I love this bag SO much. I HAD to give it 5 stars even though it has one major flaw: It needs to be made in more fabric and hardware options!! I check the site weekly to see if it's being made with gold hardware, or one of the newer printed fabrics. Baggallini--PLEASE expand the options!! I frequently change from shoulder to cross-body. The integrated wallet is super easy to access while also being super secure and safe. My 2 teenage kids are always asking me to hold their cell phones, and I feel like Mary Poppins -- it seems like I can always fit something else in the large compartment. YET, it has some STYLE! (and doesn't bulge out too much when I'm using it for MY daily use.) I have own only Baggallinis for years and this is by far my favorite. Organization and Style! Perfect! I just want to mix it up with some more colors and hardware that I see on other bags.

The clasp on my prior Provence Crossbody broke and since those cannot be effectively and efficiently repaired I was forced to buy a new bag. I did order the replacement style and have now used it for about two weeks. It is Iarger but surprisingly easy to carry, but I am trying to get accustomed to the differences from the former style, and having a problem placing the contents where I can find them!

I purchased the Provence bag.I wish it was made like it previously was with the two zippered inner pockets and the small outer one. The only reason I can figure out why you remove them is to save money for your company !

Was disappointed not to have a full built in wallet in front packet. Had another model with full wallet and it was great but needed more room. Also not crazy about such a practical purse having a flap that has to be latched every time even though it's only decorative since the zipper closes the compartment that the flap goes over.

I really like this purse, the only reason I gave 4 stars is because if it were 10.5 inches across or 11 inches it would be the perfect bag.
I've literally owned almost all baggallini bags. But some just miss the mark by needing to be bigger .

Pretty much love this bag. I find opening the flap and then the zipper somewhat clumsy, but there is the advantage of puttying very valuable or sensitive stuff in there. Hmmm. I like the size, I love the color of the ribbon strap. Thank you!

Replacing older bag of same model. Zippered pocket between outer flap and main body of bag is gone and WOW do I miss it already. Used to put rail card, hotel key card, passport, etc here when traveling and now have to dig thru purse where they're hard to find and susceptible to theft.

I received my Provence bag the other day. The red color is nice and was on sale! I do prefer the discontinued Parisian bag but this will work for me.

Really cute but didn't notice how skinny it is, so it can't hold the things I had in mind. Would be great for different uses.

I wish this were just a smidge bigger to accommodate my 8x10" planner I take to and from work. The jury is still out if keeping my cards and money in the pocket vs a separate wallet will work for me. I don't seem to prefer this, but I suppose I could still use a small wallet and keep it in that compartment. What I CAN cram in here: glasses in case phone in a case (in the back slip pocket) Kindle paperwhite (not in any kind of cover) Small bottle of medication lip balm small accessory bag keys ... and a little room to spare (brought a small apple to work one day in there with all this stuff. I got the "portobello," "porcini"? (some kind of mushroom name) color. I have another bagg in this color and I love it as a great neutral taupey color that goes with everything. The gold hardware really classes it up compared to my other mushroom color bagg with silver hardware. I feel it is fancier looking as a result. I would not hesitate to use at the symphony or out to dinner. Although Seattle is kind of casual. maybe not in Manhattan? Organization is as expected with baggs. Great pockets and the always present little extra accessory bag/wristlet that you can use however you want: money, cosmetics, do-dads, whatever. And for this rainy city I live in I am reassured that this purse won't get ruined if it gets some water on it, unlike my nice leather bags I use mostly in summer as a result.

I started using this bag when they discontinued (not sure why???) the paris bagg. it doesn't have as many pockets but it's still roomy and very organized. I wear it all the time since it has enough compartments to hold all my things.
the only thing I don't like it they way the strap is connected to the bag. it has a tendency over time to move and bunch up and makes it difficult to stay put and neat. I would prefer a connection like the criss cross bag.

I've had this style before and was excited to see the new patterns available. I knew there had been some changes to it, but didn't realize that the hidden pocket on the front was made much smaller. I've used it before as a perfect spot for my phone, but now it is too small. I will be returning it.

I own 2 of these bags which I bought a few years back and am disappointed to say that this newer version is not so great. Many previous features are missing such as the material, extra interior pokiest and wallet divider and coin pouch. Why don't you leave a good thing alone?

Love the bag, hate the strap. It looks and feels like an industrial belt. It is very uncomfortable on my neck and cuts into the skin. Also why not another row of pockets for cards. There is room. Also no slot for bills. Some of us still carry a few bills. Otherwise, I love this bag. It replaces another Baggallini bag, that I also loved, but it was just not big enough.

Sent the bag back because there were not enuf organizing slots. The clasp on the front is cumbersome and heavy.

I have several Bagallini handbags and the Provence was my absolute favorite until I ordered a new one. The design has changed and not for the better. The strap is slightly more narrow and the slide adjustment more awkward but the main reason I am unhappy is that the front pocket no longer has the inside zippered divider and it makes a big difference. This pocket is essentially the "wallet" and the inside divider pocket was important. Also, the blue was such a nice color but I don't see that it's available either. I am very disappointed and will not order this style again unless it changes back.

I had the older version of this bag for almost a decade, and it served me so, so well. So when the strap finally broke off from one side, I ordered the exact same bag again. Only this time, it has no room inside--which is weird because it looks at least as bulky from the outside somehow. And that stupid little pouch is no longer removable, so now it just pops out constantly and dangles. The key strap is now too short to be able to use keys while they are still attached to it. The old version was so functional. Thanks for ruining it, Baggallini.

About 4 years ago I bought my first Baggallini pocketbook. I loved that bag. After 4 years of constant use some of the stitching on the should strap gave out. I wanted the exact same bag as it met all my needs and wants. This bag looks the same but is far inferior. The old bag had a wider strap so the weight was better distributed. The older bag had a wonderful zippered exterior pocket for my iPhone. It was quick and easy to access. The new one has a slip pocket. I don't use it because I think the phone might slip out or bed pickpocketed. Last the old bag had another zippered pocket inside of the flap zippered pocket. This was a great place for me to stick some cash that was easily accessed in crowded situations with pulling out my wallet. The charcoal color is very nice. I did keep the bag because I didn't want to use my heavy leather bag. So sorry Baggallini made these changes because they had a great product originally, but I guess the new one is cheaper to produce.

I have many Baggallini bags and have always enjoyed them. Several months ago I purchased the Crossbody Provence. The ring that connects the strap to the purse CONSTANTLY rotates thus causing the strap to continually twist. Very frustrating. I finally had to sew the strap together by the ring so it wouldn't twist but then I lost the ability to adjust the strap. Make sure if you purchase one of the bags that it doesn't have this type of connecting ring.
Also....see other reviewer's comments.....same problem.
