The dark brown rubber strip just above the sole is gummy and sticky all the way around! It was stuck to the tissue paper in the box and did not dry out after a few days...had to return.

Glad I ordered the wide -- sometimes I wear medium width, but I needed the wide for these booties. They're a little tight across the top of the arch & ankle opening, but there is plenty of room in the toe box. A little glue is oozing out around the midsole; I assume/home that will stop. I find the fake zipper on the inside (medial side) to be silly, rather than stylish.

Loved these boots! Color and style are great. But, the stitching and leather around the bottom of the opening zipper create pressure on the side of my foot. The boots are wide enough, it's the bulk of the zipper inset. So sad, I have to return them.

Love the low cut, soft feel of these boots! Easy in and out with the zippers. Immediately got a few comments that they looked great. Soft and comfortable feel and great color...the Wine color is beautiful and not as bright as expected.

These were very comfortable and I loved the color. I have to send them back, though. There was sticky goo all around where the sole meets the upper part. It was ridiculous. It ruins the bootie because there is no removing it. You would have it on your hands and clothes, it would pick up any debris and look terrible. How can Hushpuppies send out this product??? Very disappointed.

I discovered these booties several years ago. They are the perfect bootie for fall and winter. I spray them with a waterproofing spray just in case but they have held up well. They don't put pressure on my foot anywhere which is great for me since I have sciatica. They look really cute with jeans and leggings and casual pants. I hope they don't get discontinued!!

I've never purchased Hush Puppies before so I ordered my normal 7 wide, which fits me comfortably in nearly every other brand. These are more on the narrow side of medium. I could barely get my "normal" foot into them, and didn't even try to put it on the foot with the bunion. They are super cute, so needless to say I'm disappointed to have to return them. I'm not really interested in an exchange because I doubt any will fit.

This is the second time I have ordered these shoes in 3 years. This time ordered the taupe and love the color. Question is has anyone noticed the rubber soul feels like wet glue where it meets the leather? I don't remember this on the first pair. Its sticky and strange---rubs off on my fingers?
I'd hate to send them back on this alone---does it go away in time?

Well, two zippers and apparently one is for looks as it won't unzip and one for function. Love the style but they're at least a half size too large. I'm not only returning for the fit but where the sole attaches to the actual shoe there is excessive amounts of sticky glue. All over my hands from just touching them. Also I need a supportive shoe.

After considering the reviews, I took a chance on this shoe. It LOOKS like the shoe I need - a plain, casual leather shoe and with a grippy sole, to wear with jeans. They are cheaply made and they look it. They weren't even comfortable and they look clunky so back they go!

I had hoped the sticky glue around the outer sole area was a fluke, but it wasn’t. The glue would attract major dirt and look bad pretty quickly. The shoes look a bit clunky and were all around too big for me. I am disappointed because I have bought Hush Puppies shoes for years and like that they come in extended sizes.

Definitely go with the size Zappos recommends. I usually wear a 71/2, and Zappos recommended an 8. I was hesitant to order that size because I had just purchased a pair Hush Puppies loafers in a 71/2 and they fit great. The size 8 in this boot is spot on.
