Amazing

These would require an insert and a 1/2 size large to accommodate it if you were going to be doing a lot of walking. They're cute in person and are waterproof so just consider comfort and plan ahead. I returned for a black pair as the gray didn't quite work for me.

I have been looking for this style of boot for years, but until now have been unable to find any this comfy and available in a wide width. The heel is perfect, the Mushroom and Dark Taupe suede are beautiful. They are roomy enough to add a cushioned insole, which makes them perfect. Thanks, Zappos, for your quick delivery and easy returns policy, which allows me to find the perfect shoes for my problem feet. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Love the style, but as one of the other reviews stated, the heel is what looks to be plastic covered with some sort of fabric. There was already a spot on the left heel right out of the box, so I didn't even try them on. I need a shoe to hold up better than that. Nothing tackier than scratched up heels (IMHO).

So based on reviews where most people said they ran narrow, that is correct they do. The wide is like a regular fit. Half the people wrote that these shoes ran small and half wrote that they run big. They run small a full size. I can’t tell about the comfort because they were so small. I ordered a larger size and in wide. Hope they fit. They are very cute shoes.

Ordered these because of the waterproof claim and heal height, but sadly, when zipped up they are tight around my ankle and rub it uncomfortably. I could see a blister coming around the ankle. Thanks to Zappo's great try and buy policy, I returned them and went with a similar Edelman shoe.

Beautiful Bootie. I usually wear an 8 or 81/2 M. I ordered an 8 feel I could have used a 71/2 in this style. Unfortunately I returned them.

These booties are truly waterproof! I took them out in the rain yesterday and was very happy with their performance. They are also very comfortable (I live in NYC and walk far distances). Finally, the lining is a nice feature for winter. The only minor drawback is that they can rub around the top because the leather is quite rigid, but if you have socks that are thick and tall enough, this is not a concern. I agree that they are like the Sam Edelman Petty's (which I also own), but slightly less stylish. They make up for it in functionality though.

These boots are super cute and the Mushroom suede color goes with everything. They are pretty comfy and I have no complaints about the fit except that the back of the shoe cut into the back of my leg a little bit the first few times I wore it (but really, not badly at all). Now I wear them at least 2 days every week, often more. My main complaint is that the heels are SO loud! My husband likes to make fun of me while we’re walking around on hard floor surfaces. The loud steps make me feel like I seem high-maintenance. Wish the heels were a softer material, but still worth 5 stars.

I tried 6.5 wide and 7 wide. The difference in size was extreme. While the 6.5W was really tight, the 7W gaps in the heel even after adding a heel cushion with a full foot pad on top of that. Too bad. Cute bootie.

I have a fairly typical wide foot (D width) and these fit wonderfully. they do minimize the appearance of a wide foot and I finally have footwear that looks stylish and not old-fashioned. The mushroom color is perfect - as its so neutral virtually goes with everything! I find them really comfortable for long periods and I am going to buy another color!

Great shoes - I have two pair now because they fill a need. They are perfectly comfortable for about a mile or so of walking, so good for commuters, but I wouldn’t want to wear them all day around Disneyland, for example. I have the mushroom color in suede and the black leather. I get compliments on both pairs all the time. They go great with jeans or skirts/dresses. I highly recommend.

I'm so sad that these boots didn't fit, because they are really cute. I normally wear a 7 but found the 7 too big and the 6.5 too small. I have a normal-width foot but a very narrow ankle, so I think that caused the 7 to fit so large.

I love the style, fit and comfort of these boots. They look really nice with leggings and jeans. I was a little worried about the heel height, but the heels are solid stacked sueded waterproof leather and as a result they feel very stable. To protect my knees I plan to use an orthotic arch support when wearing them for an extended period of walking or standing.

I often wear a size 6, but these fit best in a 5.5. Super comfortable and cute, perfect for work or casual.

I tried the 9 in wide and medium and the 9 1/2 in wide and medium. Finally went with the 9 wide. The 9 1/2 was too long in both widths. Wore them all day at work and very comfortable.

Easy, practical, and nicely styled minimalist boots. Not the most exciting but I have worn them several times already and only had them a week. They go with everything.

I love these booties! I bought them to wear through the cold, damp outer islands of Northern Scotland. They were perfect. They are comfortable and stylish; you can dress them up or dress down with them allowing me to pack one less pair of shoes. I wore them without socks and on colder days I used wool footie socks. I've recommended them to several people who have since purchased them and also love them.

These boots are fabulous. I had searched for a low-heeled bootie for good foot support, after emerging from an orthopedic boot after breaking my foot several months ago. These are very comfortable, look great, and elicited complements from friends on both occasions I have worn them. Both were dry days, but I am hoping they are as water/weatherproof as advertised.

Great boot! So comfortable, out of the box. I have just returned from NYC where I walked 4.8 miles on Tuesday and 6 miles on Wed in these boots. I bought them specifically for my work travels to Northeastern cities this winter. The weather was dry this week, so I haven't experienced the waterproof features yet. They are substantial all over, that's my overall feeling. My foot is supported. Unfortunately, I did something that scraped the suede/leather on the back of 1 heel, which is my reason for dropping to 4 stars. I'm not even aware of when it happened - likely my foot brushed the concrete as I stepped off a curb. I feel like suede covering a white plastic heel is pretty fragile for the nature of these boots, being a choice for outdoors/winter wear. I hope my shoemaker can camouflage the damage since they're new. Also, it would be great if the plastic underneath were black, so it wasn't as noticeable. I am a shoe-repeater once I find a great fit, so I'll be getting at least 1 more color. I have a wide foot, so appreciate the choice of widths. I bought these in my usual 8.5W, and can wear a medium weight sock.

Pretty chic looking bootie. I have a really old pair of Blondos in a 7.5 WW, which I have loved and worn the heck out of. I haven't been able to find the Blondos in WW anymore, which is so unfortunate. I love that they are waterproof, but I was looking for something a little beefier to stand up to bad Pittsburgh winters. These would serve for style on a rainy/snowy day, but probably not for a beater boot.
