Cute boot. The interior zipper is non-functional. The other zipper opens, but with a backing so it does not spread fully. Too tight for a high instep.

I have these boots in another color and love them BUT this pair in black, has a very sticky substance around the edge of the sole. It would not run off and is on both boots, around the entire boot. I considered exchanging them for another pair but I saw other customers noted the same problem. The stick would pick up dirt and would be very messy if worn. Sorry to have to return them.

They were cute shoes but fr me they just didn't fit.

Felt way too big and hard on the insole. But very pretty.

These were cute boots and seemed well constructed, but there was a sticky substance all around the lower edges of both boots (maybe glue?) that took two washings to get off my hands. If I had kept the boots I'd have had to use alcohol or something to get that off. Super sticky. But cute style!

I have a high arch, high instep and with my orthotic which I need to combat plantar fasciitis the boot was too tight. I have looked in vain for 4 years. I am very sad that shoemakers do not make boots to accommodate these issues. I wear a size 9 W. I have to return. The boot was just exactly what I’ve been searching for.

I have these in gray and love them, so I ordered them in black in two sizes. The layer between the sole and the shoe is gummy and sticky (just as described in another review). I have not been able to eliminate this by wiping or leaving paper stuck on overnight. They will certainly collect debris, cat hair, etc. Have to return and hope Zappos will receive a new improved shipment!

These are very stylish boots, while being pretty comfy.

I bought this bootie last year and LOVED it! Was comfortable right out of the box! Have been wearing them all fall/winter and decided to get another pair since I have hard to fit feet so when I find a pair of shoes that are comfortable I usually buy another pair. Well I first tried the blue pair and they were very tight and I thought it was just because it was a slightly different leather than the black -- so I returned and ordered another black pair -- same size and width as the first pair. Unfortunately they fit the exact same way as the blue pair -- too tight on the instep and very difficult to zip. So I decided to try 1/2 size larger -- one foot felt comfortable (like my original pair) but the other foot was just as tight as the others I ordered. Unfortunately I think there is a lack of consistency in the manufacturing of this bootie. I'm very disappointed because I loved these booties!

Comfortable and stylish.

I bought these boots last year and loved them so much I decided to buy another pair. I bought the same size and width (wide) and they do NOT fit the same. More narrow and really difficult to zip them closed. The pair I bought last year fit perfectly right out of the box. I decided to try ordering another pair 1/2 size larger -- one boot felt perfect and the other was still too narrow. Very disappointed in the inconsistency of these boots.

I loved the fit and color and style but sadly had to return. For some reason the top of the bootie hit in the wrong place on my foot/leg front and was extrememly uncomfortable. Wish it was just a little lower or higher.

Cute shoe and the blue suede was a nice color. Ordered the wide size due to bunions but was still right across the toe box and not comfortable enough to keep. The shoe has zippers on both sides but the functional one was on the lateral/ outside foot. This was not a deal breaker but was quite awkward

I really wanted this shoe to work as I love the style and color. But my foot is narrow and the medium was just too loose. I knew it was a long shot and sadly I have to return it.

These shoes feel so good on my feet! I am shopping for some black booties for an upcoming trip to Europe, so I need the shoes to be super comfortable for lots of walking. I compared these to some Hush Puppies chukka boots. I preferred the look of the chukkas, but these were the winner, hands down, for comfort and support. The chukkas had very little cushion and arch support. These also beat out some Cobb Hill Anisa booties that I really liked that were cushy and supportive, but flared my plantar fasciitis. These feel as supportive and comfy as my Asics running shoes, but will look much classier and can be worn with pants or a skirt. I wear them with some Costco wool socks and still have room to wiggle my toes. Concerning others' comments about the zippers: The inside zipper is decorative and non-functional. The outside zipper has a gusset that opens when you unzip it, so when you zip it up, you tuck the gusset back in. I couldn't feel it there at all.

Awesome look and feel. Felt like I wasn't even wearing a shoe. Sleek look, good feel, no problems whatsoever. But the best part was the PRICE!!!! EVERYWHERE else that I looked for this shoe, it was listed at 20+ more dollars than Zappos. Thank you, Zappos!!!
