ok, here i go. i'm all about buying local and have bragged about Carhartt to my out of state friend's for years and decided to purchase these vests for my son and grandsons for Christmas. Though they haven't even gotten them yet, they look like a nice quality item, HOWEVER, if you have to charge me more, please bring the manufacturing home!!!! Detroit/Michigan needs that part of the business, not just a storefront. My husband and i were disappointed to see made in Vietnam on the tag.

A little snug in the hips area but other than that this vest is excellent. Medium warmth and extremely stylish. Not in the remotest but bulky given its warmth level.

This vest is so comfortable and warm and the fit is great. I wear it most days and am glad it comes in several colors (I have therm all) so my coworkers don't think I wear the same thing everyday.
