This shoe is so cute I hated to have to send it back! The color, the material, the style were just what I wanted, but the toe box was too short. The rest of the shoe fit just fine and if I would have reordered in a half size bigger, the rest of the shoe would have been way too big, and my foot would have come out of it when I walked. Clark's toe boxes are always too long for me, so I can't order their sandals because I always have extra shoe sticking out, and so I feel safe in saying that this toe box is too short. It fit, but I was worried that longer wear would cause me problems. Sorry, Zappos, to do this to you, but I have too many shoes that don't fit perfectly. I always return within 24 hours and repackage everything carefully.

Generously sized. Super comfortable. I have a big, wide foot, but these shoes did not make my feet look big and clunky. They are definite keepers.

Very cute boot with a nicely padded footbed. I ordered my usual size in closed-toe shoes, and they fit well everywhere but in the heel, which was just a little too wide for my foot (even with socks). I had hoped to wear them on a trip, but I knew that after a day of walking around with my heel moving up and down in the boot, I'd likely end up with some nasty blisters. Regretfully, I returned them.

Thank you to all the reviewers here who wrote about how terrific this boot is. I ordered the dark brown which is so deep and rich and looks like a much more expensive leather than the price I paid. The wide firs exactly as it should, right out of the box, and I was able to remove the footbed and use my own custom orthotic. This is a truly beautiful, classic style...it read Western in the brown, but with the right accessories I think I can dress it up. I am going back for the black ones now. I am truly thrilled with this Hush Puppies style and fit! Also...Excellent shipping and service from Zappos, as usual.

These booties were really cute - loved the color, it fit my narrow foot well, but I didn’t like the zipper styling. Each (both sides of each foot) has a cumbersome zipper pull that flopped around when I walked. I ended up returning them.

Loved the look and feel of these booties, and I desperately wanted to keep them, but the very top front of the shoe rubbed against my shin and I knew that would not work for long days on my feet. Very soft leather and comfortable fit, though.

I think they are adorable! Unfortunately, they are too big for my narrow feet!

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!! I am very picky when it comes to comfort & so thankfull I choose this bootie. I didn't want all the bells & whistles for an everyday shoe. These can be dressed up or down. I have a difficult time with pull on boots because I have a very high arch. I do not like the boots either that just have the zipper on the inside of the foot...I think it ruins the design"flow". Sometimes 'pull on ones' are either too sloppy or I cannot get them over my arch. When I saw these they had 2 zippers!! one functional & the other for design. Perfect!! The wedge insole is barely noticible and gives a lot of comfort to the foot..I have had 'some' wedge insoles before which throws your foot to the front of the shoe which cramps your toes, but this does not. There is plenty of room in the toe cap. I purchased 1/2 up for thicker socks in the winter, but even without socks the shoe fits perfect on the M width. Sole is flexible w/ grip & it has a sturdy heel. If need be you could take it to a shoemaker to replace a rundown heel in the future ( my 'cobbler is a genius anyway') because of the sturdy construction. I just sprayed the dickens out of these boots with fabric protector because I purchased the taupe nubuck. I want them to last a long time ! I LOVE these! This is my second pair because I wore the other ones out after walking miles and miles daily for my job. It can be hard to find low cut wide with boots.

I wanted to love these but they weren't wide enough. They were very stretchy though. My foot fit, but my wide feet looked like they were wider than the soles. Returned.

great shoes for work, very comfortable, easy on/off. looks professional with a dash of hipster. Definately go a half size up if you have wide feet.

These boots were really cute, just a little too wide, especially around the ankle opening. The footbed was really comfortable, just wish they had been a little less wide at the ankle. Returned them.

I had to get a 9M instead of an 8.5W, so my fit experience is probably not the best to base a decision on. They feel a little wide at the ankle, so i feel like i am walking out of the shoes in the heels, while the widest part of my foot is a little squished. The insoles are a little slick, but otherwise very squishy and comfy. The zipper opening on the outside is a little weird, but tolerable. I don't have any issues with the inner placket as the leather is quite thin. I love the style - goes with skirts, pants, shorts. I totally dig these shoes and will order another pair when they come in my proper size. Or if they come in red.

These booties are very comfortable but the color was too light for me. I returned and exchanged it for the darker color and liked those much better.
