Worth every penny. Accommodates my bunions, too.

The boots fit perfect!

I so want to keep these boots, it would be my 2nd pair of La Canadiennes, but they are just too wide for my cafe. I need a 14' width, these are over 15" which sadly I found just too loose when wore with tights. If they are your size and you are looking for a high quality, classic boot, I say go for it! The leather is buttery soft; they have nice support and were comfortable right out of the box. This brand is expensive, but I'm very happy with my current suede, shearing pair and feel they are worth the price. I'm waiting for another of this brand's boots, with a smaller cafe, to come back in stock.

The fit was as expected and fit around my 14.5" calf. Probably won't work with jeans stuffed in but will be fine with leggings. I will definitely be adding some kind of padded insert. I normally wear a 5 1/2 EEEE, which is impossible to find, but the 6 1/2 EE works well enough.

This boot is beautiful! The leather is so smooth. I've been having a difficult time finding a classy black leather boot that has a shaft under 16 inches (I'm 5'2' and tall boots often don't leave me enough leg showing on me; but not this boot.) Additionally, this boot is: comfortable, waterproof, classy yet sexy/chic. I already own La Canadienne Kara and love that one too. La Canadienne does not disappoint. I wish the heel on Jennifer was as high as the Kara but it gives me some added height.

I was thrilled to find boots like these in a narrow. They are very luxurious and the heel height was perfect. I am concerned that the sole is not very thick and that the leather will get wet and wear out quickly. They are waterproof, but the sole does not allow for any weather protection. I wish they were a bit tighter on the calf as well, but that could just be my skinny legs. I will keep these and hope they hold up considering the price I paid.

I have many pairs of La Canadienne. So worth the money. These are great boots. Fit is true to size. Black suede. Square toe which his the best for me when wearing a boot. Walking a lot, your toes tend to hurt and get crammed in anything such as an almond or pointy toe. Remember whenever you have a heel your foot always slides forward a tiny bit. They're a little tight around the calf but just wearing them daily sitting, stretches them out. You can pull the zipper up in little increments daily. I'm not wearing them out yet because I'm waiting for a notification "back in stock" for the "Jenna." The shaft in the "Jenna" appears to be a little taller. I like my boots to almost fit up to the knee. I'm 5'7". I'll wait a while. If it doesn't come in I will definitely keep these. Just wanted to compare the two. I wear an 11m. In all the La Canadienne shoes I have, I never had to order another size.

Love these boots, walked for hours in them and they are comfy! I got the WW and the toe box has plentry of room weather wearing socks and jeans or tights and a dress! They look dressy enough to wear with a dress. I whore skinny jeans and tucked them in the boot which was a snug but comfy fit too. I have a slim to normal size calf and thrilled to find a boot with a WW toe bed and normal sized calf. Leather is smooth and soft! Luv!!

Overall quite comfortable

They look great, and felt great except for the fact that they wouldn't zip all the way up my calf. They were too tight.

I bought my normal size for la Canadienne and the fit was perfect. I also have athletic calves and the shaft was also perfect with the 15 1/2 inches. I have passione also and love it but like the higher heel on Jennifer. Not too high so I think it is going to be very comfortable as all my la canadienne’s are. Highly recommend!

Beautiful boots, beautiful leather, so well made!

These are such stylish boots, I wear them with everything - feminine flirty dresses or heavy winter clothing. I have fairly large calves (14.5") and I can zip them up with jeans tucked in!

Read the previous reviews talking about how narrow they run, so I bought them a half size and width larger. Me feet are swimming! These are perfectly sized boots, don't believe the review. Sadly sincere and here so large I have to send them back :(

These are beautiful boots however can’t seem to find the right fit. I ordered a Wide (D) and they seemed a half Size too small and could not fully zip up calf. The next size up wasn’t available except in EE - too wide. They are a beautiful dress boot for the right foot!

These boots fit my narrow feet, short legs, and slim calves very well. They are comfortable and appear well made. Stylistically, they are a little too boxy, but they fit and they're comfortable, so I'm keeping them! For reference, I'm 5'2" 105 lbs.

The footbed is indeed wide and roomy but they do not accomodate larger calf sizes. Had to return, and I'm not that big - just have muscular/large calves. Could not get these to zip :( Beautiful boots though. High quality leather.

Due to some peculiar bone structure, I have a high arch and wear a 7EE and it's very difficult to find a pair of boots in that width that doesn't also have a wide calf which I don't need, so I am very fond of La Canadienne boots. The Jennifer, though, was maybe 1/2 a width tight across the ball of my foot and also tight over the arch. The real problem for me, though, was that I have back problems and although the heel is very stable it's too high for my back. Sigh. So I am returning them. Note to other EE width women - this boot does not have a wide calf.

Great fit, perfect 9N, I was a little disappointed with the quality for the price. These boots are stiff,and at this price, I expected a little more quality. I will be keeping them, because they fit well and I needed a weather proof boot.

Beautiful leather dress boot; however, I was looking for something with a thicker lining and more insulation. There is really no insulation in these boots. So sadly, I am returning these lovely boots.

Ordered this boot in black suede, which looks beautiful. The block heel appeared supportive . . . something on which I could walk all day. The shaft did not seem as structured as the Grace and Veronique models. I was looking for a more structured boot, so this style did not suit me. The calf circumference is accurate, and is large compared to other La Canadienne styles. Unfortunately, the boot looked too wide and was unflattering for my petite height .

heel wider than expected for the side and slips up and down when walking.

These are ok, but the Jenny style with the square toe from a few years ago was MUCH better. Wish they would please bring that one back.

Fit true to size. Material looked a little too synthetic.
