Cute boot in photos, but the leather felt a little thin and plasticy. Toe is too pointed

Okay here's the deal, I've owned 3-4 pair of these boots they're beautiful and I love the way they fit but the newest pair I have are falling apart. The strips of leather they glue to the outsides of the heal are peeling off! This doesn't affect the performance of the boot but boy they look horrible. I don't mind buying new boots when they wear out bc I wear these boots all day everyday. But these boots aren't that old and this is purely cosmetic but for the price I shouldn't have to replace boots for a cosmetic defect. I hope the team can take this review and improve the product bc I do love these boots.

Nice looking leather boots but did not work for me. It was very tough to put on, I realize a zipper would work better for me. Once my feet were in, the boots felt loose around the ankles and heel. I prefer a better fit with a zippered boot.

I read a lot of reviews before buying and ended up buying my usual boot size a 7.5. I comfortably wear a 7.5 in Ariat square toe boots. Like a few other reviewers have noted, they are tight. Front to back the length is perfect, so a larger size wouldn't be right. I have a narrow foot, and I've never worn a wide shoe in my life. I'm wearing them with thick socks for short periods of time hoping to break them in, but right now they're very uncomfortable and I'm disappointed. I love the look and am hoping for a good fit, just haven't got there yet.

I was hoping to replace my old Ariat Cobalt Boots with these but they are not up to standards. I love the Ariat products and have had several pairs (at least 5) of boots. This boot is way too big, just as the reviews say and the leather is pretty stiff. Not near as soft and comfy as my Cobalts.

I loved the style and specs that this boot is waterproof! It was clunky on my foot and rubbed on the top of the boot shaft along my leg.

My biggest issue is that these shoes slide on wet concrete and tile floors. I live in the PNW and it is damp for 5-6 months of the year, so this posses a safety issue. The shoes are also slightly too big and aren't overly comfortable. I can't see standing or walking for long periods of time without discomfort. I bought these to take on a two week trip to Scotland and Ireland. I would have returned them but I didn't think they looked "unworn". This was an expensive failed experiment. I will look for another pair of boots to meet my needs.

I had hoped to love this boot but did not and returned it upon receipt. This is a really well-made high-quality boot, but it was VERY stiff, hard to get on, and uncomfortable once on. I found it to be narrow and too tight on the toes and upper foot, even though it's my normal size (7) and I do not have a wide foot.

I purchased these boots for a trip to Scotland where I was prepared for rainy walks around cities. These shoes were comfortable out of the box and I really like the embellishment on the back of the shoe where the heel is a different color than the rest of the boot; it makes it look a bit dressier. The toebox was tight if I wore thicker socks, but thin non-cushioned socks were fine. Like other reviews, if you don't wear socks that come above the ankle, you will be in some pain. The ankle area is very stiff and not forgiving against skin. My first day wearing these with socks that did not come above the ankle of the boot left me with raw skin that was painful. I promptly bought shin-high socks that fixed that problem. I did have slight pain in my pinky toes after wearing these shoes for 8+ hours walking through castles and on uneven city streets, up and down city hills, probably from my foot sliding a bit in the toebox with the thin socks I had to wear to make the toebox feel comfortable. These are well constructed boots and look great though!

I so wanted to love these boots but they felt narrow in the width but large at the heel. The inside ankle stitched seams felt rough.

I have the Ariat lace up all terrains and the pull on version. I love them so much I wanted another pair to wear for “goin’ to town” since the others are always covered in mud and horse manure! These are more narrow and the soles are different. The heel is separate, not a seamless part of the sole like the all-terrains. It made them feel clunky. That, and the much narrower toe box made them a no for me. They are really cute though—much dressier than the barnyard boots.

They were stiff. I'm not sure if they break in with time?! I had to return them because they were not wide enough.

Ordered the wide couldn't get my foot in! No amount of break in could have fixed it. Other than that, an attractive boot. But alas, it was returned for a lack of function. And apparently this site won't let any reviewers have the same name.

Darker than pictured, and on the brown there's more contrast between the color of the boot and the color of the "trim" on the heel and side than I would like (or is pictured)

I love the style and quality of these boots and were very comfortable on my feet but the tops were too snug on my calves.

I wanted these boots to fit so bad! They have such rave reviews, but my feet and these boots do not jive. Just an overall weird fit. They were too roomy, but yet not wide enough. There was too much "space" between the top of my foot and the boot, but yet too narrow on my foot. Also, I didn't feel like there was much cushion.

Java color is very rich and deep, it looks lovely. The boots feel well made. I normally wear an 8 regular but ordered an 8 wide after reading some reviews about the boots being narrow. It didn't help at all unfortunately, and the boots are very tight even when trying on with thin socks. I plan to try a size up (still in wide width) and see if there's any improvement.

Trying to find the right fit with these boots has been difficult I do not like a shoe that pinches too much in the toes but of course the first one that I ordered was very narrow in the foot and toe area so I ordered a wide and a half size up but the wide came in with little improvement in the toe area and way too much space in the ankle to where it was flopping around when I walked. Ordering for the third time in a size up and not a wide

I purchased these last year in the fall, they have held up very well. Unfortunately wearing them everyday has lead me to foot pain, even insoles didn't help me unfortunately. Great for a day or so, not so great for an everyday wear item.

I'm sad that these gorgeous looking boots aren't comfortable like the other 3 kinds of great Ariat boots I have. This Wexford boot is very stiff and has very little arch support, making my feet sore. I can't wear them all day, and definitely not to walk my dogs in hilly countryside.

I had bought these boots and really struggled with sizing. I have communicated honestly with customer service to say I have tested wearing the boots 4 times and they are too big despite being a half size smaller than my usual size. There is no ankle support. The boots are immaculate and hardly worn yet they will not accept a return so I can purchase a more suitable size. Considering the price it is disappointing.
