Super comfortable !

I love TOMS but for some reason these shoes look huge on me. I'm thinking that they are too wide, as i'm falling out of them and they look funny when I stand flat.

Took a couple of weeks to “break-in” to where they didn’t hurt my heal, but now they are super comfortable. I wear them almost daily. Super cute and match a lot of clothing.

The material is softer than my last pair and these run true to size to a bit large. I ordered my size and they are roomy, lending to greater comfort! I have wide feet and these are perfect! Regular Tom’s, with the narrower toe and lack of side support, don’t fit my feet well. Not true with these! So far, I haven’t had any blisters as some people have stated.

Finally found a pair of shoes that cute enough to wear with a skirt or capris, but still as comfortable as sneakers. My flats have not been comfortable for long periods due to plantar fasciitis and I have been looking and looking for something more comfortable. I have tried many, and these finally fit the bill. They are a bit high in the back (as some others have mention) but with a sock liner they are still extremely comfortable. So excited to finally have something to wear that I can walk in without pain.

These are so comfy due to the material! Others have mentioned that these run big, but they fit true to size for me.

great materials, super comfy padded sole. no blisters without socks on my first all-day wear! these are my first pair of Toms, and probably won't be my last.

Love these and the color. Only wish the shoe sole around the base of the shoe wasn't cream colors but was black or charcoal gray. But I guess that's one of the trademarks of this brand :). Anyway, love these. Super comfy and cute.

First time trying TOMS. My sister wears them and swears by them, but I didn't like the ones with the square front. Ordered these and do love these a lot better. Super cute!

Bought these as a cute but hopefully comfy work shoe. So far they are perfect.

Not my first pair, so that's part of the recommendation. Fit is consistent and seems true to size. I use a metatarsal support insert that fits easily into the shoe and provides arch support.

I love the Avalon's. These are my 4th pair. I normally wear an 8.5 and some 9's but wear an 8 in Toms. The forged iron color is not actually black but a black wash and looks dark grey. I actually think I like them better than a solid black. Very comfortable shoes. Wore out of the box all day. Love the thicker sole so you can wear them on a rainy day.
