I usually have trouble breaking in new boots and booties. These so far have been easy. Going to put an insert in them just to insure all day comfort.

A 6.5M is always the right size for me. However this boot runs narrow requiring me to reorder the boot in a 6.5W. I have never had to purchase a "wide" size, but it is a much better fit for me. The heel is a bit wide, but the foot bed is right. Can wear a thin footy to improve the heel. Particularly in the almond toe styles, this boot is narrow and it even looks narrow as my foot stretches out the width of the boot across the foot and toes. You know that look when your little toe bumps out in a shoe or boot. And not comfortable if too narrow for your foot. Love the boot.

I am a size 7.5-8 and I originally purchased these in an 8. I don't have wide feet but the 8 was way too narrow and really uncomfortable. I purchased an 8 Wide and it was perfect. Really cute boots and I love that they are waterproof.

Rubbed my ankle. Had they not they would have been keepers.

These have really nice tread on the bottom, and have a trim ankle - a rarity in a wide bootie. My toes just felt pinched. The width wasn't quite enough for me.

This is my second pair - I have another pair in the mushroom color. Love these shoes. Very comfortable and super cute with jeans!

Loved the look of this and the fact that it is waterproof. However, I was specifically looking for a boot to wear while walking on vacation. This was very uncomfortable on the ball of my foot. It was like there was a piece of wood in the boot right where the ball of my foot was located. Had to return. Found a Born boot (Sylvia) that was just as cute and a lot more comfortable!

The shoe is runs a little big, which is great if you want to wear wool socks to keep your feet warm, not so great for tights or pantyhose- my feet slide a lot. The outside of the shoe looks and feels great, definitely waterproof (like stated in description), I wore them on a cold rainy day and my feet stayed dry. The inside of the shoe looks and feels cheap though, this really surprised me, however I still bought a second pair because who sees the inside of your shoe??? Overall, I would recommend this item to others.

So I am surprised that these boots fit, despite the negative points of no arch support and a bit narrower than anticipated. They really are beautiful in person. I ordered a 12W, and the toe box is a bit narrower than i expected, but not so much so that i won't wear them. I do wish the shaft was about 2 inches taller than it is. This really is an ankle boot, true to it's labeling of "bootie". But it fits my orthodic inserts just fine. The angle of the foot bed leaves a bit to be desired, i was looking for something with less of an angel, but they're ok once you get used to them. I am pleased with them,. and will be keeping these boots. I haven't worn them outside yet in the snow or wet. Here's hoping they hold up!

These shoes are so versatile, you can dress them up or wear them casually. I’m a teacher an always on my feet during the day. These shoes feel good and at the end of the day my feet aren’t throbbing like most booties. My only complaint is the heel peeling like others have mentioned in their reviews.

I really wanted to love these boots. They are highly recommended on May travel websites, waterproof, really stylish/flattering. Unfortunately, they just are not comfortable. They feel a half size too big, but I fixed that with an insole. The problem is there doesn’t seem to be any padding in the ball of the foot. Walked 1/2 of a mile in them on my treadmill and the ball of my foot ached. As I was buying them to walk a lot around Europe. They didn’t suit my needs.

Cute boot, comfortable, seems well made. Fit was about a half size too small, though.

These booties (Blondo Villa, gray) were a gift for my sister. Out of the box they are beautiful - deep gray, quality heel, and smart-looking style. They ran small - had to exchange for 1/2 side larger. She was very pleased with the bootie and the larger size was just right. Easy on, easy off. Cannot speak yet to the "waterproof-ability" but will get a Colorado workout.

The grey is really pretty. Wide width feels good. I feel like I can walk for a decent distance with these. I have not owned them long. They seem well made and classic looking.

I bought these and the Victoria. Sent the Victorias back. These are worth the extra $50 as I could not even get my foot into the Victorias due to the styling. These boots were very hard to get on for me initially due to the stiff curved, pre-formed heel design, but after a few wears, it loosened up and now is not a problem. So if you are having that problem too, give them a few wears before returning them and you may end up keeping them. I am so pleased with these boots and can't beleive they are THIS stylish abd beautiful AND waterproof. I have not put them to the waterproof test yet. I was concerned that they might not breathe enough due to the waterproofing, but have worn them several times for 10+ hours with no problem. My husband, who has never noticed a pair of footwear I have on unless I specifically ask him to, saw me in them the first time and kept saying "You look so sexy!". They are comfortable, for a heeled boot, made of sturdy leather and materials, don't slip on wet surfaces, look well-made and fit beautifully. I do think they look cheaper than they actually are. I expect them to hold up well and become one of my favorites, but why not, if my husband thinks I look sexy in them?!

These would require an insert and a 1/2 size large to accommodate it if you were going to be doing a lot of walking. They're cute in person and are waterproof so just consider comfort and plan ahead. I returned for a black pair as the gray didn't quite work for me.

So based on reviews where most people said they ran narrow, that is correct they do. The wide is like a regular fit. Half the people wrote that these shoes ran small and half wrote that they run big. They run small a full size. I can’t tell about the comfort because they were so small. I ordered a larger size and in wide. Hope they fit. They are very cute shoes.

Great shoes - I have two pair now because they fill a need. They are perfectly comfortable for about a mile or so of walking, so good for commuters, but I wouldn’t want to wear them all day around Disneyland, for example. I have the mushroom color in suede and the black leather. I get compliments on both pairs all the time. They go great with jeans or skirts/dresses. I highly recommend.

I'm so sad that these boots didn't fit, because they are really cute. I normally wear a 7 but found the 7 too big and the 6.5 too small. I have a normal-width foot but a very narrow ankle, so I think that caused the 7 to fit so large.

I tried the 9 in wide and medium and the 9 1/2 in wide and medium. Finally went with the 9 wide. The 9 1/2 was too long in both widths. Wore them all day at work and very comfortable.

Easy, practical, and nicely styled minimalist boots. Not the most exciting but I have worn them several times already and only had them a week. They go with everything.

Great boot! So comfortable, out of the box. I have just returned from NYC where I walked 4.8 miles on Tuesday and 6 miles on Wed in these boots. I bought them specifically for my work travels to Northeastern cities this winter. The weather was dry this week, so I haven't experienced the waterproof features yet. They are substantial all over, that's my overall feeling. My foot is supported. Unfortunately, I did something that scraped the suede/leather on the back of 1 heel, which is my reason for dropping to 4 stars. I'm not even aware of when it happened - likely my foot brushed the concrete as I stepped off a curb. I feel like suede covering a white plastic heel is pretty fragile for the nature of these boots, being a choice for outdoors/winter wear. I hope my shoemaker can camouflage the damage since they're new. Also, it would be great if the plastic underneath were black, so it wasn't as noticeable. I am a shoe-repeater once I find a great fit, so I'll be getting at least 1 more color. I have a wide foot, so appreciate the choice of widths. I bought these in my usual 8.5W, and can wear a medium weight sock.
