Gorgeous waterproof boot. I couldn't get my foot in it, but it is solid construction and built for bad weather. Would have to order a 10.5 to get it past my arch with the zipper. Blondo makes great shoes and I've tried a bunch on, not sure what size I'm really supposed to be. Bummed to send these back

I'm so so sad I couldn't make this style work for me. I've been waiting for two years for Aquatalia or Blondo to come out with a cognac, not suede ankle bootie with a low heel. These are beautiful, but the sizing was off for me. My regular size was too tight in the toe and one size up was too big in the heel. Tearing up as I return them.

Stylewise, the heel is a little too masculine for my taste, but considering that I got it for soggy New England weather, it's still really cute for a rainboot. I like that I can dress it up and down, and it can be paired with a variety of outfits -- pants, dresses, etc. The waterproofing is great -- honestly, if you're looking for a rainboot that you can comfortably wear all day, these are a great choice. I'm an 8.5 (9 in sneakers). My feet are narrower -- I usually default to M but occasionally wear N. I also have slim ankles. I got these in 8.5M and they fit like second skin, which is to say that it hugs every contour of my foot without feeling tight. I would never be able to wear thick socks with these, so if you have average-width feet, you will probably find the M width too tight, esp. in the toebox area. I also think if you have high arches, you will have problems putting the shoe on. In terms of comfort, they don't have the most cushion, so if you're looking for a pillowy walking experience, you might be disappointed. But for just walking to/from work, and at work, and climbing stairs, etc., I haven't had any discomfort. Overall, it's a really cute, versatile, sophisticated rainboot.

I have a pair of Sam Edelman Petty's and love them but wanted a little higher heel. I take an size 8.5 in both and they fit almost the same. I have really skinny ankles. The Petty's have a smaller opening so look tighter around my ankle which I prefer. These aren't too big, but definitely bigger so I think they don't look quite as tailored. I love that they're waterproof and they are super comfortable, even when walking all day.

Very cute and comfortable. I wear the Sam Edelman Petty and this is comparable. Color is quite different than online, though. Taupe Nubuck is actually very dark brown.

I just love these boots! They are flattering to my foot, look classy for work, and are comfortable. My only small complaint is that for the money I paid for them, I would have expected a little better arch support. That said, I added some arch support inserts and problem solved. (I do like a lot of arch support for my high arches). Despite that, I'd totally recommend these shoes. I've also tested their waterproof claim and haven't had any concerns or issues!

Love this boot - absolute beauty! I was looking for a cute waterproof boot for NYC weather - be it slushy snow or rainy rain. Tired of wet soggy socks, I turned to Zappos. First test I did after receiving the boot was stick it under running water to see how "waterproof" it really was. The water slid right off and looked to be doing pretty well. The only issue was I did experience some dampness and I believe the culprit was the side zipper - some water must've gotten in. Decided with the slight heel, I would probably be fine to not get water into the shoe too often. I'd recommend this boot to everyone! Comfortable right away and did not need much breaking in. I'm normally a size 8.5 or 9 and went with the 9 on this one just to be safe (hate when shoes are too small). Glad I made the right decisions - fits perfectly! Got the black leather and it's lovely. A true matte black (not suede) with some shine at the toe area. Gorgeous!

Beautiful boot but tighter than normal for a size 7.

These are exactly what I wanted: Super cute and versatile and comfortable with waterproof feature!! Unfortunately I have sensitive ankles and shins and the top front of these kind of dig into my lower shin/ankle when I walk. I do not think they will soften quick enough for me so sorry to return.

Love the quality of this boot; however, it's just a bit too snug even with a very thin sock. Excellent quality for the price! Will have to go back.

I tried these on in black suede in a store and really liked them but ordered both the suede and black leather to compare them. I chose the black leather because it looked nicer and like it would hold up for longer. Both are weatherproof, which is really important in Seattle. These are very comfortable, but the black leather ones feel smaller than the black suede by about a half size. I normally wear a 7.5 and am wearing a 7.5 in the black leather, but they are a little tight on my toes on one foot. For reference, I have narrow and low-volume feet.

I was pretty comfortable in this shoe (still have yet to wear it for an 8 hour day though lol) and loved that it was waterproof!! Just wish it came in a lighter brown color instead of all darker tones. But not a huge deal since I still like the shoe very much! There's not a WHOLE lot of width to it so my toes are a tiny bit crammed and I'd only probably notice if I had the shoes on for 8+ hours. Again, only time will tell! Definitely going to look into more Blondo shoes :)

These are really cute simple black boots that can be dressed up or down. I did notice that the heel is already scuffing after one wear but they still look nice and are comfortable. I ordered my normal size which fit great, but needs to be worn with thinner socks.

Run small, will be ordering the next size up

This boot fit the best of the 3 (!!!!) I ordered hoping to find my dream boot. But the color was blah. Called taupe -- looked kind of olive in certain lights, kind of brownish. Blah. Unfortunately, I already had shoes in the other colors. Nice casual heal height. Grateful for the waterproofing. Still in search of right bootie.

These shoes are very comfortable and cute, but the sizing was tricky for me. I first ordered them in my regular size of 7.5 but they felt like I was squeezing my foot into a shoe that was a whole size smaller. The shaft opening was small and the zipper was rubbing against my ankle. I got a size 8 sent to compare, and they were very roomy, like I would expect if I put on a shoe that was larger than my regular size. The shaft was much wider with no rubbing against my ankle. They're a little bigger/looser than I would prefer, but much better than being too small. I needed warm, weatherproof booties so I decided to keep them. I'm not sure why there was such a big difference between a size 7.5 and an 8 though. I have a friend who has the same shoe (different color) in a size 7, and I tried them on to see if I could figure out what was going on with sizing, but they felt more like my size 8. So confused. Most people don't seem to have the problems with sizing that I did so don't let that stop you from getting this bootie. They are very cute and practical and worth the hassle.

This is a very attractive boot and the Mushroom color is indeed the perfect neutral that would go with just about anything. Unfortunately I found it somewhat difficult to get my feet into & it felt too confining. Mind you, I have low arches and a wide forefoot. It's very difficult for me to find stylish boots that are comfortable for any length of time. Guess I'll have to stick with Uggs.

I really wanted to love these boots. But they are too loose in the ankle, and without any support my foot slides too far down, mashing my toes into the front. They are going back. I'm still looking for a cute waterproof bootie that I can actually wear.

True to size. Feel great. Will keep them. But they are not brown like they look in pix!!! Or "taupe". They are an almost army drab green/brown. Def a neutral that can work for me but I thought they were the nice medium brown shown and not so.

I was looking for a smart waterproof bootie to wear during a trip to Europe in December and I think these are the ones! The look good with jeans, will look good with leggings, a dress, etc. I got the black suede in my true 7.5 size and they fit well ( I have a wide-ish B width). Won't be able to wear a heavy sock but I hate wearing heavy socks in any shoe other than a sneaker. The suede looks great, heel is good, love the side zipper. They feel slightly stiff in the heel but had no problem wearing them the first time. They are sleeker and smarter than they appear in photo. So far, worth it!

I've only worn them once, but they are very comfortable and don't seem to need a lot of break-in time. These days I'm between an 8 and an 8.5, but I went with the 8.5 based on other reviews. The real test will be when I try them in snow/wet conditions; hoping the tread will be decent enough to do the basic schlepping between car and destination. I live in the mountains and function is important, but I also want some style. These boots are cute and hopefully will do the job once it starts snowing.

Beautiful, cute boots. Unfortunately the heel is a bit wide, even though I went down a half size. I've decided to try a heel insert to keep them from slipping. The color mushroom is perfect.

I love the look and the heel height but I would say it runs about a half size large. The dark grey is a perfect color. Suede AND waterproof!

Cute shoe but a little too big. I have medium-wide feet, but not too wide. 8M was just too big.
