An outstanding boot of course, A beautiful fit for madame, who loves them. a perfect Christmas present madame said. We'd tried them on in a shop a few weeks earlier and they didn't have her size in stock. We decided they were too expensive anyway (with that Christmas present plan taking shape!) They arrived quickly well-packaged and with the strong plastic shoe horn thingies to keep them in good shape when not being worn AND a lovely canvas bag to keep them in. Practically an investment at this price, but worth it. Totally recommended.
2022 UPDATE: Well nothing lasts forever. It shows that these were made in Vietnam, the low quality stitching saw these fall apart in year 4. Okay, 4 years is not too bad for an item of footwear, but these were NOT worn daily and are NOT cheap. Note: nothing to do with leather care (we're good at that in this house too) it's the actual stitching that failed. Madame is nine stone something as well. Poor show ARIAT.
Consequently these arel - with the benefit of 4+ years of experience - now a lot LESS recommended.

I bought mine just under two years ago and they now leak and are cracked and are falling apart. This is the second pair that haven't made it to two years. I love then but they are best for people who don't go near mud or ride !!

This boot is so dang beautiful and I get lots of compliments on it, but after having them awhile I've come to realize they are not very comfortable nor do my feet stay warm in them. I can't wear them while doing chores where I walk up and down a hill, because they shift a bit and I get blisters. And I've worn them in winter durning some long day rides and my feet still freeze. I had already stretched them out and dirtied them up, otherwise I would have returned them. At least they are beautiful but somewhat disappointing-at least for me and my feet.

I have had these boots just over 2 years. They were bought for me as a present from my fiance. I meticulously look after them and clean, polish and treat them with a leather balm on a regular basis. The stitching has completely come away which has now left gaping holes in the boots, the leather is coming away from the soles of the boots and cracking, despite regular treatment. I am a huge fan of ariat and I have contacted them to ask what can be done, but because I don't have a receipt as they were a gift, no help can be given. I am so unbelievably disappointed that after 2 years I am having to spend hundreds of pounds more on some boots. The boots are comfy and warm, but not at all made for purpose. I don't over use them and I don't ride in them. I only have one horse, so they are literally used for an hour a day during winter months if that.

I bought these boots after returning a cheaper pair of "waterproof" Ariat boots because they were not waterproof. I assumed that that much higher price on these boots meant that they would be much higher quality than the previous boots that I purchased. Nope. These boots are beautiful, but the leather is super thin, and it is definitely NOT full grain leather! It's the cheap leather that has a coating on it to make it look like good leather. The slightest scratch goes right through that coating, and the coating has already worn off my boots. I've had them for about three months, and don't wear them very often, so they should not be showing signs of wear like they are. Also, the zippers on both boots get stuck every time I try to take them off and I have to completely unlace them to get them off. As much as I paid for these boots, I am incredibly disappointed in their quality. If you're going to buy these boots, I hope you don't plan on actually wearing them to the barn or riding in them, because they will not last!

I purchased these boots and although they are beautiful, they are not wearing well! The left boot is showing much more wear then the right! I'm very meticulous about cleaning and conditioning, and these photos are after less then 10 rides in the boots. Love Ariat but will not be recommending these boots to anyone! Contacted customer support with no response. Very disappointed.

These boots are so stylish, I didn't mind the price. I didn't even mind the slick soles or the fact that the zipper bites. One slipped foot in the creek, though, and my foot was soaked. I'm so upset that I didn't test the "waterproof leather" when I could still return them. Ariat is known as such a good brand, I assumed I was getting what I paid for. These boots are only a few months old, and I've only worn them a few times. I wanted to work in these beautiful boots for years to come. Too bad I'm finding out too late that they're useless to me.
