I was so amazed by the softness and smell of the leather (I think I've even hugged the darn thing a few times). This is the perfect piece if you're looking for a western or rugged bag. I purchased it to go with some of my Steve Madden (Free Bird) boots.

This is a really beautiful bag but for me it was just too large. I love large handbags-- usually the bigger the better, for me-- but the issue, for me, with this one is the combo of the size and the shape. Though the leather is really soft, and bag remains structured width wise because of the horizontal interior divider, so it doesn't "smoosh down" when carried on the arm or cross body the way I hoped it would. I think this would make a marvelous work tote (you can fit a laptop in it) but I was looking for more of a big purse style and so it was a miss for me. But on the plus side, the leather is gorgeous and the distressing is perfect. I didn't find the bag to be too heavy either. I'm going to check out the other styles from this brand in the hopes of finding a style that's more in line with what I am looking for because I am definitely impressed with the quality and appearance.

I thought about this bag for two days before buying it, and I'm glad I did. The photo doesn't do it justice. It's made of a high quality leather that smells delicious. It seems very durable. I put my MacBook Pro laptop in it to head to the coffee shop. It fit well with extra room. Next time, I'll put my case around my laptop. This bag will handle both easily without the bag highlighting the contents because of the way it could sag if it were lightweight leather. There was also plenty of room for my wallet, cellphone, keys, lipsticks, pens, and my Kindle oasis. As others have noted, it's a big bag, but not TOO big. In other words, it's fashionable. The distressed look is perfect for me. It doesn't look fake at all. This bag is perfect with jeans and your coolest streetwear. I'm sure this will be perfect on one of my not infrequent airplane trips--it will fit the laptop, iPad, Kindle, wallet, and has an outside pocket for my ticket. Enjoy this if you buy it. It's worth the money if you're looking for a bigger bag that can fit a laptop.

Loved this purse, just wish it was smaller. I put a few things in it to try it out and it was super heavy and bulky. I also noticed the little tassels on the handles were all crunched up from being in box. Didn't have long enough to see if they would have straightened out. Just too big - great quality but not for me.

This is a great weekend bag. It's more luggage, as other reviewers have said, than everyday purse. It's beautifully made. The leather is gorgeous and supple. It's comfortable and has lots of room.

LOVE this bag and all things Bed Stu! Great leather and craftsmanship. Two details that could improve my rating:1) The color black was really more brown and 2) the sewn edges are "raw" and for the price of the bag, should be treated with some sort of sealant to protect the seam edges from further wear over time.

This bag is amazing! The leather is so soft and beautiful! The pockets are perfect for all the little things. The straps are great for whichever way you want to carry it. The shoulder strap is completely adjustable. I do wish the snap to close it was a little more magnetic for easy closure but it’ll do.

Amazing bag!!! Rich, supple leather, high quality all around. It smells wonderfully of leather conditioner and glows with a clean shine. The removable shoulder strap is now fully adjustable with a slide buckle. Incredibly high quality, and kudos as always to Zappos for great service and quick shipping.

I LOVED THIS BAG!!!!!! Alas it was simply too large for daily carry. It’s beautiful, has great pockets, comfortable. I highly recommend if the size works for you.

Just too big for daily use so I ended up returned it for another leather bag that was smaller. The bag otherwise was nice and had plenty of room for my every day things. This would be a great commuter bag for a laptop.

This bag is gorgeous! The leather is so soft. It feels like I’ve owned it for years. It is very large and can fit everything. The outside pocket is perfect for a phone and the inside pockets are perfect for keys or anything you need to grab quickly. Love the magnetic closure. The handles are nice and big so you can easily grab it and the cross body strap is wide enough so it doesn’t dig into my shoulder. Beautiful weathered look.

I needed a new laptop bag, and leather is my go-to. This bag isn't as structured as, say, a "briefcase", but I was ready for a more feminine take on a laptop carrier. This bag is beautiful! I got the black lux, which is mostly black with some brown undertones. Therefore, it will go with anything I wear! It stands up and holds its shape pretty well while not being carried. The leather smells AMAZING; however, it does come shipped with a warning that it may bleed onto other surfaces or materials...we'll see. I am so happy that I bought this unique, gorgeous bag!

I needed to replace my large bag and was looking for something large and brown "natural color" leather. So I gave this bag a chance and don't regret it! It's large with enough pockets and I can wear it on my shoulder with the regular handles. Just love it!

A BEAUTIFUL Bag! Gorgeous leather; roomy interior with several choices for securing/organizing items. Heads up..it is quite large; somewhere between an overnight carry on bag and a large purse for the confident woman- as we all should be! The shoulder strap is adjustable, and perfectly sized for a diagonal carry. LOVE IT!!

Oh, my gosh. This bag is amazing and beautiful. The leather is so soft. The short handles are cushioned and comfortable. The zippers on the pockets are very sturdy and strong. There are cell phone pockets on the inside. The zipper pocket in the middle is big and perfect for valuables.

Beautiful bag! Quite large-BUT compared to a tote, this works just as well. Be sure to immediately apply leather protectant to waterproof and protect it. It's truly a bargain for what you get. It's very well made. I'd recommend this item to anyone who is looking for a change and wants a stylish bag. This is not the average Coach bag you see others wearing. It's a true one of a kind. That's the sole reason why I purchased it, as I tend to follow my own crowd and like items that are new in fashion and obviously not what everyone else would have. The only con is the removable strap could use more holes in it; but I can do that myself or have a shoe repair add a few in for me.
