The second step fits loose on size is received, so I actually would go with half size smaller than normal.

These were definitely comfortable and the wide width was perfect, but I'm sending it back because they didn't look that great on my feet. The toes could have come out just a tad longer (not for fit, but for style).

These shoes are beautiful....and I LOVE the suede for a "transitional heel" for Fall. The heel height is perfect for dressing up a pair of jeans, nice slacks for brunch/dinner, or even for work. When I first put them on, I also thought that the non-adjustable cross strap floated a bit too much....but as I had NO other shoes with me to wear to brunch, I wore them anyway, and they seemed to fit better at the end of my day than the beginning. I do, however, wish that strap was a bit tighter, perhaps with a little elastic, to make it fit tighter to the fit. Overall, though, very happy I bought them!

Just not for me, these are extremely cute but my foot has narrowed with age and they just did not fit well, Sadly I will return.

They were cute but I had to return them as they were not comfortable.

The nude pair of this shoe does not fit as well as the black pair.It is more stiff and the ankle closure rubs more right under the ankle bone. The pair I recieved had already wrinkled straps. The color is also a tan, not a nude. Very disappointed.

These shoes are tricky with respect to the fit. Size and width of the shoes are fine; the straps for the wide ones are too long, while the shoe fits perfectly. That makes me think that the length of the straps would be perfect on the regular width but the shoe would be too tight for me.

Had hopes for this shoe to be a good work day shoe. I'm between 8.5-9 wide. Ordered 9 since it has a pointed toe but shoe still not comfortable and it was too big. Also the color is more tan than the neutral I was looking for.

The picture in the other review was 'right on'. The width of the straps is way too loose. Otherwise, the shoe is very cute.

The color of these shoes was a bad choice for me. The straps are cute, but not in skin tone!

the fit was okay, but tooo hard to get on with one strap tight and the second strap too hard to buckle.....I couldn't buckle it.

Beautiful shoe...but the sizing was definitely half a size small. I have never worn an 8.5 in my life and that's what I had to order! I am still sending these back, though, because when I sized up the heel became less secure of a fit and I felt like I was going to slip and break my ankle. Also the toe box edge was rubbing against the top of my foot and I could anticipate that after a day of wearing them at work I would be in pain.

Runs narrower than many other wide width shoes. I ordered 4 different styles in 11W and this is the only one I returned. Nice looking, just narrowed too quickly across my toes.

I like this shoe, but the straps do not sit flush on my foot. One strap you can buckle and pull snug while the other is not adjustable. The non adjustable strap gapped off my foot too much. It just didn't look right. The shoe was packed with a plastic form to keep its shape...... it seems to me that that plastic form may be a bit too big and may have stretched out the strap. The width was a little wider in the toe box which was good for me, but if you have narrow feet the Medium width may be too wide. I can't really rate comfort as I never wore them for any length of time. I did like the feel when I tried them on. Unfortunately I will be returning this shoe.

Super cute! Love the texture of the leather. But the toe box was way too small, at my usual 9.5, B width. Had to go back.

I really wanted to like these, but a) the color was not as pictured. I was expecting a navy color, but this was almost a cornflower blue. And b) the criss-cross straps were entirely too loose even on the tightest position, which made the shoe look floppy and unflattering
