Love these boots! I mainly bought them as a waterproof option for traveling in Ireland...something a little nicer than rubber rain boots. So far, the waterproofing is great. I expected them to be a little stiff when I first put them on and they were, so just walk around in your home for a few hours/days before you commit to keeping them. Clearly they are taller than booties, so they feel pretty and awkward around the ankle at first (at least to me). I have been wearing them a lot to break them in before my trip -- so far, so good! My feet are flat and widest just below my toes, and this boot's foot bed is perfect...not too wide, not too narrow. For comparison, I tried the waterproof Italeau boots and they were way too narrow for my foot. I will add that the heel feels just a little bit like it's slipping around, but it's not to the point that it gives me blisters. And it's probably like that since this is a taller boot style that goes above your ankle, so you need that little bit of room in the heel to walk.

Beautiful Boots, well constructed. I wanted to wear heavier socks so I should have sized up. You can tell they are built well and will stand the test of time.

It has been quite a long time trying to find the perfect fitting boots! I have tried 4 different brands and finally found a pair that is comfortable right out of the box! They are so well made. The fit is perfect for my "little bit bigger than 8.5 but not quite 9" feet!! The leather is durable yet soft and I can tell these are going to be my "forever" boots!

It’s an 11 out of 10 for me. I adore these shoes. I accidentally spilled some oil-based sauce on them the other day and I am seriously considering dropping another $189 on these again because I love them that much. They ran TTS for me.

These boots are beautiful! Some reviews said they ran small; others said they were true to size. For me, they ran very smalI; probably a full size. If you can get the size right, they seem like a well made, long-lasting, comfortable boot.

These are fantastic work / riding boots. I am looking for something slightly more fashion forward so I’m returning them. But if you want a handsome durable , comfortable, and timeless Chelsea boot, get these. You won’t be disappointed. The leather is gorgeous — if it scratches, just massage it and the oils smooth it out — just like an aniline leather sofa. Over time, these will have a natural worn look that you can’t get with cheaper leathers.
