I wear a 9.5 or 10 in shoes, depending on the brand. I recommend that if you are between sizes, you size down -- these 10s were too large. In addition, I ordered wides and mediums to see which would fit better - I can wear either, again depending on the brand and the cut of the shoe. If this is you, I'd recommend to go with the medium -- I found that the mediums fit just fine (in size 9.5) and the wides were too large. I bought both these and the Valli 2.0 boots. While they are very similar and both cute, I found these Villas to be less comfortable in the ankle. The lower shaft meant that they were rubbed awkwardly at times, and unlike the Valli 2.0 there was no padding around the top. I'm sending the Villas back and keeping the Vallis.

This brand was recommended while I was looking for booties to bring on a late fall trip to Europe. They are nice looking and fit me true to size, but just didn’t work for me. They hit at a bad spot for me on my ankle - not quite high or low enough, and are just a little narrow for one of my problem toes. If I had really liked them I would have paid to get them stretched just a little wider on the one foot (I’ve done this a few times and it’s worked great), but it was not true love with these boots, and at this price point I want at least to really like them!!

I love that these come in wide sizes. Exactly what I needed. The only reason these were returned was because I had a 8W, and needed a 7.5W (out of stock). The black leather was nice - had a bit of a weathered look already - and I love that these are waterproof. These are attractive enough shoes, but were missing a little pizazz (okay, two reasons I returned them).

1/2 size too big, otherwise very comfortable

In my normal size 7M these fit almost a full size too large. I sized down to 6.5M and the fit was a tad narrow. On my 3rd try I got 6.5W and they fit perfect. My feet are on the M/W side with high arches/instep/bunions. These are comfy, look cute with shorts, skinny jeans/pants, skirts and dresses. They're also light weight which is a huge plus for travel. Purchased in color black and mushroom. Highly recommend.

I am almost always size 8, but the 8 was way too roomy and I had to get a 7.5 in this shoe. I thought the 7.5 might be a little tight in the toes, but after wearing for 10 minutes it feels perfect. I was a little uncertain about ordering the olive suede as it looks dark beige/khaki in the photos but was afraid it might be too green in person. To me, the color in the photos is close. It is more taupe/khaki than what I think of as 'olive', slightly lighter and grayer than the photos, but with a subtle green undertone. I'm happy with the color as it's neutral and am glad to have shoes I can wear to work in New England winters. Time will tell how durable it is.

I wanted a waterproof bootie and love the comfort and style of these boots. They are a perfect all around color, don't seem to get dirty easily and look stylish. My only complaint is that the sole/heel is loud when walking. Meaning there is a clacking sound every time I walk -- certainly not going to sneak up on anyone with these boots on. My teen son always says I'm loud when wearing these boots. If the manufacturer made a quieter sole, these boots would be five star for sure.

I was so excited when I saw that these were waterproof...booties I don't have to worry about getting wet?! Score! I didn't realize how insulated they were until I received them though. I live in Hawaii and these are meant for a much colder place. I've been looking for an ankle boot that I can wear with jeans and dresses to work, around town, and comfortable enough to bring on a trip. I think these would be comfortable for walking around. The bottoms have more traction than a typical ankle boot which is nice. The heel size is perfect. I ordered the taupe nubuck in a size 8. The color and feel is lovely. The boots fit true to size. I have very narrow feet with high arches and I did have to exert a bit of effort to fit my arch into the shoe, but I'm sure they would have stretched with wear. One thing I didn't like about the shoe was the seams around the opening to the shoe rubbed my ankle bone. This may soften with wear, but I think it would definitely hurt at first. If the boots came up just a little bit higher this probably would be a problem. Unfortunately mailing these back. The search for the perfect bootie continues!

Overall, it's a nice basic bootie. Not much cushion. Loved the dark charcoal color. Unfortunately, it was too narrow at the ball of my foot and had to return.

The boot is big in the heel. My foot slipped around and my socks fall under my feet when the heel is big.

I usually love Blondos. This pair was no exception and had the same quality that I come to expect from Blondo. This pair was well made, I loved the material but they were too narrow and ran a little smaller than my Valli 2.0 (my favorite model from Blondo). I have upwards of 12 pairs of blondos and was purchasing these to replace a couple pairs that had gotten stained and I couldn’t clean.

Fit and size were very good on the Blood Villa Waterproof Bootie. The color Taupe Nubuck is greener than expected as mentioned. I sent back because within a couple of wearings the heel color started rubbing off on the back from driving with my heels on the floor of the car. See photos.

These booties were not comfortable for me. I have bunions and a narrow heel which makes finding a shoe challenging. These were not the right fit for me due to tightness across the toe area. I had to return them.

It is hilariously inaccurate to call these shoes "wide." I own other pairs of shoes in this brand in an 8 W that fit well, but in this style I couldn't even get the 8.5 W on my foot. I'm disappointed, because they look cute and seem as if they'd be very comfortable.

I bought these because I found them on a travel site recommended and some of the reviews stated they were good for walking and traveling. I'm usually a 9 in flats 9.5-10 in boots. I ordered the 9.5 first and my toes were right at the edge. I quickly reordered a 10 and they fit perfect. I cant speak to the comfort while walking long distances for something like city or in my case European travel, but I have high hopes these will be perfect for my trip to Tuscany in the spring to wear with pants and dresses.

I bought both the Villa and the valli waterproof booties. They are almost identical but this one, the Villa is slightly lower on the ankle and hit in a strange way. Going back but the Valli is a keeper!

I am giving this a 3 because when I receive the shoes, it looks like it’s been worn before and the left shoe has minor scratches on it. I only tried the shoes for a few minutes after I opened it.

First I ordered my regular size 8 1/2 W...but in no way was it wide width...so I sent those back and ordered a 9 W...again NOT wide but too long... so disappointed. Cute boot. If only it woud fit I'd have orderd it in several colors.

I actually love these boots - the only problem is that they dont hold up....i bought them mid February last year and they were falling apart by November (and i only wear them one or two days a week in the fall/winter - so its not from over use) but they are comfortable and look good...i just think for $150, they should last at least a year, but probably longer.

Completely disappointed in this shoe! The sizing is so off that it’s hard to believe! I initially ordered a 7.5 W. It was in fact NARROW! I took a chance and decided to order an 8.5 W, and it was *at best* a normal width! Such a shame for such an expensive shoe, and one that is waterproof at that. With the sizing this demonstrably incorrect, I won’t be ordering Blondo shoes again. They need a serious look into their sizing.

I’m incredibly disappointed. My feet seem to have grown half a size or so, and many of my shoes are too narrow. Since I already have two pairs of Blondo booties, that sadly no longer fit, I wanted to try the wide version of the the Villa bootie. I tried an 8 wide instead of the 8 regulars that I already own, expecting to find a cute shoe. So you might imagine my disappointment to find that the wide was exactly the same size and width as the regular. In fact, my old brown bootie felt more spacious, I’m sure due to stretch. I feel like Blondo played a mean trick on me, and I’m done with this brand. Finding business casual, waterproof shoes is difficult, and now I need to find something else for wintery days at the big city office.

I'm a true 7.5. I only wear 7.5 on any shoes including sneakers. I have a fairly narrow foot but high arch so with that combo most shoes fit TTS. These fit when I tried them on but start to feel really tight across the width and toe area after maybe 1/2 hr and even worse if I'm doing a lot of walking. I don't find them to be any more padded or comfortable than a standard shoe. More comfy than Nine West but typical Lucky Brand type comfort. Not like a "comfort" shoe at all. Since they fit during try-on but not during wear I can't return them now since I didn't realize how tight until walking in them for a bit. Bottom-line expensive shoes in the Goodwill bin. Bummer.

I purchased the taupe nubuck to wear on a trip to Greece and Italy because I wanted a waterproof bootie that was both practical and stylish. They are very comfortable and are now my favorite booties.

These shoes are awesome. I put orthotics in them and wore them walking around Ireland for a week in May. Despite the rain and all the walking, my feet felt fine and the shoes still look great! I love the waterproof quality of these shoes. Stylish yet functional!
